Cats! I love my dog, but I've had kitties for longer and I consider them slightly more appealing.

Of course, one of my cats has a very dog-like temperament so that might be part of why I love him so much.

Plus, the musical is epic as well. ;)

I'm definetely more of a dog lover, but I like cats too.

Dogs, definitely. I adore them and I'm allergic to cats so that was an easy question to answer.

I chose cats because they're stay out of your hair less.... But personally I think human slaves are more appropriate than using animals to do your dirty work.

Heh, Yoda. I like it.

Cats. Dogs are all right, but cats are cooler. That said, my avatar is now a dog in a T-shirt as opposed to a cat with a chainsaw, but whatever. xD

Haha, I agree with the comment about the musical. ;D I was obsessed with that as a little girl, and now I'm obsessed with it again as a not-so-little girl. Not to be cliche, but Rum Tum Tugger is cuteeeee. xD
Anyway, I voted cats because to be perfectly honest, most dogs freak me out a little. Just 'cause they have all that energy. I'd love a hairless cat because they're cuddly (not much hair, so they love anything warm), and reasonably calm, and quirky. Plus they love being the center of attention, so they'll do all sorts of goofy things to get noticed.

Mm, dogs. ^^ I love my puppy (although not so much a puppy anymore) and I've had her sicne I was five. Having a dog (a big one, especially) makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, not to mention safe from anyone trying to get onto our property. :P

And, psh, no, being allergic to cats doesn't make me biased at all. xD

I've got two cats (1 thick, 1 smart) and two dogs (1 big, 1 small), so I guess I'm a good one to ask, even if I say so myself. I love them both, but I hate how much my dogs cry when I/ a family member goes out, and my cat leaves hair on everything, so I go into school wearing clothes that make me look like a cat (with a few abnormailties as cats go). So I'd go with a talking bird that I could teach horrible things to say instead of hello. Then, when my parents walk in...

I said "cats" because they're the underdog (*cough*) in this poll.

That said, I own 3 cats and 2 dogs. I love them both. But I know that, while I might not always have a dog, I will never be without a cat. There is just something so soothing about a purring cat. Plus they're not too inclined to chew on your books while they are teething. *glares at both my dogs*

I chose dogs. (of course) Dogs are so much fun to be around, and cats just get hair over everything and bite your ankles as you walk by. And besides...

Who could deny this? :(
