Cheetah

Kay guys, I was only 12 when I did this. I had to use my web cam so the quality is pretty poor as it's too big to fit in the scanner. Its funny when I look at it now, because the markings and proportions are all loopy. Tell me what you think

Um, it's hard to see it because of the light quality.
I don't really know much about cats but I agree with you that the markings are off. You just need more of them, in the form of spots anyway.
Also I noticed at the bottom of the page you've let the paint drip, I think you should just go over it with some more white paint, it will tidy it up a bit.

I like to draw and write. I think as a twelve year old you did a creat job, I mean we can't all start out with the Mona Lisa now can we. Though it's a little small in proportion I really like the head on the cheetah, it looks quite correct. I don't think you should be too hard on yourself and you should keep drawing. My first artwork sucks... I mean my stuff nowadays still isn't publish material but if I hadn't kept at it I wouldn't have learned anything and my art skills would have staid at level zero. Just a thought.

Well beside that bizzare remark. This is nice. I agree with Skittles. It looks like something that belongs on an African vase or urn. It's quite disproportionate but it works well in a weird way. The colouring is a little messy but I feel it all works together quite well.
Can you try to get rid of the black drip lines? I sort of ruins the picture and makes it look a little sloppy.

I really like this. I agree with Skittles - I can so see it on some ancient African pottery or on a cave painting. It has that cool sort of old look, if you know what I mean?
But! There is room for improvement, even in good art. Like Kamas said, the drippy lines from the tail and the hind legs detract from the picture. The shoulder is too high - either lower it or raise the part of the tail bone where it sort of slopes down the back. Or both. Play around with the proportions and see what looks good. Also, it's a little weird that your cheetah doesn't seem to have a neck. I know a lot of actual cheetahs do sometimes look like that, but... I don't know. xD It just looks weird to me.
The tail looks too thin, and in the front, the back leg looks too fat. Same with the front leg in the back (I do hope you know what I'm talking about when I say that xD ). And! Last but not least, try to make the paws a little more defined. As it is, the legs look like they just end in little stubs, and I don't think that's what you were going for.
Nice work on the head. Maybe make the ears a little bigger, but that's up to you.
So! Great job, and keep it up. ^^

I can not draw that well but I am only 9.

I like the drwing but here are a few tips. One, the cheetah is way too skinny. its butt looks way out of porportion to its body. Second, the cheetahs head is too small. its head looks very small against the strong shoulders of the cheetahs back. Nice arch in the cheetahs back too. Great job, I love it!

This is so cute, not bad for being so young! I won't be harsh on you, seeing that you were only twelve.

For some reason, this drawing reminds me of some african cave painting, but in a good way. It's simple colours and patterns give it a bit of personality. Although the paint seems to have run on one of the hind legs, it again adds to this cave painting feel I get from it.

A note about the legs; the hind left leg is way too small, and the front left is too long The poor guy would be running all over the place!

Anyways, I liked this. Keep it up

Oh my goodness! I love it, it's so cute yet fierce in a way. I love how distinct you made the face look and it has simple details but you still get so much out of it. By the way, I love cheetahs so sorry if I ramble about this one. PLEASE DO MORE WORK!
