Whoever Told You There Was Such a Thing as a White Lie?

The green in your eyes lies,
As does the curve of your lip,
Supple though it is.
Your ash brown hair is braided with more lies
Than there are tourists in Florida.

Your tongue is the shaper of lies,
As are the teeth that encircle it
Like too easily bribed, depraved henchmen.
Your ears are the most extravagant lie of all-
As if they ever listen.

Your life is a lie in pants.

It is only your nose that remains honest,
Always poking into my personal affairs
When what I really need is

To be left alone.
Your beliefs define your character... I believe in LOVE.

This is a wonderful poem! I have no criticism of it; all I see is the beauty of your writing and the emotions that are felt as I read this poem.
It is only your nose that remains honest,
Always poking into my personal affairs

^ That is the best part. Keep up the great work. I cannot wait to read more of this writing. :)

Wow. This was totally incredible. Like Macs said, the emotion just rolled off of it. Your rhythm was a little sketchy, but still great. It just goes to show no one is perfect, as does your poem. I especially liked the first to lines.*gold star* Wonderful job. =]

No where to run...baby let's hide. Take her in your arms on a chilling winter's night. Watch the stars twinkle and glisten. Know that you've found the one person that will listen. ~*(ME)*~
