One of the writing tips I've picked up recently is to have a critique partner for my writing. This would invole going through each other's works before publishing, encouraging and helping development in the writing style, checking spelling and grammar if your word-processer doesn't, etc. I don't have any prominent works right now, but it's better to be prepared, right? Obviously in exchange for this I would be happy to help you out as well. I'm not looking for any more than, say, three, but if you're interested post that-a-ways (vvvvv) and I'll be in touch.
Thankyous

I haven't written much lately, most of what I've been doing has been planning, plotting, and character/world building, but yes it's good to be prepared.

Actually, that's pretty much what the whole of YWS is for. ^^
What happens is you post the first little bit of your novel. Only about 1,500 words, and get a bunch of critiques on it. Then you pick your favourite and, with their consent, ask if they can look over your novel as you work on it. They're usually very happy to return the favour on your novel or your short stories. A writer is a world trapped in a person— Victor Hugo
Ink is blood. Paper is bandages. The wounded press books to their heart to know they're not alone.
Right, as they said, this is nearly the whole point of YWS!
If you look in the welcome forum, you'll see a sticky titled The Buddy System; there you can find a mentor-- a person who will help you out and review everything of yours in an agreed amount of time.
And of course, the [active] mentors there are pretty skilled in critiquing, so they could critique your work and give you helpful tips on reviewing and such. Check it out, and message one of them!
Just see if you have something in common with one of them, or see if you'd like to talk to one and PM away. If you can't find one, feel free to PM me. I'd love to mentor you.

*gasp* :O June is my writing mentor/coach/grammar expert xD But don't worry, she's free after this month, unless query letters take longer than expected =_=
If you'd like, I'm happy to help you with your writing too. I have nothing to do but wait during July X_x

You cannot dream yourself into a character; you must hammer and forge yourself into one.
The writer, when he is also an artist, is someone who admits what others don't dare reveal.
Thank you all very muchly, I appreciate it. ^-^ When I next have something I need looking over I'll let you know. I'll be happy to help you out as well.
I'll be seeing you around.
