I remember, far in some distant dream
When Earth was lit by awesome splendor, too,
When holy men did shine in brightest gleam
As bells in towers struck their chords as true.
I remember ‘twas ere the night had fell
And men still spoke of many things to come,
As people praying harkened to the bell,
Prepared to meet with grace their Lord’s kingdom.
I remember those days of innocence,
When men built temples out of childish love,
When all aligned in some awesome balance,
The days of prayer, pure as the whitest dove.
For days of virtue to relive again,
I would endure the burden of all pain.

That was...interesting. I dont really know if I like it or not. The rhyming seems a bit force, but its alright.
Gotta a find a woman be good to me,
Who won't hide my liquor, try to serve me tea.

I don't really feel any emotion in reading this poem. It almost seems like you (correct me if I'm wrong) had an idea, but couldn't put it into words that would express what you felt.
I love your wording, though. You used good descriptive words, but they didn't seem to portray the right meaning. See what you can do with it, or leave it as it is; it's your poem.
Never interrupt your enemy when he's making a mistake... unless it's to remind him that he won't fail... he just won't kill you.

Patience is the strength of the weak, impatience is the weakness of the strong.
