I really like using quotes from YWSers' stories/poems to caption my work. Though I don't use the quotes anywhere else, a few people have asked me to get permission first/change the quotes.

Because I usually browse the forums and search for quotes right before I'm about to post using the quotes, it would be a lot of work for me to ask. Save for one quote here, I'm not going to use quotes from YWSers unless I ask.

So, here's some of my works pulled from the sets I've been [gradually] working on since April. These aren't the best photos from the set (I'm using some of my better ones on other things and don't want to post them here now) ... wait, what am I saying?

My favorites were by far the first and second photos. I felt that they really captured a feeling of some sort, and they were absolutely gorgeous.

I didn't quite get the pictures of the buildings. Perhaps they were too common place (or perhaps I just have really weird taste, (as I usually go for the real decrepit and derelict structures) but they didn't capture feeling like some of your other ones did. The insects and the flowers were lovely though, I just adore seeing things close up like that.

The picture Inlet was very good, but I felt like the telephone poles took away from the natural beauty of the scene. Perhaps you could photoshop them out to make it look a little less industrialized? I did like the boat on the water, it was very serene and didn't take away from the picture.

like the black and white cat with green eyes, so pretty!
Is that your cat? My cat would scratch me if I ever tried to take a picture of him.
He doesn't like people he keeps to hims self, but your cat, or who's cat that is, is so pretty! Hope you take more pictures! I would love to see them!!

I love you focus, dude. These were all so beautiful. My favorite was probably Summer Afternoons.
Just how pretty it was...took my breath away. You have some talent, dude. I like your taste in what makes a good picture. Similar to mine, but I still have a few years to catch up on. . I really loved them. I wasn't a fan of the manmade products except for the black and white picture of the front of a building. That one was your best one of those. All of the nature and bugs and kitty ones were beautiful. Great job!

These are fantastic photos! they are simply amazing! You have such talent. Each picture brings emotion and a story with it. Truly remarkable! Keep it up! The first three and the ones set in A small world are my faves!

okay... pics # 1-3 were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG they captured my heart...literally i stopped breathing...talk about breath taking.
Pics # 4-8 were...well its not that they weren't good...they were okay.... *wipes away a beed of sweat*
Pic # 9 was pretty awesome...
Pics 10-12 were boring. they were good i guess (I'm no genius) but i just didn't find it interesting.
Pics # 13-and the rest were also very good. i like the purple flowers with the bee.
my favorite picture though has got to be picture # 2. seriously you should enter it in a compition. if i were a judge i would burn all the other entries...*smiles cheesily* there would be no comparison.

Wow times three. These pictures are beautiful, definetely breathtaking. You are very talented (very). My favorite pictures were the small world ones and the summer afternon one. They were all really pretty, really good but the ones I mentioned are my favorite.

Wow that is really cool. My favorite ones were 1,2,15,&17.....They are amazing.

Wow. This are beautiful, my favorites are probably the ones with bugs and flies and plants and stuff. xD Sorry, this is my first ever review attempt for photography. Well, this doesn't really count as a review does it? Okay, comment for photography.
Uh, anyway, my absolute favorite is "Summer Afternoons [12]", I love the lighting, and the flower is beautiful. What flower is that? Is it a Daisy? It looks like one, but i've never seen one so big before. I don't have much knowledge in the flower catagory.
I didn't really like the photographs with the buildings in, I just think buildings are dull things to take pictures of, unless said building had something breathtakingly beautiful about it, but I dunno, I just prefer your other pictures.
Anyway, you're a really talented person! Keep up the good work ! ^o^

That was awesome! I liked how it showed pics and quotes. They really matched each other. I really liked them!

1) Aw Kitty. I won't say anything about this one. It's just too cute.
2) I love the shadow on the boats. It looks so nice. One thing it is that the posts take away from it. but you couldn't have removed then now could you?
3) Seems a little blurry and the black and white doesn't work very well in this case. For black and white to work you need a contrast in colours. here it is just different shades of black and gray.
4) This one has more eye drawing contrast but it is still a little bit dull and blurry.
5)This one is blurry but much more eye drawing. Good contrast.
6) Hmm very blurry but it has a nice misty effect on the picture and the black and white works.
7) Looks very tourist-y if that is a word. More like "ooh! Pretty boat." I love bating though so you have my attention.
I love the tree blowing. It looks very nice. I feel the flags behind the boat take away from it though. Photoshop them?
9) This is the june photography I know! Very pretty I love the colours. Sidenote: I have a weird obsession with beads so if you need any call me xD
10) Awww! Fluffy, tired-looking kitten + daisies = perfect no matter how badly taken. Adorable and lovely angle!
11) Duck! Duck! Goose! I like how everything else is blurry and you caught the goose in action. I've noticed a trend though, every time you have black and white photos they have the smallest blur the covers the entire image. It take away from the picture every time. I don't know whether it is you or the camera though
12) Oo-ers! That so nice Juniper. I love this one. The crane is so cool looking. But once again blurry.
13) I like it. Blurry again but very nice.

