Anevie

i gave a huge yawn before my eyes opened. I scratch the back of my neck tiredly before i noticed that Lee and Jason has left me.

i gave a sighed before is tood up.

"When i told them that i do not want to be the first to leave. I did not mean that they should leave me here!"

i looked abck to see if the party was still going and i was glad that there were some people with the last moment of talk.

I went inside with a yawn and noticed a girl writing on what seems to be a music book.

i walked up to her and greeted her but she only gave me a stern greet. I shrug before i sat opposite her and with my tired mood, i began having a quick nap.
John McClane: Drop it. It's the police.
Tony: You won't hurt me.
John McClane: Oh, yeah? Why not?
Tony: Because you're a policeman. There are rules for policemen.
John McClane: Yeah. That's what my captain keeps telling me

My jaw nearly touched the ground when the girl started to sleep. Then I turned back to my music. She didn't bother me at first, but soon it started to unnerve me. I couldn't be sure whether she was asleep or not or if she was watching me. It was a trouble I had with sleeping people ever since...

Shaking the memories away, I stood up. My notebook hit my leg and I looked down. I was shaking. Clenching the pencil in my other fist, I tried to calm myself. Letting out a very shaky breath, I started for the door. I needed freash air to clear my head.

On my way, I accidentally ran into a girl and her drink spilled all over her. Her glare felt like knives shoving themselves into my own contact-covered eyes. Normally, I would be giving her the exact same look, but in my current state, I couldn't do anything but stare in disbelief. She started calling me things as she and her friends frantically tried to clean up the mess.

When I didn't go for napkins and apologize a million times, she just looked angrier. The movment she made was a blur but, somehow, I ended up on the floor. It took a few seconds to realize that she'd shoved me. It made me a little mad, calming my shaking a bit.

The music was still sending vibrations through everyone, but now several eyes were on me, a few voices cruely laughing. The laughing didn't bother me, it never has, but the eyes were killing me, giving me so many unwanted memories that I though I'd buried so deep that it could never come forth again.

I shut my eyes, also shutting out everything. This made her laugh even harder. I stayed on the ground, hoping.

Lee~

I was waiting for Jason to repley about my life when my phone rang. "Why would June be calling?" I muttered as I answered it. "Hi."

"Hey Lee Juda left me could you pick me up?" she asked.

"Sure where are you?" I answered after she replied I turned to Jason "Sorry I got to go." I replied as I jumped up. "Hope I see you around." I called as I headed to my car.

*The only thing I could think of to add drama are dumb but I might as well put them since no one else is.

1) a shooting at school
2) a tornado
3) some weird cereal killer

June~~

*im changing perspective for her**

I smiled at people who talked to me, this cheerleader was popular and the guy next to her I didn't know. The girl didn't really actually notice me she kind of just directed her comment to BAstian. Eyes drifting, I looked around to see the pulse of music move people. We were in the dead center, I could see every point of the large room over the amount of heads. A saw a red head sprint. Jude? What was the matter, but he had the look of like he din't want to be bothered so I let him be. From the direction of which he had sprinted I eyed my enemy.

Well my only one really. You see she had dated Jude a while back when we first moved here, she hadn't been the best to him.

Macy Gilliger, her drink was spilled all over her pretty white short dress. A girl was backing away, mouth not open to apoligise.

"This is June!" Bastian's comment filled my ears.

"Hi," It took me a a moment to recuperate.

"Oh my god," Some one said next to me and I followed their wary eyes along with others. Macy giliger was now screaming at the untalking girl. Her friends attempting to hold her back. The girl was backing up attemting to run but she was trapped in by the group of people.

"June!" Bastian's voice was far behind me.

Soon I pushed myself into the circle.

"No touchy!" Not my best line but I stood strong in front of the quiet one.

Surprise coursed through me. No, it was more than surprise, it was full out shock. No one had ever bothered to stand up for me before. And standing in this wrath...it took some guts. I gazed at the girl's back, wondering whether to feel relief or anger, so I compromised and felt both.

"Move it, Martin." The girl hissed, her friends clawing at her arms so she didn't do anything stupid.

"Eh...no." My protector said, fists clenching.

"I said, "move it!" The girl screamed, trying to lunge at her. Thank goodness her friends were there or she would have been toast.

Then a thought passed through my head. All of this was over a dress and an accident. It was ridiculous. So I did what you were supposed to when ridiculous things happen:

I laughed. Not the smartest move I ever made.

"What are you laughing at?!" The girl screamed.

I didn't speak but for some reason my eyes fell on her and she managed to get one hand away from her as she lunged for me, trying to get around the girl she'd called Martin.

"No!" The protector said, moving to intercept her. Her arm got clawed in the process and I saw some blood. My laughing stopped then. The blood was in the same place...

