(see history)

They saw there kids as the ones who ruined their lives and stuck them together, which made them like brother and sister. They cared for each other and became like the family they never had. When their mom's decided they needed to leave they left their kids in Raini's moms ratty old apartment and bolted. Raini tries totake care of Blake but it's often Blake who comes to her rescue, much to her demise.
Special: Extremely smart and brave with an insatiable curiousity.

I ran, my arms pumping furiously by my sides. They saw me. I know it and now they were coming. Blake is going to be pissed.
I dodged behind a bush, scraping my knee against the hot, sandy dirt. I tried to steady my breathing, but it proved to be impossible. I was in decent shape but I had just ran a little over two miles. I needed to breathe!
I heard footsteps. Agry footsteps. I knew that sound. It was the sound of pursuit. Someone was after me and by the sound of it, they were close.
It stopped in the middle of the road. The bush I was hiding beneath wasn't even ten feet away. It should hear me. The filthy monster was playing games with me. I took a dagger from my belt. Blake gave it to me and had even taught me how to attack others with it, but I would never be as good as him. Never.
A hand clasped over my mouth and an arm snaked around my waist, pulling me up to it. I bit it's hand. It tasted like salt from sweat and...like a person.
"Raini!" A familiar voice cried. "What the hell?"
I threw my arms around Blake's neck and he pushed me away half-heartedly.
"Quit. You know you're in trouble. Didn't I tell you that you weren't supposed to go out this late? And this far from home? It's not safe. You could have been killed and then I'd have no one. Raini," he sighed, while I just stood there grinning at him.
"Sorry, Blake," I laughed a little. "It's not that your lectures are boring or anything but you treat me like I'm your little sister. We're cousins, Blake. And we're both the same age. Besides I hear the 'We need each other to survive' thingenough as it is. We'll be fine."
A leaf crackled under a shoe behind us. I spun around, pulling the protesting and struggling Blake, behind me. I guess it wasn't over yet.
**Anyone care to join Blake and Raini?

I saw a figure grab a woman from the street into an alleyway and quickly ran down to stop whatever was about to happen. It was bad enough with the monster but were people killing each other now? Or were the monsters now taking human shape. I stepped forward and smacked the figure with the baseball bat clutched in my sweaty fingers.
"Ow!" Cried the figure. "What the hell are you playing at?"
"Me?! You just grabbed that lady out of the street." I shouted incredulously.
"He is my cousin you psycho" screeched the lady.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry. I thought he was a monster. I haven't seen another person in so long."
"Well when you go around hitting people with baseball bats i'm not suprised!" He snapped.
"How about a beer as an apology?" I asked.
"Beer? You have beer? Were running out of food in the city!"
"Really? Well your welcome to come with me to the base. I'm sure there some spare food lying around."
"Base? What the hell are you talking about?"
"I was stationed at an army barracks on the outskirts. Its full of rations incase of an emergency. Its the safest place to be at a time like this, with monster roaming the streets and all."
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.
**Hey, anyone care to help Gemma? She needs to be rescued, as usual...**
Gemma screamed.
She was stuck under a crumbling porch, in as far as she could go, yet it could still reach her. Sweat seemed to pour from her as she kicked out at its reaching claws.
Wanna piece of me? She thought. Gotta get me from under here, you son of a-
She screamed again as one of the claws slashed into her leg. If it kept this up her foot would soon be missing. The porch wasn't strong; the wooden boards about the monster were splintering like feeble matchsticks. Never mind a missing foot; if this thing got any closer that wouldn't be the height of her problems.
"Someone help!" she screamed again. As if anyone would hear her. There was no one in this neighborhood. Even in the abandoned supermarket, which was where she'd been before it lunged out from the freeze section. Some chicken.
Her and her sister were running out of food, so Gemma bravely went to Tesco. Or was it Asda? Didn't matter. It was a place where the monsters hung out. A few years ago the only thing to worry about was a major headache from the screaming kids, now...
It snarled and its claws lashed into her leg again.
Gemma squeezed her eyes shut and tipped her head back, fighting against a whimper of pain.
Ow, ow, ow.
It came closer and she opened her eyes to see its face inches from hers
Jesus, how had it-