Hey June!

Here I am

1 - Such a cute Kitty! I want that kitty...send it to me. I like this one. The cat is in focus and more importantly the face is in focus. There is light in the eyes, which I always think is an important part of photographing an animal. If you have light in their eyes then it just gives them that extra bit of life to jump off the page. Composition wise there may be a bit too much dead space at the top of the photo. It is a little difficult to tell because of the way I see it on my computer but I think there is a little too much space above the cats head. Other than that I like this shot and I like the colours.

2 - Nice shot. I like the use of the light here. The sun flare doesn't even bother me. I always think you can have photos with sun flares as long as they don't detract from the overall photo too much. I perhaps would have gone slightly more to the left with this shot, so you don't have as much earth in the bottom right. However I think the composition of this shot is pretty good and you are thinking of how to lead the viewer through the photograph, which is something a lot of people seem to ignore. Good shot.

3 - The composition of this shot is cool and I like the black and white. However when I look closey it seems sort of fuzzy. Mainly where the bushes/flowers are at the bottom. It's kind of off putting, it just seems slightly fuzzy which bothers my eye. Like I say though, good shot. I like how you have part of the tree there, the angles of the building and this little path that leads away to the right, good composition.

4 - I'm not so sure about the composition of this shot. I think there is a little too much grass and not enough sky. Again the angles of the building are quite interesting but I don't think this one is as good as the last shot of the same building. Also something I noticed is that the sky is so white. It is the same in the other shot. I think I would have like to see more definition in the sky, more clouds or something but of course you can't control the weather.

5 - This just makes me want to go visit this place. However it seems slightly off kilter. I'm not sure why. I don't think the composition works that well, there is a little too much going on and a little too much dead space. Like the space at the bottom left just kind of bothers my eye. There is a little more definition on the sky though and I like that and this place just seems really awesome and it looks like you had fun shooting it.

6 - I don't like this shot. The building is out of focus and there is all this pixelation or noise happening in the photo. It just all seems to be out of focus and I don't like that. Also composition wise I think there is just too much sky and too much water. It's not a very interesting photo :/

7 - Oh! Sky with clouds and definition and stuff! I likey! I love the sky here. Ok the subject of this photograph doesn't really appeal to me but this photo is composed well and the colours are good and it is in focus. Good shot.

8 - I'm not sure about this photo. I love the tree and the colours and I love how dramatic the sky looks but I'm not so sure about the front of the boat kind of cutting into the photo. I think I would have liked the photo better without the boat. I think the tree as the sole focus of the shot would have been better.

9 - I'm not so good at this whole uber close photography. I like this but the focus seems a little odd. I would have liked the bead closest to the camera to be in focus and then maybe the next one and then have it gradually lose focus. Here however it seems the pink one is out of focus and then the orange one is in focus and then everyone after that us out of focus. It's just a little off.

10 - I think your intention in this photo was to have the cat out of focus and the flowers in focus but personally I would have liked to have it the other way rough. I just think the cat is too big of a subject in the photo to have it out of focus is all.

11 - Ugh! Canada Goose! Seriously I hate those things I always have to circle round them when I see one *shudders*. It would have been a cool shot if it had worked out. I like the people out of focus in the background and the goose in the foreground but unfortunately the head of the goose is out of focus and it ruins the photo.

12 - Heron! Now I would say that I wished you had gotten closer to the Heron and that there is too much space around the Heron. However I know how difficult it can be sometimes to get close to wild animals and you just go with any sort of shot you can get. That said I love the reflections in this photo and the ducks in the background. Cool shot.

13 - Love this shot. This may be my favourite one lol I could so write a story about this shot and I really want to. The focus is clear and crisp and the composition is lovely and I love the window. Isn't it funny that I love all your shots that involve a window.

I think you have definitely improved since last time I reviewed one of your photo posts You seem to be thinking more about the viewer and the composition. One thing I would say is just watch your focus. Some of the photos you posted are just out of focus. So anyway Keep it up. I like seeing your work around.

I loved the inlet, the summer home, the rainbow pins and the great blue heron. All of the pictures have great senses of angles and light. For the insect ones, i like how close the pictures are, even if bugs are totally gross. great job! i love them all!
