Floating Castles

So this is my first storybook and it's all about Gods and Goddesses.

There is a castle in a cloud, high in the sky, owned by the immortals (Gods and Goddesses) A group of these G & Gs live there and they represent a certain thing. E.g Goddess of Rain. God of power. Goddess of truth. God of shadows. That sort of thing. What they represent they can control or see.

Rough Guideline: Then there is a disaster. Lord Khan, the creator and leader of all immortals, falls ill. Obviously he can't die from it, but the illness makes him very weak. Sehre, God of Darkness, sees his chance and sends a demon to steal the Yujin Emerald, the source of life itself. If the immortals are away from the Yujin Emerald too long they become mortal and die. Luckily, the demon is stopped before it escapes with the Emerald, but Sehre is desperate to get it and sends demon after demon to attempt to steal it.

About: Floating Castles is about a team of Gods & Goddesses who are called in to stop Sehre and protect the Yujin Emerald, and, while doing this, face the challenge of working as a team. Obviously we HAVE to have those who aren't going to get on and those who are best friends for ever, like a normal, human, team.

So, if you are a G & G who lives in the castle, could you start the day the demon took the emerald, but was killed before it could escape. What your character experienced that day.
And if you were called in to help, could you describe how you got the call, who came to get you etc.

Rules!

Okay, I know this is about Gods and Goddesses, but please could we keep the characters a little realistic, as in flawed personalities and such. Anyone perfect in every way will be shot by me. Mwaa ha ha.
No swearing! I'll allow little things like: damn and stuff like that.
No sex scenes! Really people...
No more than 4 characters per person.

Title: Lady Aria of Beauty

Age they look: 21
Appearance: Aria has soft wavy hair that comes down to her waist. It's a lovely colour: auburn. She's medium height. She has light blue eyes and china doll skin. Has an air of fragility about her.
Personality: Innocent. Naive. Gullible. But she's lovely and kind and sincere.
They represent: Beauty. She can see the beauty in everyone and everything. Unfortunately, this prevents her from being a good judge of character as she cannot recognise the darkness of a person's soul.
History: She is Lord Khan's only child. Her mother, Lady Julayla of Snow, died because she was unable to get back to the Yujin Emerald in time.
Other: Up for love. She is in charge of the Yujin Emerald's protection due to her father's illness.

Name: Cypher
Title: Lord of War
Gender: Male
Age they look: 28
Appearance: Medium length shaggy blonde hair, deep red eyes brimming with power, ripping muscles covered by iron half plate
Personality: Short tempered with immense fury, he is like raw testosterone crossed with big can of whup ass. When calm is a highly intelligent statitician.
They represent: War
History: Since the dawn of time man has coveted what another had. War is the embodiment of those feelings. Anger, death, lust, conquest, all these things created War. A deity of death of destruction. The ultimate soldier.
Other: When in battle he wears a helmet with a grim crimson visage. He weilds a large spiked warhammer or his flaming sword.
Up for love if you can get past the testosterone fuelled insanity.

***I'm actually a realm leader in another storybook, on another website. This should be just as fun. But I have a question: could I possibly have two characters, Sehre and another? If not, I'll delete the other.***

Name: Sehre (SEH-ruh)
Title: Lord Sehre of Darkness
Gender: male
Age they look: 30
Appearance: Sehre is tall and resembles a muscular snake. Basically, he's black; dark skin and jet black hair, cut close in a military mohawk. However, his eyes are red. He wears jet black robes.
Personality: He is very selfish and twisted; if it does not benefit him in some way, he doesn't even attempt it...whatever the event may be.
They represent: Evil. There is no purity in his soul; he is the definition of solid, incurable darkness. To him, love does not exist.
History: He is jealous of Lord Khan's power. He always has been. He has been biding his time until his chance to act comes around, and it finally did. Lord Khan fell ill. Now, Sehre's life revolves around becoming the only god, the all-powerful.
Other: So not up for love. (Of course.) He is in charge of all demons.



Name: Ioan (EE-ohn)
Title: Lord Ioan of Lightning
Gender: male
Age they look: 21
Appearance: Tall and well-toned, you would think of him as a sprinter. His hair is golden blond and is kept in a shaggy spike. His eyes are amber with a touch of gold, and his skin is moderately tan.
Personality: He is very quick-tongued and fast-paced. He gets easily impatient, and likes to play; playing, in his terms, means dashing about the castle randomly and starting lightning storms. On occassion, he can be angered, particularly when it comes to his friends and family; it takes a lot to calm his down again and he will be lethal until then.
They represent: Lightning. Lightning is very fast, very spontaneous, and very dangerous.
History: He doesn't care too much about the past. In Ioan's mind, all that concerns him is the present.
Other: Up for love.

