Hey Wolf-Dancer, welcome to Young Writers Society! Looks like you've come to the right place. Just a few guidelines you should know to help you out:
~The 2:1 ratio. Well, this is probably the most important rule on the site. It helps keep balance between the reviewing and posting, so make sure you have at least two reviews before submitting anything on the site.
~Please be kind, respectful, and courteous to your writing peers. Common courtesy, you know all that. If someone signs your guestbook, you sign back. If someone reviews your work it would be kind of you to review theirs.
~Don't take reviews personally. Everyone is trying to help you improve in your writing, so they have good intentions. If they're being straight out mean, please PM a Moderator.
~Don't use chat-speak or CAPs. DON'T TALK LIKE THIS nd dnt tk lyk dis. This is a writers' site, so you're expected to write like one. Term abbreviations, like lol, POV, and MC are acceptable.
Have a question? Want a review or need a friend? PM me and I'll be happy to help!
But enough about rules; so you like myths, werewolves, dragons and such? Sounds like you're kind of into Fantasy Fiction. I love fantasy fiction because it's so fun to write. I'm actually scraping my novel together from three years ago, and it has prophecy, dragons, and sorta werewolves. Let me know when you post something and I'd be glad to check it out.

Yeah, I know how that whole things goes with moving and having no one you know... It pretty much sucks.
Welcome to YWS! The community of writers that will never leave you... Never. Seriously. You will never get rid of us. Ever...
Nah, just kidding.
Or am I?
Anyway, scout around the site, post some stuff and say hi. We're all really friendly here and are constantly looking to meet new victims.. uh, I mean, friends.
Looking forward to seeing you around!
(Just kidding, you do realize. The people here really are cool.)
Ok, so you've already been told the rules, I'll tell you a bit about colours.Greeters are in blue. Their job is pretty obvious, they hang out in the welcome forum and greet newbies! Instructors are in purple. If you want a good review PM an instuctor as they're the best on the site. Junior mods and Mods look after the site. Moderaters (in dark green) look after the whole thing, and junior mods (light green) are in control of certain forums. Administrators keep the whole site running as well as having the power of a moderator. Distinguished members are members who have retired from being a moderator.
Well, now you know! I am a fan of myths, especially ancient greek mythology! And some heavy metal music, not all, but some. Who're your favourite bands? Anyway, if you want a review/friend/chat feel free to PM me! Happy writing! AquaX

Hey Wolf. It looks like everyone has pretty much covered the rules, so let me just say that you have come to the right place if you are looking to make friends. Everyone's so kind and welcoming here.
Dragons are pretty awesome. I like some heavy metal music, like 'Down With the Sickness' & 'I'm so sick' which I guess is moderate metal, but i dunno.
What do you like to write? Are you writing anything right now? Do you hope to get published?
PM me if you have any questions regarding the site.

Hey, Wolf ^^ Welcome to YWS! xD I can assure you this site has a bunch of amazing people that could potentially be your friends. I'm Shina One of the instructor-greeters on the site. It is my job and my pleasure to greet the newbs of YWS.
And now, a little segment on the rules...
Never do the following:
USE CAPS!
Uze chtspek gurlfraaaaaaan.
Post three pieces of work for every one review.
Insult people and use mean words like a toilet-mouth.
But I think those are pretty given xD Enjoy the YWS fun this weekend! It's our grand reopening! Prizes, competitions, games, insanity! Join in the fun!

You cannot dream yourself into a character; you must hammer and forge yourself into one.
The writer, when he is also an artist, is someone who admits what others don't dare reveal.
*turns around* EEP! You know, standing right behind people can be kind of startling!
So myths huh? What kind of myths are you interested in? Like, Greek mythology maybe? Zues, Hercules, Athena, Diana, etc? I love Greek mythology =) And some others as well.
As for heavy metal, favourite bands? A lot of people I know classify it different ways; some people include Metallica, some people don't. They're one of my favourites though.
And I see the rules have been covered for ya, so I won't bore you with more of that I *would* however like to encourage you to check out, not just our literary forums, but our usergroups! And blogs! And of *course* get started on writing and reviewing, seeing as that's what we're all about.
Oh, aaand there's a chatroom! If you go in there once in a while you're bound to run into me eventually
If you have *any* questions, or, you know, want to chat about the different ways people use dragons in stories (there's this fad that I'm preeetty sure Ann McCaffrey started; since you like dragons, I recommend her, if you haven't already read her)