"What's your name?" I asked. I didn't trut other people. I just needed to be cautious. Rani, on the other hand, was already thinking of the possibilities. I sighed. Need I always make sure her curiousity didn't get her in trouble?
"Mikael," he grinned at my uspicious look. I nodded.
"I'm Blake and this is my cousin, Raini," I replied. I heard a girl scream in the distance. I turned toward Raini, but she had already taken off. I ran after her. Why wouldn't she just stay behind?
The girl screamed again and I ran faster. There was a monster hvering over a limp figure. I pulled a blade strapped to my ankle and threw it at the monster. It screamed as I watched it lodge in it's ugly back. I smiled. Perfect shot.
The beast ran. It knew it had been fatally wounded. It needed help. Raini was already helping the woman. She had torn the bottom half of her shirt and was tying it around the woman's leg. I walked over and started to help her.
I took out my water bottle and poured a little over the woman's face. She groaned. At least she was waking up. We needed to get out of here.

The man, Blake, suddenly burst off toward a scream before hurling a knife at a creature. As the creature ran i double pumped my shotgun and chased after it, blasting it in the back as it leapt away.
"Blake grab her and follow me. Others will have heard that and the bunker is the safest place to be right now." I swung the shotgun onto my back, picked up the baseball bat and began running full pelt toward an alleyway.
"Are you sure this is the right way?" Asked the lady from earlier. I pulled a dumpster forward revealing a hatch which i quickly dived through.
"Come on, come on there right behind us." Blake blasted past, followed by his lady friend. I dragged the hatch closed just as a heavy weight crashed against the dumpster. The others had paused to look back at me.
"Go, just go!" I yelled.
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.
I stood on the balcony of my apartment and stared at the broken streets below. In the distance, a huge black figure was limping towards the building. A thing of that size could only be a monster. I growled quietly and hurried inside. A silver pistol was hidden in the bottom of a box under my bed. I grabbed it and raced downstairs and outside.
I held the gun straight out away from me and watched the creature between the eyes as it spotted me and made a desperate attempt at running towards me. When it was within range, I fired once. The monster was hit with such force that it did a back flip before landing in its final resting place; in the street, on its hideous face. I grinned with satisfaction.
My smile quickly fell though, when a trio of monsters emerged from building nearby, and a pair from the building across from it. I backed up slowly and kept blasting their tiny brains out, but unfortunately, the gunshots just lured more and more of the creatures from their hiding places in broken and run down buildings.
Before I knew it, there were seven of them following me, and my gun was out of bullets. I tossed it to the side and ran, hoping to get away, but instead, my detour through an alley came to a dead end, surrounded by brick walls on all sides. I turned to see my attackers walking towards me, snarling and growling and drooling and roaring. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea.
I crouched low to the ground as they came closer. My jaw trembled and my teeth clattered together. Usually I didn't get scared like this, but I wasn't usually cornered by disgusting creatures with no hope of escape. When I had crouched as far down as I could, I closed my eyes, knowing that once and for all, this was it.
It was the end.
---
Anyone who's still out there want to save her?
Singing: It's more than my forte; it's my fortissimo --- They say "Guns don't kill people. People kill people." Well, I think guns help. If you just stand there and yell BANG I don't think you're going to kill too many people...
I grabbed the groaning woman in my arms. She was hardly even conscious and based off of the wound on her leg, she wouldn't be able to run anyway.
Raini was following after Mikael blindly. How would she know if we could trust him?
"Raini," I called, stopping. She looked back at me annoyied. So she had noticed how unsure I was of this guy. Good.
"Blake just shut-up and go with it for once. Do you want to live? You can't use your little knives and save the damsels in distress can you? Follow him. Just this once," she replied, hands on her hips. I smiled. She was so stubborn and so...brave. I wish I could be more like her.
"Let's go then," I said, taking off, making sure not to bang the girl in my arms around too much.
Raini
I sighed and started scouting the area. Up ahead a saw a trio of monsters. They seemed gathered around something. Behind me Blake was trying to catch up.
I bit my bottom lip. What if they were harming another human. I couldn't just leave her. I grabbed the dagger strapped to my stomach. I wished I was as good with blades as Blake was, but he needed to take care of the ended woman.
One monster screamed. Whoever it was was putting up a fight. I just hoped it wasn't another, weaker monster. All I knew was I needed to help whoever it was.
I jumped on one monters back and plunged the dagger in it's neck. It wasn't as graceful as I imagined but I was trying all the same. I briefly caught the shape of another human and smiled. Maybe they could help. Another monster screeched. I assumed my assumption was right.
I dug the knife deepeer in it's neck and pulled it up. It threw me off it's back and my head cracked against the floor. I groaned.
"Raini!" I heard Blake call. "Oh my God Raini!" I looked over through my red-black vision. Blake had put the woman down and was running toward me...no the monster. He held two knife and he sliced them through the air so gracefully.
I tried to get up and my head throbbed. I collapsed giving in to the darkness. Blake would save me and the other humans. He was Blake. My cousin and he knew how to work with his blades. So much more than I.

