This is Anthro!

He works for the devil *gasp!* BUT! Enough about his dark and scary and satanic background! ;)

He's not very old... Yeah, I just made him around the end of December last year. His pattern I got off these little birds that used to fly around my school campus. They looked...relevant to this XD I amplified the colors a little and made them fitting for a wolf. I like how they came out :)

I excercised that new paw style that I see most wolf artists using. Hopefully they don't look like hooves anymore. NOW I give you the permission to talk about them XD

And, as per a lot of peoples' requests, I shaded it. I hate shading lol. But it always comes out so nicely ^^ I'm still relatively new at it, so I know it's not like amazing or anything lol, but I hope it's somewhat realistic. I really need to start using references, but I don't want to >_< Maybe I will eventually :D Because right now it's kinda completely random, other than places that are obvious lol.

Also, those little shaded spots on his side aren't random; they're his shoulder X) I'm not sure what the one in the back is, but I see it on a lot of pictures, and I don't think it looks so bad, so...yeah :)

I really hope you like him ^^ Be gentle, but be honest :)

Thanks! ^^

Well, I think guns help. If you just stand there and yell BANG I don't think you're going to kill too many people...

Hello,

Very nice! I am really glad that you shaded! It gives Anthro dimension, more animation! The red in his eyes could have been bolder or highlighted, to give him a more evil, angry effect! The colours are nice, dark. The black spot on his chest looks off or awkward to me. I don't know if it me or the shape but something about it...

Also, the front lifted paw looks better then the other lifted paw that you had on another wolf. But still, it looks a little too bent or too straight, I'm not sure but there is some thing not flowing with it. And speaking of paws, the far back leg is at a weird angle, it kind of looks like a chicken leg. The paws overall look like paws not hooves, not that they ever did but some suspected so.

I would like to end with a congratulations on a very good picture and keep it up!
I shall but love thee better after death.

O, review time, but I am going to start off on what I like. (and I never do that)

I love how you fixed the paws. They look like wolf paws now! The way they are curved and everything.

Next thing I love is the shading. It looks very nice, I can't shade worth flip yet so I am jealous haha.

Last thing that I love is his color, and his bushy tail, it's gorgeous!

Ok, now for the dislikes.

I dislike how long his neck is. If it were a little shorter I would love it.

His face is a little horse like, it needs more shape.

Oh well that's all I got.

Keep Drawing

My reality comes to a close as I once again realize that you don't love me, and even if I love you with my everything you will never care.

Hey!

The Positives-
1. I love his bushy tail! *steals the tail*
2. His paws are really well done
3. Shading and muscle details are excellent
4. I really like the colours that you used, the beige stripe from his eye to his hind leg looks awesome!
5. His eye ties in with the 'working for the devil' bit, which is excellent

The Negatives-
1. The neck is a fraction too long, but im sure it could be easily fixed
2. The head is at a sligtly strange angle. Maybe studying the way wolves carry their heads would be useful. The head is a bit too narrow, but im sure it wouldnt take much to fatten it up again.

Excellent work, I for one cannot draw wolves at all...:(...**envy-glare**

Keep it up,

Hey! I think this is a great picture, but I think you could improve on some things.
1. The feet look a bit strange.
2. It would look much better if you could put more detail in the face.
3. You could try making the character move to a different angle so that you could see the whole drawing better in a way :)
Other than that, I think you did a great job on shading/texturing the fur.

Well done ! =))

Yay! People don't hate the paws anymore!! :) This makes me very happy ;)

Okay, let's see...:

Awake: I understand what you're saying about his eye, the only thing is is that he isn't evil. He just works for someone evil lol. He's really nice, just that his past is dark :) But, yes, I completely understand, and if he himself were evil, I definitely would have done that.
Also, I know that that spot stands out quite a bit lol. But like I said, I took everything from those little birds, and fixed a few things up so that they matched a wolf's face as opposed to a bird's. But the little black chest was there, so I duplicated it. It is a bit outlandish, isn't it?
Chicken leg? Lol sorry, that confused me a bit XD
Anywho, thanks :)

Flower: Thanks ^^ Glad you approve lol. Yeah, it seems that I make a lot of my wolves' necks too long. But yeah, I see it too. I've fixed that once or twice on some wolf pictures lol, so I'll keep doing it and see what everyone thinks.
Horse face... People like comparing my wolves to horses XD Lol. Anyway, on a more serious note, yeah, I kinda see what you are saying. The way it's angled downwards. Yes, it makes sense. I don't usually draw them in that kind of pose, so it shouldn't come up too much more. Thanks for pointing it out, though ^^

Wiki: ^^ I'm glad you like it. Everybody loves his tail lol. Yay for fluffy wolf tails! X) Even though it's much bigger than an average wolf tail, it is cute and fluffy ^^ Or, I think so anyway lol. Anyway, I'm glad you like him :)

Shishu: Ahhh! The paws STILL look weird?? I will never succeed  *is depressed* Lol just kidding XD Anyway...
What kind of detail to the face? There isn't very much more that I can add... It's all that I usually have, so...yeah.
Also...heh heh...about the angles... It seems that every time I try to draw a wolf at an angle, it turns out very oddly... I need to find some tutorials on them or something, because as of now, they look like...well, I'm not even sure exactly lol. Not like wolves, that's all I know for sure.

Anyway, thanks again everyone ^^

neck is to long and the legs are short
id suggest studying more on the anatomy of canines e.g. bone structure and muscles