Age they look: Late 20's.
[b]Appearance: Luxe is tall, willowy and pale with silvery blonde hair and a shining aura. She has deep blue/green eyes that seem to swirl with different colours. She has large wings and elegant features. She dresses in a long, flowing blue dress and usually has flowers adorning her hair.
Personality: She has a light, straightforward manner. She is easy going and amiable but is not bubbly but down to earth. She can seem complicated however. She can usually persuade you to do anything.
They represent: Water, and creatures of the water.
History: Will Write later.
Other: She fights her battles with a bow and arrow and has a deadly shot. Up for Love.

Name: Tisiphone
Title: Lady of Vengeance
Age They Look: Late Twenties-Early Thirties.
Appearance: Can take on the appearance of anything, only the clear of conscience can see her for who she really is, but she is recognisable by her white eyes that are spotted with pin-pricks of black.
Personality: Mysterious and vague. This one rarely speaks, and it's more likely for her to throw herself off a cliff than smile. She is clever and crafty, and usually impulsive. She never thinks before she acts, and always takes life as it comes to her. She's fierce and deadly, and can twist people to her will easier than breathing.
They Represent: Revenge.
History: Will Write Later.
Other: She fights with a spear that radiates a red aura and has two serpents intertwining up it. Up for love.

Name: Palaeron
Title: Lord of Honour
Gender: Male
Age they look: Early 30's
Appearance: Palaeron has the appearance of a healthy and physically fit middle-aged man. He is tall and well muscled. He has pale skin, long(ish), brown hair and grey eyes. He usually wears a golden suit of armour and a lond red cape.
Personality: Honourable, kind, generous, idealistic. Sometimes appears to be nieve, and trusts others too easily.
They represent: Heroism and the ideals of honour, chivalry, etc. He is the patron god of heroes acting for the greater good, but he generally disapproves of heroes acting for glory, power and riches.
History: Palaeron is one of the two children of Chetoron, the original patron god of heroes. Chetoron disappeared shortly after his childrens' births, and left them and his wife Phollosia. Chetoron's fate is unknown (it is generally agreed that he embarked on a quest from which there is no end), so his children have adopted different aspects of what he once represented.
Other: Palaeron is an excellent combatant, though he does have his superiors (I shall assume, for example, that Cypher, being the god of war, is a better fighter). He fights with a golden bow and spear.

Name: Ektorion
Title: Lord of Glory (he sometimes refers to himself as the Lord of Courage, but this title is disputed by some of his rivals who see him more as being merely reckless)
Gender: Male
Age they look: Early 20's
Appearance: Ektorion is virtually identical to his brother, with the exception that he looks younger and has shorter, curly blonde hair. He does not wear armour, as he considers it to be cowardly and victory without it is all the more glorious.
Personality: Charismatic, courageous, cunning. Is somewhat selfish, big-headed and draws a lot of unnecessary attention to himself. He makes a good leader, but he can be irritating.
They represent: Heroism and the ideals of glory, power, etc. He is the patron god of heroes with 'big personalities'.
History: Ektorion is Palaeron's brother and son of Chetoron and Phollosia.
Other: Ektorion is a far more skilled combatant than his brother, though there are still other gods who can match him in combat. He fights with a long sword.

Name: Lutha
Title: Lady Lutha of Deceitfulness
Gender: Female
Age they look: 11 or 12
Appearance: Except for her strong, square jaw Lutha is very sweet-looking. Much to her annoyance, everyone constantly fusses over her. She has dark brown, curly hair and dark, lively eyes. she quite short - like an imp.
Personality: An imp is certainly how you'd describe her. Lutha is very easy to irritate, and she doesn't hold back when she'd angered. She isn't afraid of hurting other's feelings; more likely than not, it's what she aims to do. She has a short fuse. She is irritated that she is stuck in the immortal body of an 11 year old when she is mentally the same age as the others.

They represent: Deceitfulness. Lutha is very good at lying. She is equally good at recognising if she's being lied to. If someone is lying to her then I wouldn't like to be them.
History: Both her parents died and she has lived in the castle for all her life.

Malk has dark black shaggy usually shaped in an extravagant way, inclusing being spiked messily in the back. He does indeed have a silver nose piercing like the picture, but wnat differs from the pictures in indeed his skin tone and clothing.

Malik's skin tone is a dark shade, of almost a perfect tan yet it seems like a caramel colour can be seen in certain lighting. He leaves his chest bare so that he can reveal the silver and gold ornaments he wears, including an array of piercings, and a black tattoo that lines across his stomach, cruving gently below his stomach. The words are barely decipherable, in their black curvasious calligraphy. They inscript 'Panton vadum exsisto mei quod mei tantum.' That means, everything shall be mine and mine only.