**Oh! I forgot about this Too into that Pets one, WhiteTiger Arya - is it okay how I've pulled you in?**
Gemma felt something wet dripping on her face. The drool of the monster just before it started to devour her?
She jerked into a sitting position, her scream caught in her throat as she realised there was no monster there. Or even the porch. She was laying on cool concrete, in a strange place where there was only a single bulb keeping the shadows at bay.
Where am I? She thought, dazed. Her leg hurt like hell.
"Hey there," said a voice just off to her side.
She turned and saw a group of people. Some standing, some lounging on the floor. She couldn't make out much from this gloom, but she saw they were roughly her age, a little older.
"She's awake?" said another. An eager girl, by the sounds of it.
"I'm Joy," said the first voice. "I've been here for a few days. The monsters busted into my place and Mikey - Mikael - helped get me outta there. Looks like the monsters tried to get you too."
"They almost did."
Gemma looked up at the new speaker - how many people were there here? - And she blushed almost instantly. He was hot. No doubt. Maybe it was because of the weak light, but boy! She opened and closed her mouth like an idiot.
"It's okay," he said, "Jeez, they pretty much mauled your leg." Just great. "No wonder you fainted."
Finally she got her mouth into gear. "I - I'm Gemma."
All-Hotness smiled. "Blake."
"Gemma!" A familiar voice called out. She turned and saw Kaila from upstairs bounding towards her. She looked pretty beat up, covered in scrapes and bruises, and Gemma wondered what happened to her. Then a thought occurred to her. She frowned and scanned the shapes of the others. Someone was missing.
"Megan? Is Megan here?" she asked Kaila.
Joy frowned. "No. Who's she?"
Gemma looked up at Kaila with wide, frightened, eyes as she answered: "My sister. She's still out there."

"I'll get her, Gemma," I said, standing. "Can you tell me where you think she might be?"
"I'm going too!" Raini called. I turned towards her sharply.
"You will do no such thing," I replied. "You were nearly killed by the monsters as it was. You are like my sister, Raini. I won't let you go out."
"So you get to go then?" She asked. I sighed. Raini was too brave for her own good. She needed rules.
"Yes. I am better with blades. As you saw that monster almost ripped you to shreads, as well as Gemma here," I replied. I looked back to the girl. She certainly was pretty. Before the monsters came I might would have flirted with her a little, but I had to be serious now. Raini needed me. I had to keep her and as many others safe.
"Blake," she whined. I shook my head. I had no time for this. Suddenly Raini nodded in agreement. This was very odd. She didn't cave this easy.
"Could I go?" Gemma asked. "I'm the only one who can call my sister out. Besides no one else knows what she looks like."
My eyebrows knit together. "You're leg is too weak. I don't want you coming, is there another way?" I asked.
^^ All you Emma.