Staring at the screaming girl, I had one thought; she was like him. My eyes turned into daggers throwing themselves into her head. Someone broke through the crowd and tried to break everyone up. I didn't move.

Jason

I sighed a little as I watched Lee walking to her car, and knowing Anevie had disappeared somewhere inside. Well, it seemed that I was back where I'd started again. Stuck in a new town, at a party where I didn't know anyone, with the only people that I did know either not at the party or nowwhere to be found.

"Hope I see you around." Called Lee as she hopped into her car. The engine revved, and then the car pulled away.

I watched the taillights disappearing around the corner, speaking softly as I returned to my less relaxed self again, "Yeah...same."

When I headed back inside, I saw, to my horror, that a circle had formed around a few people - all girls. One was standing there, a deadpan expression on her face. Her eyes were hard, though, and she looked as though she was trying to bore holes in the other girl's head with her gaze. To be honest, I was surprised she hadn't yet. The other girl was being held back by two of her friends, struggling against them with a rabid expression on her face and a stain on her otherwise white dress. The final girl was standing between them, clearly trying to keep the peace. Blood trickled from a scratch-wound on her arm.

I pushed through the group. It probably wasn't the best idea, what with me being a new kid and all, but someone had to do something before either the rabid girl broke free, or her opponent went for her throat. "Hey, come on girls, calm down," I said, looking from one to the other, then to the one struggling against her friends. "This is over a dress, right? That'll wash out, so what're you so worried about?"

"The least she could do is apologise!" She screamed at me, "She made this mess, why can't she just say sorry?!"

I looked around the circle, not seeing any forthcoming possibility of help. Well, I was fine at talking myself out of socially awkward situations. Could I do something similar here?

"Who the hell are you, anyway?" She kept raving, "Were you even inv-?"

"Yeah, I was." I said, cutting her off, and cursing myself for getting involved in this mess, "Ask Bastian, if you really want to look him in the eye right now. This is his mum's restaurant, remember? You think he'd appreciate you trying to kill someone over a spilt drink here? Why don't you just try and think things through a little, I doubt she meant to spill a drink on you." I pointed to the still-fuming girl behind me, and hoped against hope that the two of them would calm down soon.

**Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Grounded. ):

Bastian

I saw Naomi with June and Jason standing over her. I helped her off the floor and gave her a quesetioning look. AS it turned out she didn't need to explain. Jason was calmly handling everything. I grinned at him. Good ole Jason. I turned back to Naomi. I was glad she came.

"I didn't think you were coming," I said. She shrugged.

"You asked. Besides I wasn't going to miss out on the music. Good songs, by the way," she smiled a little. I could tell she wasn't used to being the center of attention and that last little incident had probably shaken her up.

"Right. This is okay but my mom made me leave my Ipod at home. I was going to plug it up here and we would have really good music then," I laughed.

I looked back to Jason and June. It seems that most of the arguement was over.

"You guys probably don't know each other, do you? Well Naomi this is Jason, and this is June."

Jude~~

Jude raged, his emotions twisting and spinning like an out of control cyclone. He went to get punch for this new person and then bam! HE runs into her, his sister's despise and his old obssession, Macy. She had said that thing she alway's said when she saw him, "Oh it's you." No hi's not even an apology for what she did, nothing can erase what she did. And what made it better she was now dating full time the one he despised, his old best friend.

The fire headed boy inside and out ran into someone.
*ANYONE*

June~

As the crowd around us started to thin back into what was the dance, I smiled at the new guy who I saw talking to Lee earlier.

"Hi," I chirped smiling as Bastian introduced me to both Naomi and Jason.

"You want to clean that up?" Bastian asked peering down at the cut.

"Oops didn't notice that!" I looked down at the trickleing blood and looked back up smiling. I was thinking of how I was making Macy squirm because of my laughter.

I woke up steadily and strecthed my hands. Finally that was what i called a cat nap. I looked around and was a little puzzled to what had happened. First of all, the dance was a little awkward and there was a sense of suspiscion among the people.

"Uh...this i miss anything?" i whispered before someone called my name. I put my glasses and saw Bastian and Jason waving at me and i waved back.

"Oh there she was, sleeping..." Jason said as i noticed a familiar girl besie him as well some unkown boy.

"Do you know her?" Naomi asked Jason.

"Uh...did i missed anything?" i repeated asking

"No, you did not..." Bastian said with a hint of a chuckle.

"are you sure becasue i sense a presense of moodiness around us." i said before i stretched again and gave a large yawn, "oh well, did anyone left already."

"Yeah, Lee and some of the otehrs. I guess you were right that you do not want to be the first to leave." Jason joked before Bastian introduced me to the girl, Naomi and the new guy known as Jude.

I yawned again and someone asked me if i want a lift. I nodded and hoped i do not want to fall back to sleep again.

