Heh. Here's a bunch of my Disney drawings from the years 2006 to 2008. I tried putting them in a kind of age order, the first being the oldest, but I'm not sure how well I did.

Also, I don't own a scanner, so most of these photos are just plain bad. Hopefully it doesn't matter much.

I think you did really well on these. Some are better than others but still great.

Ok, now for the review.

For the first picture the lions belly just kinda drops. It makes him look kinda fat, but that is an easy fix.

The second one the body is perfect, but the neck is a little bumped out.

Third one, absolutly perfect.

Fourth one, again with the neck.

Fifth one, perfectamundo!

Sixth one, it's great to, I don't see any errors in this one.

Seventh one, ok, well her face looks like she is doing the fishy thing haha. Oh and her body looks kinda anerexic. Just saying.

Eighth one, Tinks eyes look a little weird but otherwise it's all good.

Ninth one, it's all good.

Tenth and final, it looks good, but the hands look a little disfigured.
My reality comes to a close as I once again realize that you don't love me, and even if I love you with my everything you will never care.

Hey Demi :D

I just came across these! Your drawing skills are excellent :) I know who most of the characters are except for the last two, so I can't comment much on them xD I haven't watched any of the movies these characters are from in yonks. :P

Mr. Scanner tends to destroy colour, I think you're best without him ;)

My favourite is Simba at the top. The sky is so pretty and I love his pose :)

Shading seems to be good on most of these, but it's quite subtle so the camera barely picked it up.

These were great :D Thanks for posting them. Me want moar! :P

Demi, whoa!

You're really good! I never knew you drew!

I love the lion king one. It's so cute and adorable and lion-kingish, it's just wonderful.

Ariel is very well drawn; really nice work on the shading. ^_^

Simba and Nala! <3 *steals drawing*

Also love the pencil of Ariel, it's so pretty.

Jasmine is so excellently done! I love the shading on her-- you did it perfectly. It's beautiful.

And Belle! So well drawn! I love how you did the eyes! So pretty!

Ooh Pochahontas! Now I have Colors of the Wind stuck in my head. :P

Tinkerbell! My favorite! She's so cuuute!

I absolutely love the shading on Aurora, it's amazing.

And Eilonwy! I love the black cauldron. Love their expressions here. :P

You should draw Mulan! *nods*

Beautiful work, Demiz. Keep it up. :D

Well, lets see!

Picture Number One, I think you should have used for vibrant colors for the lion.
Picture Number Two, I believe this is a perfect picture of Ariel.
Picture Number Three, I love this picture, but what's with the numbers?
Picture Number Four, Ariel's neck looks a little hunched.
Picture Number Five, Jasmine looks great.
Picture Number Six, Belle looks like she has a lazy eye.
Picture Number Seven, Pocahontas' nose is not very noticable. Other, than that, I love it.
Picture Number Eight, Tinkerbelle's eyes and right foot look a little messed up.
Picture Number Nine, Aurora looks great! The crown looks a tad off.
Picture Number Ten, I've never seen the Black Couldron, but I like it..

Keep up the great work.. :)

OK.
These are good, but i really do hope that they are not traced. I would suggest making the shading more noticable, and also maybe leaning heavier on your pencil, as in Jasmines hair, i can still see white.
I'm sure if you take this on board, you will greatly improve!

Dems, you know I'm a Disney Girl. I absolutely loved those. They look wonderful, other than a couple of things. Picture Four, Ariel's hair looks a bit big. Also, Picture Eight, some detail of the design in Tink's wings would've made the picture pop a lot more. Besides that, they were great. Definitely deserving of a gold star.

Hey! :)

These are great! You're really good at drawing. :] I'm not sure how much help I can be here, but I'll give you my opinion about each piece.

One: I think this is really good - actually, I drew the same image for a math project last year and all I can say is I wish it had turned out this well. :P The only thing I noticed is that his cheek, where his whiskers come out, should be a little more rounded.

Two: This one is pretty perfect. You got her hair down perfectly, just the way I remember it especially in front xD. The only thing I noticed is tthat her neck looks a little thick in contrast to the slimness of the rest of her body.

Three: Pretty good (they're so cute together!), but I find that Nala's snout looks almost deerlike for some reason. :s Maybe you should broaden it a bit?

Four: Again with the neck, and her arm looks odd and almost rubbery, somehow. But other than that it's super-good, especially her face.

Five: I can't find anything wrong with this one ;0 Great work!

Six: Beautiful, very well drawn. Except, what is that brownish shadow along her hairline? :s

Seven: Mmmm. Her face looks too blocky, less delicate than I remember it being, and her left arm seems too stiff somehow. But I love the dress, and the leaves are very pretty. (:

Eight: Cutee. The only thing I noticed is the lack of detail and the wavery lines on her wings - I seem to remember them being kind of shimmery, almost like dragonfly wings.

