Nef!

I know I already introduced myself on the 'Welcome' board but if you missed it you can read about me here.

I'm 17 years old and love reading. I've tried to write poetry but since my English teachers have NEVER liked anything I've written I gave up.

I love history (especially the Egyptians - my names a clue to that) and I've written a short story about an Egyptian Queen. It's not good and I won't post it because I'd rather be a reviewer than a writer.

Well that's about it.

EDIT: I don't mind being called Nef or Nefer.

What about Efe? Anyway, you shouldn't let what your teachers say keep you from writing if you enjoy it. I'd read your poetry, if you posted some.

I agree with Bobo, your advice on my poems really helped, and that shows me you know what your talking about. Everyone has different views on what they like and dislike. So don't let anyone hold you back.

Thanks guys but I will never write poems again, I just can't do it. It's like having writers block...

To be honest I did like some of the poems you wrote for class but the teachers always were too harsh on you because you always wrote what was the first thing on your mind. Forget about what they said and write next time you're thinking. I know you'll write again one day.

Well.. I might try to write next time I feel the magical sparkles flow through my fingers.