For the clothing, look at this picture.. Focus on the bottom dress thingy. I have no idea what they are called, but he wears that over his legs, but instead of yellow, it is blue and black. He wears extravagant jewllery, including multiple bracelts on each wrist and two golden anklets on one foot. Malik walks around barefoot.

Remember, he is thin and small. His head is slightly larger also because he after all looks like a fourteen year old.

Personality:
Malik actually means 'King' in english and he thinks of himself exactly like that. He is the only one who could possibly be the Lord of Greed because his whole being is selfish, and he only does things if they will be an advantage for himself. He is incredibly analytical, can be extremely smart at times but is angered easily if he doesn't get things his way. When he is angered, he is a force to be reckogned with, especially with the gigantic scythe he wields. The scythe is actually fairly taller then him.

He can be neglegent and people may think that nothing good would ever come out of a being like him, and that is parcially true because the only person who has seen him when he was down or actually doing something nice for once was his own sister. He only loves his sister, she is the only one he will even trust. But with the trust is hatred. That is because when they were cremated to become Gods, he had prevailed to maturity, and yet his sister was already a womanling even though we the same age.

They represent:
Greed at its finest. He converts people into sin because he wants them to be concealed at the same fate as him, every action he conducts them like puppets until greed would ultimate consume them and they would commit sacrilege.

History:
Malik and his sister Akira were always together even at birth. They lived in the human years for 16 years, preforming sins and challenging the gods. Malik himself founded the desire for everything, and everything in its entirity. It did not matter if he has no use for it while others lives were dependant on it, he would still take it away for himself. His sister matured faster then him, becoming more and more womanly, indowing her into the womanly features.

They came, males watched her as she walked through the streets, yet he wanted their attention, he wanted them to notice him and be mystified at his own glory, and his cunning. Greed forsaked him and he killed his own sister. As soon as the authorities found out, they killed him by hanging, a sixteen year old boy, looking merely a child of fourteen. They showed no mercy for someone of his kind.

In the afterlife, he was snagged and drawn into the heavans, in a vortex of swirling spirits all calling for him to take them with him, to save them from the endless torment. Seeing them, and considering that if he took them with him, he might not actually be able to survive and be happy, he left them all wailing for the rest of enternity.

In the heavans, he was brought into a courtyard of a marvelous floating castle. But there standing before him was his sister and a king of some sort. The spoke and said he was a malicious being, but they would give him a second chance. He was then made into an immortal, a God of somesorts, forced to watch the people below, tainting them for his own satisfaction.

Other:
He is indeed up for love, but I doubt any of you are interested.

Akira looks moderately like the main picture of her hair with minor details. Her skin instead of the pale white is darkly tanned and takes on a slight caramel or golden colour in certain light. Her cheek bones are little higher, and her lips a deep shade of crimson. Her beautiful vibrant green eyes seem to draw peoples attention.

Everything about her is supposed to be alluring. Her eyes are so attention seeking, so mystifying that they could bewilder almost everyone, and she had long luxious lashes. She has a more womanly buid, curvascious and appealing to almost anyones eyes. The womanly endowments peeking out at the top edge of her dress can draw nearly any man into sin again. She looks elegant and beautiful, a stunning red ruby laying around her collar bone perfectly and beautifully. She looks almost perfect.

Even her scent is alluring, the mixture of cinnamon and a soft mellow sweet smell. At different points, she can even smell like lilacs, or flowers, but mostly it is the deep and sharp smell of spices.

Her clothing resembles this picture. Except for some minor details. The shoulder cloth thingy is not there and the front is design to be a tad bit more lower to reveal her beautiful collar bone, and more of her cleavage. The colouring of the clothing is red and black, almost complementary to her brothers. She too wears nothing on her feet.

She wears two matching gold anklets on her left ankle to match her brother.

Personality:
The name Akira in english can mean anchor. And that is one kind of trait she seems to dwell on. Sh is hard to pursuay and can easily pursuay others, using different strategies to gain whatever she needs. She is almost inmovable if she wants to be which makes her impractical and stubborn at times.

She is soft spoken, words always polite and mannered nicely. She never purposly says a mean words about anyone, except her brother. She looks at people through her eyelashes, enjoying the attention and their peeling eyes. She can just imagine their thoughts when they see her and it gives her great enjoyment to know what she does to people.

She too is very analytical like her brother but uses her analogies in ways to pursuay and to get her farther to her one goal. She does not use her abilities to flaunt herself like her brother does, one of the main differences between the too. She can seem like she means good, when meanwhile she is only wanting to destroy them. She is definetely not trustworthy, yet she will keep a secret.

She does not like being alone that is for sure.

They represent:
Lust and desire in its enirety. She leads so many men into countless sin, befuddling their senses as they walk by human girls. She plays with them like puppets enjoying it at every moment of it. She also moderately represents vainity because she loves to see herself, and certainly loves mirrors.

