I'm a fantasy/sci-fi writer who has been having writer's block for the past few months and I have been trying to overcome it, currently trying to work on a fantasy story that kinda borders on science fantasy as the main theory is semi-plausible. I'm also very much into music, am pretty eclectic (I prefer rock/metal though) and will normally be found either writing, reading, listening to music, or playing a game.

So far, you seem to be doing pretty well with one of the main rules here: no cht talk. We try to speak like the educated individuals we are, and by that, I mean using correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etc. Once you have that, your story is pretty much set for viewing.
If you're having writer's block, just go and read and review a bit. Getting inspired by others' work can't hurt, and you can even select the category, (in your case fantasy), that you'd like to read from.
wut u men lik dis? Just kidding, I'm a bit of a grammar/spelling nazi, and try to enforce proper spelling, at the very least, among my friends.
Thanks for the tip of reviewing others work, I'll try that out. I also randomly found out that Trance music helps me a bit as well, and I've managed to start on my prologue (Finally!) and I'm getting that out of the way. If I need help on chapter one after that I'll read and review.

Just a couple of days ago, I found myself once again plagued by the demon that is writer's block. Grrr... *bangs head against desk cursing my malfunctional muse from dawn 'til dusk*
