The Story:
You and 9 other people have been chosen to play characters in the ultimate film of the century. It's a position that millions would kill for. You have fought your way to the top and if the film is a success, you will be rich and famous. You've made the audition in New York and are currently in your 9th month of rehearsals. 9 months down, 9 more to go. The media is excited and hovering in anticipation for any actor or actress to make a mistake. You've officially entered a world where your every move is documented by the paparazzi, where scandalous propaganda about you floats around, and where rumours are the foundation for truth. This fame has hoisted some up, but destroyed some as well. You'll have to be tough to survive. You'll have to clear your slate of your previous life to make room for this new one. Good luck, because there's no business like show business.

The Film:
The film you are playing in is a romance, a drama, a horror, and a thriller. It's called Exhilaration. The plot is complicated and unexpected and guess what? The writers of this storybook will write it as they go.

Character She's playing: Amy
Personality: She's sweet, cheerful and new to acting. She has a heart of gold and is rather bubbly and naive. She loves to talk. She will have to toughen up if she's going to survive in this world.
History: She played a minor role in a Soap Opera and decided to try her luck on the big screen. She grew up in Maine and is rather ignorant of the world.

Character She's playing: Annalise

Personality: Cora is very serious about her work. It is her life, and she never goes away from it. When she gets into character, she tends to stay in character for a while. She tends to be aloof and sarcastic.

History: Cora's mother was one of those very-typical Hollywood moms. She forced Cora into acting at the seven years old, and Cora has been acting ever since. When Cora was younger, she was much like Ellen, carefree and always happy, but acting changed her. She has seen things that she will never mention, and honestly hates the life of an actress. But she is talented, and it is the only thing she knows. So Cora simply never thinks about her past.

Character: Heloise

Personality: Silly, goofy, funny and never serious. Kind of shy. The exact opposite of her character. She loves to laugh and is only serious when it comes to her career. She loves acting more than anything and ha been pretty sucessful.

History: She's not too new to the whole acting career. She's played in two movies, one who made it to the big screen and was pretty popular. After that she started a soap opera and gained a stalker. They tried to kill her and so she made sure they killed her character off in that soap. Now she's here to try again, after spending time with her 6 year old daughter. She is a single mother and an actress.

Just to tell people now, the actors will be residing in flats above the theatre.

This is somewhat an accurate assumption of what he looks like. Kind of look past the sign over it though XP.

Character: Paul

Personality: Boisterious and outgoing, but much like his character, he is very naive.

History: He grew up acting in his school plays and by the time he graduated he go a bachelor in art and theatre. His life-long passion was to act, and in that he forgot many things in which usually held him back. He was notorious for his boisterious 'happy-go-lucky' ness whenever he entered the scene and loved being under the spot light. The character he is playing though has many tendancies of himself. It is a hard role though because of the fact that he, himself, doesn't have a clue about banking so he hopes he can get through the ideals of a banker in time.

Name: Michael Beach
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Appearance: Michael has dark hair, brown eyes, and unevenly tanned skin. He is of average height, and a little bit underweight. He has a small scar across his right cheek from an accident with a pair of scissors.

Character: Ryan

Personality: He's mostly amicable, but easily gets annoyed whenever he's caught off guard by something. He doesn't like to be surprised, and it happens quite often, so most people would assume he's grouchy all the time.

History: He grew up with his parents and an uncle, all of whom were actors when they were younger. They fostered his love for acting, him to try for school productions when younger, and as he grew older, he has played a few minor roles in some movies. His uncle is a war veteran, so when he heard about the role, he immediately wanted to try out. He is very passionate about the issue, and he feels that this is his only way to help his parents and honor his uncle, who has post-traumatic stress disorder.

Name: Jason Valdez

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Appearance: Short, tousled blond hair and brown eyes. He stands at about 5'10", and is kind of skinny, but not too much so. He generally wears fairly casual clothes, has a relaxed air about him, and is always ready with a quirky smile.

Character he's playing: Tucker

Personality: He's very friendly, always happy to chat with someone, or meet someone new. He's the kind of guy people just get along with. He doesn't like taking sides, particularly when people he knows are involved. But he's no pushover either, if someone tries to slight him, he won't let them get away with it.

History: Jason is somewhat new to the world of acting, and completely new to the big screen. Before Exhiliration, he played a minor character in a sitcom, and only appeared in a few episodes. A talent scout, however, decided that he was perfect for the role of Tucker (based on the character he was playing) and got him an audition. When he walked in and greeted the interviewers in a very friendly, far-from-Tucker manner, they almost sent him out on the spot. But by the end of it, they were convinced. Jason has little difficulty playing the 'spoilt rich kid', as he himself has come out of a wealthy family - with his little brother as the brat. He draws on his little brother for inspiration, basically playing Tucker the way his brother lives.

Personality: Opposite of her character. Pretends to be nice at first and then is seen as a control freak and a brat.
History: Started off as a child star in different TV shows and movies. Her mother was a pop star and her father a producer/director/co-star. After their divorce, Hannah went with her father and was spoiled rotten. Her father is the one who introduced her to show business, and although she is really talented, directors and co-stars can't stand her.

Character She's playing: Brynn

Personality: Ray has shown up in a small number of plays here and there, but nothing as large as this. Her acting trademark is her odd ability to play a pessimistic character perfectly, despite her optomistic self. Ray knows exactly what to say and when to say it, making her to go-to person when most of her friends are feeling down.

History: Ray grew up in a large house overlooking the ocean in San Francisco, California. Coming from a rich family, she has known nothing more than all she's wanted, and thus has made her quite frugal in the way she spends her own money. Saving, she believes, is better than spending.

Character She's playing: Sofia

Personality: Delanie can sometimes be very serious, however, she loves to laugh and always loves a good joke. She can often be very full of herself and tend to think she's better than everyone around her, but with a good, stern talking-to, that can easily be undone. She can be a very good friend, a good listener, and loves to help anyone she can. Acting is her very favorite thing to do and she's amazing at it.

History: Ever since she was a little kid, Delanie wanted to be an actress. She saw 'The Lion King' on Broadway, and since, she knew she wanted to act, just like them. She was in the seventh and eighth grade drama club in middle school and the high school drama club from her freshman year to her junior year, when she received the invitation to be in this movie, and she sees it as her 'big break' to do what she's wanted to do since she was a little kid.

We can start when the last two people post their profile. I'll be on holiday for the next ten days tomorrow, so I hope by then, or earlier, we can. Hm, since Phantom of the Potter seems to have mild interest, what do you say about taking charge while I'm gone if this thing decides to start?