History:
Akira and her brother were together from birth, and for sixteen years they raged mayhem in their small settlement. At twelve she started to mature so at the tender age of sixteen she looked like a full-fledged woman, drawing many peoples attention, basking in their glory. She could tell her brother did not like this very much, but she did not know how much it would actually take a toll on him.

Suitors came and went, lavishing her in luxury, begging her for just one simple peck on their cheek to satisfy their inner hungry. She would laugh merrily and say that there could possibly be a better offer. Their eyes on her, their hungering for her presence made her mad with frenzy, the lust was just what she wanted.

One one foul night, a suitor came into her quarters, horrifyingly drunk. He held a knife in his hands and was rambling like an idiot claiming to that if anyone was to have her no one can. He approached her staggeringly, when all of a sudden the door opened and in came another suitor wondering if it was too late to give her a present. Seeing the other with a knife he panicked and they got into a brawl. ending with the drunk man dead, the knife in the others hand.

"I am so sorry m'lady." The one with the present kept on saying staring at the dead man spilling blood on the ground. Akira just took the knife from the man's hand and to his horror slid her finger along the flat part an got the blood off of it, settling her finger into her mouth. He backed up and she herself killed the man with that very knife, his so called present falling out of his hand and onto the ground settling in the blood. It was a beautiful red ruby pendant.

She went to see her brother the next day with the jewel on her neck and him already knowing where it came from, killed her there. In the afterlife, she was dragged up from the depths and placed in a courtyard. A voice spoke;

'You are too beautiful to be wasted.' She was made into a godess, but she still begged for them to find her brother when she heard of his death. And so there, both of them with no allegiance to either Sethe or Khan surrounding by a castle filled with immortal people, ruining and saving peoples lives.

Other:

Just a note, her and her brother are the newest editions to the gods and were actually mainly experiments to see what would happen if they took spirits from the human world and made them into gods.

Name: Namason
Title: Lord of Judgement
Gender: Male
Age they look: Mid-30s
Appearance: He is a heavily built man, broad shouldered and imposing. He has shoulder length black hair with streaks of grey in it, and dark brown eyes. He appears to be even heavier than the lord of war, although there is no question that his speed would be therefore lacking. He wears gleaming armour covered with a thin layer of gold.
Personality: Namason sees things in black and white. He operates on the basis of a kind of universal code of laws, and believes that the ends definitely do not justify the means. He is not one to change his position easily, and once he has 'condemned' someone personally, he makes it his mission to bring them to justice. While he can be merciful, and few of his punishments involve death, if he is in doubt as to how harsh he should be, he will always err on the side of heavy-handedness.
They represent: Judgement and justice. Whereas Tisiphone represents a kind of personal justice, Namason frequently comes into conflict with her on the basis that revenge isn't necessarily just.
History: Namason was born to account for the misdeeds of men. Injustices in the world meant led to the development of codes of law, and Namason came to represent a kind of ultimate law, one which people prayed to when in need of justice. He believes that the order under Khan should be preserved, and has made it his personal mission to protect Lady Aria and the Yujin Emerald.
Other: Not up for love.

Name: Tosien
Title: Lord of Sleep
Gender: Male
Age they look: 20

Personality: Tosien's personality is essentially split. There is Tosien the dream maker, who is quiet, but friendly. This Tosien is kind, generous, and wants to make sure that people around him are happy. While he says little and tends to blend into the background, he seems to brighten the room a little just by being present. Then, there is his counterpart, who makes nightmares. This one is by no means 'evil', he just sees a necessity to pain and suffering, and believes that one cannot truly live without it. While not evil, he is also not good, and his quietness is a little chilling.
They represent: Sleep, dreams and nightmares. The realm of the sleeping mind is Tosien's domain, more or less his to do with as he will. He can also cause someone to fall asleep.
History: Tosien is the son of Sehre and an unknown goddess. His birth did not mark the beginning of sleep in the mortal realm, but rather the beginning of dreaming. Due to dreams seeming to be most potent in children, Tosien always retained a slightly childish look, although he always appeared to be a troubled child. His knowledge that Sehre fathered him has always haunted him, as he could always see the malice of him, and feared the possibility of becoming like him. He also harbours a little hatred for his parents, as he believes neither loved him - his father loves nothing, and Tosisn realised therefore that whatever the relationship with his mother had been, it had not been love. Moreover, since his mother apparently abandoned him, he believes that she couldn't have loved him either.
Other: Up for love. The two 'halves' of Tosien sometimes appear at the same time, but never part company with each other.

Hey, is anyone willing to be a secret traitor? Someone who sneaks off to Sehre to tell him the latest plan of defence. That would be great.