Nine: It's very pretty, but the dress and her face sem too angular ... maybe it's meant to be that way though? It's been ages since I saw the movie. And her arms seem to thin for her body, but maybe it's like that in the movie too - they always make the disney princesses very slim.

Ten: My definite favourite, I love that movie. Everything about this one is perfect; I love their expressions.

Overall, I think you have a lot of talent. A well deserved gold star - Kudos! :D

Keep up the good work,
- Camille.<3

Those are great! Just a few corrections...
Picture One: His body is a little long.
Two: Nothing's wrong, really
Three: I like the black and white-ness of it.
Four: Her facial expression is a little odd.
Five: Pretty good! I wish I could see it a little better, though. It's a bit blurry.
Six: I couldn't tell what the 'e' in Belle was at first sight, but maybe that's because I'm pretty tired right now.
Seven: As someone above said, her body is a little anorexic looking.

But besides that, all you have to do is color in the white spots and it'll be absolutely amazing!

First off- I just want to say that these are all amazing. Better than anyone I could have ever done. You look like you were actually the lead animator for these characters.

Ok, now for the review.

Demeter wrote:Simba. Watercolours and um... colour pencil thingies, whatever they're called. (2006)

Okay, number one. It's pretty good, but I think your texture and stuff might be a little off. Try using more solid colors. Also, Simba looks very, very outstretched, like he's the stretch girl from the fantastic 4. Because Believe me, I don't think lions get that long. For this, you could probably use a trick I learned in math. Draw a rectangle. This will be where the feet and but and tail go. Draw another rectangle about 5 inches apart, but make it so it's sort of forward and diagonal from the other rectangle. This will be where the head and chest and front feet go.

Demeter wrote:Ariel. Colour pencils. (2007)

Okay, this is really amazing. The only thing I have to say is working on shading a little bit more. In your drawing, pick a light source where the light will be shining on. Let's say, Ariel's mouth. This part will have practically no shading , and you get darker and darker as you move away from the source.

Demeter wrote:Simba and Nala. Pencil. (2007)

Image

I like the texture / medium of this drawing, but I suggest you make Simba smaller and make his hair a little bit shorter, and make Nala a little bigger. Because when I first saw this drawing, I thought it was Simba and Mufasa. And work on the shading I talked about with Ariel.

Demeter wrote:Another Ariel. Pencil. (2007)

Image

See my review for the first Ariel.

Demeter wrote:Jasmine. Colour pencils. (2007)

Jasmine's body looks a little distorted, out of proportion. She was a wider face and overall a wider a body. Also, her pant's don't have a parting for the sleeves. So yea, for this one I just recommend that you actually study a picture of Jasmine rather then just do it from memory. Also, Her nose isn't so long and thin.

Demeter wrote:Belle. Colour pencils. (2007)

Image

This one is probably perfect. I like how you shaded and used the light source stuff that I talked about, but I do have one problem. Her dress appears to be too yellow. Maybe you could shade a little lighter, or use a paler shade?

Demeter wrote:Pocahontas. Colour pencils and um... the inkish colour pen stuffs? (2008ish)

Image

I do have a few problems with this one. For one thing, Her body is completely out of proportion compared with her face. Either make the face smaller or her body bigger.
Her Hair - She doesn't have white highlights. I know Her Hair Black and It's hard, but maybe what you should do is shade her hair a dark dark brown or gray and then add the black as where the hair parts and stuff.
She has no legs - Just make sure they are shaded in a little bit better, and that goes with the rest of the body.

Demeter wrote:Tinkerbell. Colour pencils. (2008)

Image

This one is good, but you should probably shade Tink's body in.

Demeter wrote:Aurora. Colour pencils. (2008)

Image

Again, Aurora's face appears to be a little bit out-of proportion. I'm pretty sure she has a wider face, and wide eyes and they aren't tilted so far inward. She also has brown eyes, not aqua green. If you do this again, make sure to study a picture of her.

Demeter wrote:Taran and Eilonwy (from the Black Cauldron). Watercolour pencils. (2008)

Well, I haven't seen The Black Cauldron, so I don't really thing I can review this one. It is very well drawn, however.

Overall

These are amazing, Dementer. When I first saw these, I mistook you as an animator at Disney ^o^ Keep up the amazing work!

Demeter! these are great! and i love that you love disney movies as much as i do, haha. these are really good pictures. especially the one of simba :) the only thing i would point out is the shading of your drawing. i can see it's done well, i just think maybe the quality of your colored pencils take away from them. like in the picture of belle, i can tell you know what you're doing, but there's a lot of white, and with more professional pencils i think it would make it look just that much better. anyways, you're definatley very talented.
what's great about being a teenager is that you can change yourself as much as you like and nobody will say anything because they'll equate it to being a part of growing up
