I had a Skype interview several months ago. One of the tips I read beforehand said to have something to look at to remind you to look into the webcam at not at the thumbnail with your own face. So I covered my face with a Post-It note and put up another Post-It note with a creepy-looking smiley face just above the webcam. Didn't get the job, and I haven't had a Skype interview since, but the smiley face is still there and I'm still not taking it down.
