Very nice use of headroom!

Hey, it's dreamwalker here with a few helpful hinters for your photography!

Okay so, like I said before, one of the things I first realized that was brilliant about these two pieces were the successful use of headroom. It gives it a more professional look and I give you props for that.

The next thing I liked about both was the vivid colours. The extreme blue flecked with yellow was intense and the green, unfocused background added to the visual dynamics. A bravo from me.

Third thing I liked about this piece was, in fact, the focus. The flowers look so intense because of the focusing so I give you another props on that.

Now some things to fix up.

Photo 1:

This picture is too low on the screen. There is plenty room between the yellow and the top of the picture but it feels was too low. There is headroom visible so the best way to keep the headroom doing it's job is to remember the rule of thirds and bring it up just a smidge.

There is also a small bit of yellow that is unfocused. To a person who does not really care for photography it would go unnoticed but to a professional it would be a mighty blunder. To someone like me, it's a little mistake that doesn't take much away from the whole piece.

Photo 2:

This is by far, my favourite of the two. The water droplet was brilliant as was the colours and just brilliant, but I must help critique it so I should take my head out of the gutter XD.

Okay so this picture is either a) too high or b) too low. Why, you ask? Because moving it higher will give the focus to the water droplet, in which case you would have to focus the camera in mostly on the droplet. The flower would be in a closer range but it would also blend well with the grass. Having it lower would give the focus to the petals as well giving a more dynamic shot.

Brilliant colours and an interesting shots!

Fraaaagile! Your photography has gotten better!

I love the first one. I would say that the details could be sharper, but blame that on the camera. They don't always like to capture sharpness excellently.

In the second one, I think you should have a sharper focus. Not sure if you used a macro mode, but the rain drop is the only area of focus here.

Unlike Dreamwalker I like the first one more. The second one is a common angle and the details aren't as precise; the first comes off more unique.

Nice, I like the first picture best. The angel is much better. The flowers have bloomed and you really captured the beginning of summer in these pictures. The colours are fantastic, they are just so vibrant. The flower is so unique. The yellow bulbs or pollen things just make the picture. The splash of yellow is very cool. The photography is so accurate that I can even see the small little hairs and fuzz on the flower. The water droplet on the second flower, is captivating. It takes some talent to capture an image like that. I assumed that you used digital maco? I do agree with dreamwalker. The first picture needs better placement.
Yet again, of course, you involved some writing. The phrases or captions are brilliant.
Over All I really like, guess photography is something you can add to your list of things your total amazing at.
