Hope you guys don't mind me bringing it back from the dead. I just kind of forgot to post ... sorry... Oh, yeah, it's pretty bad, but I'm also pretty tired right now, so...
Erome
"Kill him," she growled to the guards. "I'm going to rip those freaks to shreds." She started forwards but the smooth voice of one of the guards stopped her.
"Seeing as your other plans to 'rip those freaks into shreds' haven't gone too well, I hope you'll agree that we made need his valuable information when this plan fails also."
She paused, and then whipped around to snarl at this arrogant guard. Her reply was interrupted by the weak bleat of the body-switching prisoner.
"If you think I'm going to tell you anything, then you might as well just kill me now. You won't get one single word from me. Not a-"
Erome reached out and knocked him as hard as she could around the back of his head, silencing him. Then she glowered at the brave, young guard.
"I'll tear them limb from limb with my own bare hands, and this plan will not fail."
Heron
She stared at the others in the group. They were all sending either hostile or anxious looks to DJ.
"Okay," she said in a small voice. They all looked at her and she felt the need to explain herself. "He'll be okay. There's nothing wrong; it was just some freak thing. He'll be fine." Saying this made her feel a lot better, more confident that this was true.
She saw no one was willing to untie him, they were too busy staring incredulously at her. DJ seemed more uncomfortable than surprised, as though he didn't believe her words. With a deepening blush at all the unwanted attention she was receiving, she made as if to untie him herself.
"Wait, Heron." Ada stepped forward. Now she became the centre of attention, looking slightly uncomfortable as she realised this.
"I'm not risking it," growled Mikael. "I'm not going to let him tear my throat out just because he wants his poor legs untied. No. I'm not suicidal."
"But-"
"Hey-"
"Um-"
Heron, DJ, and Aylen both started to protest.
Then Ephraim, who'd been looking off into the distance, started to speak anxiously. "Yeah, guys. I think we'd better decide quickly, 'cause you remember those guards? Yeah, well, they're all coming towards us, and that guard woman looks pretty pissed off."
