Most people call me Rena. Please, call me Rena. I'm a high schooler and life is virtually perfect right about now. But really, I like to write. I write this and that but mainly short stories because I'm too disorganized to get a complete novel out. I write more than you'd actually think but I hate letting people read my work. I'm trying to get out of that. Give me time. Right about now, I'm reviewing other works and getting something great together to show you all. My worst thing is that I can't write poetry. And I know what they say, poetry doesn't have to rhyme. But to me, it maybe should and that's where my downfall comes. I like making new friends and perhaps I'm a little too trusting at times but that's how the world goes around and around morning, noon and night. We need a little trust and love in this world. Another thing would be that I collect inspiration from anywhere and everyone. If you say something interesting, it'll probably be the next thing in my story because it really touched me. Also, I get ideas from songs and movies and books. I love reading and my favorite movies are Tarzan, Elizabethtown and V for Vendetta. Anyways, talk to me. Send me a PM and I can most certainly insure you that I'll be the coolest person you've ever met-or not. You'll never know what you'll get with me.
It's so nice to meet you. I have the same problem you have, I get so ashamed when I my work to others-even in at school I have problems with that- and that quite sucks, although Im getting better at it not at YWS.
And about poetry, well I'm certainly not the best poet but at least I can say I'm a better poet than novelist or stuff like that. It's just that they're so short and can transmit in twenty lines what a novel transmits in 600. BUt writing a novel is cool, it just needs determination.
By the way, Elizabethtown is such a sweet movie, so cute. What grade are you in high school?
So nice to meet and I hope to see more of you around here?
