Half-Blood Prince

Saw it last night! AWESOME! I'm already trying to find someone to take me again because I can't wait until it comes out on DVD!

There are some major changes, but if you put those aside it's a great movie. I'm definitely anxious to see the next one and the begging my mom to take me was totally worth it.

Oh, I hear ya. It was really great, as long as you try not to compare the movie and the book. Though still I can't shake the whole corn-field, fire scene. Whatever - definitely the funniest of all the movies, in my opinion. November 2010 for the Deathly Hallows!!! :] part one, at least. that's what I hear.

Nuuu, I want to see it too X_X. Unfortunately I'll have to wait to the 22nd. Gawd, I can't even see the commercial without whimpering because I want to see it so badly.

I saw it about 2 nights ago, and it was good. There is only so much a director can do.
If you don't compare the book and the movie, you'll be fine.

It just felt like they'd filmed all of these scenes and then just threw them together, it didn't flow nicely from one scene to the other. And from the 'behind the magic' show I watched on YouTube, it seemed like Bellatrix and Greyback played more of a part.

[spoiler]What on Earth happened in the field-fire scene?? And Harry going underneath the floor when Dumbledore was killed?[/spoiler]

Good performances by Helen Bonham Carter (as usual - love that woman!) and Tom Felton, he brought a vulnerability to Draco which was very good! (although he only had about 8 sentences in total...)

My advice would be to read the book before watching the movie, if you haven't read the books - do so! You'll be hopelessly confused if you don't.

I think it was great, actually, and definitely beats the 5th movie. I'm so glad Draco Malfoy got more screentime xD

The action and non-action (eg. romantic teenage stuff) was well balanced in the movie, in my opinion.

I saw it a couple of days ago, and I did not like it. I wish it were more loyal to the book.

I saw it two days ago, and I liked it. I think it was great - though, they did change a heck of a lot I loved Tom Felton's acting too, and how he was so vulnerable throughout the movie. I loved Bellatrix too, as usual xD The teen romance stuff was well done. Some of it was a bit awkward though. But overla,, great movie!

I liked Half-Blood Prince better than the Order of the Phoenix. However, like Terpsichore mentioned, it was as if all the scenes were simply thrown together. Harry's acting at some parts sounded a little 'fake,' for some odd reason. However, I did like Helena Bonham Carter and Tom Felton as Bellatrix and Malfoy - they acted really well. The romances were awkward, but just fine.

Order of the Pheonix left me really confused - both the book and the movie. So much new stuff going on, and it almost felt like JK Rowling thought "Oh, I'm way behind on the voltemore plot! I need to get caught up!"

This movie was better. I thought it focused too much on the teen drama, though - there wasn't enough magic or action, I think.

However, I do like how the movie was less dark than the others.

I saw it two days ago and loved it! Though my friends and I were yelling immature comments throughout the movie [xD ], I thoroughly enjoyed it. I so want to see it again, but unfortuantly, I have to save what little money I have left for my trip to Florida.

Oh! I forgot to mention my favorite part.

There wasn't one thing. There wasn't story of Tom's (Volan-de-Mort's) parents, but film was long and creators of film couldn't include all. Good work of director, actors and producers.

I saw it with my cousins, and completely forgot what happened in the book so it was all surprising and exciting!