Bastian

"Ow, June," I grimanced. It didn't look pretty. "Hold on. I'll get you something to clean that up."

"I'm fine," she protested. I rolled my eyes and looked at Jason.

"Girls, eh?" I asked, teasingly. I walked towards the back of the resturant and grabbed a rag, wet it, and brung it back.

"Here you are," I said, wiping the blood oozing from her cut. She yanked it from my hand and started dressing her own wound. I laughed.

"I'm not helpless. It's really nothing," she sighed. I shrugged. Naomi looked a little dizzy. I smiled at her kindly.

"Want a drink?" I asked. "Then we'll go sit down. No offense, but you look like you need a break from all this." She nodded, eagerly. I led her away from the others and to the back of the resturant. I grabbed a soda and found a table to it at. It was a little quiter back here. Good.

"I have a guitar in the back. It needs to be tuned and it's really old, but I keep it here just in case. I want to here you play," I smiled. Judging by her callouses she had shown me earlier, I knew she couldn't be bad.

~Naomi~

I bit my tongue. It was easier than biting my lip because no one could see my nervousness. No one but my adopted family had ever heard me play, and that was only because younger brothers tend to eavesdrop on their older sisters and had digital recording devices...which I still had to confiscate from them. And now, a boy I barely knew wanted to hear me play. Why?

The truth was that this social scene was making my head spin. I’d managed to nearly get killed by a rabid chick, then protected by strangers. What a world we live in.

“Seriously?” I asked, my eyes a tiny bit wider than usual, displaying my purple contacts. Bastian merely smiled and nodded. Swallowing, I let though after thought course through my head. My fingers itched a bit and, after a few long moments, I nodded.

“Sweet,” Bastian grinned and went towards the back. My fingers twiddled, and I kept my mind from racing. In a few minutes, he came back with a very old-looking guitar. With a gentle care that showed me he actually cared about the instrument, he handed it to me. I positioned it on my lap and strummed it. The sound made me wince and he grinned again, “Told ya.”

Sighing, I started to tune it by ear, a skill I’d learned after years of playing guitar. I glanced at Bastian and he gave me a reassuring smile. So I started to play Firedance, from Riverdance. It had always been one of my favorites and I was very comfortable with it. Of course I messed up a little bit, and that frustrated me, but I would survive.

Naomi was lost in her music. That much was obvious...but the strange thing about it was that I was too. I could pinpoint the few mistakes she did make but it all just seemed to blend together.

I clapped quietly and whistled. She blushed.

"That was great," I laughed. "How long have you been playing?"

She shrugged and grinned a little. "Long enough."

"Obviously. Great song choice. Mind telling me what that was? I'm going to have to learn it," I replied.

"It's Firedance...from Riverdance," Naomi responded. I nodded.

"Your music is pretty good. You seem really passionate about it. It's kind of shocking, actually," I laughed.

Naomi rolled her eyes. "Thanks, Bastian," she said, with heavy sarcasm. I laughed harder. I had yet to here her use sarcasm. It was refreshing.

"I meant that you don't see many people with passion like that anymore," I told her.

**Thanks for posting. ^^ I thought this died. ): I'm hoping others will post soon. I might just have to PM them. (:

I nodded in agreement. Passion for anything had been lost in this generation, and I barely hoped it would come.

"I know what you mean," I said quietly. We sat there for a while, not speaking. My fingers strummed softly on the strings, wanting to do something.

A mischievous grin crossed my face and I handed the guitar to him.

"Now you."

"Huh?"

"You heard me play, now it's your turn." I felt a pang of anger, not at him, but at myself. Getting even this close to someone was dangerous, that was why I didn't speak. But Bastian was one of those people that made you want to talk.

I would have posted earlier, but I've been at camp for a week. And, because I'm kinda of "durrrrr" in the summer, I forgot what day it was and, voila, I was about two days behind.

I grabbed that once familar gutair in my hands. It looked alien now. I wan't really a 'play in front of everyone' type. I looked at her with wide eyes. She grinned.

"Seriously?" I asked.

"Oh yeah," she responded. "Now it's your turn." I sighed adn started strumming a little.

I decided to play 'Incandescent by Rob Szabo. He wasn't real big, but he was pretty good. I even started humming along a litte. Not loud enough for Naomi to hear though. Didn't want to make her go deaf now, did I?

I knew I was making mistakes but it didn't matter. Sure, I didn't want to sound too bad, but compared to Maomi's performance I knew I was just in front of another gutair player. I didn't feel so nervous in front of her.

The song was one of my favorites. It's hard to find really beautiful songs for the gutair. Not just ones you could totally rock out to. That's why I liked this one.

I finished the last chord and looked up. I shruged a little.

"And that is the infamous playing of Bastian," I said, giving a small bow around the gutair.
