Haunted

The Plot

Welcome to the Lady of Care Hospital. Built in 1858, it was open for 153 years before being abandoned. Half of the building was an insane asylum. More than 100,000 people died there in those years. People say it's haunted by a few of the more... colorful patients. There used to be a church next door that has a graveyard in the back. More than half of the inhabitants are patients from the hospital.
The year is 2009, and a group of thrill seeking friends decide that they want to go and spend the weekend in the hospital and see who lasts the longest. Armed with just backpacks full of food and water, they make their way into the hospital. Little do they know that the ghosts are watching and they want their story to be heard.

Name: Christopher Harold Austin III

Age: 19 (160)

Birthday: September 3, 1849

Death day: September 2, 1869

Personality: Christopher is very laid back when no humans are in the hospital. He likes to 'flirt' with the girls that walk in, no matter their age, and is always the first to contact him. His favorite thing to do is blow in a female's ear while twirling her hair to where she can visibly see it. All in all, he loves to freak the girls out, while scaring the guys to death. He'll write things in the dust to make it look like old horror films, and will often push things down the stairs.

History: Christopher was a very joyful and happy boy in the first fifteen years of his life. He was one of the many people who were at the hospital's grand opening, when he was only nine. He went there daily to visit his grandmother, who had been sent there for her dementia. When he was fifteen, his grandmother died or pneumonia, however, he blamed the hospital. The day he turned sixteen he went into the civil war for the North. Only eight months after he joined the war was finished, and he went home, full of joy, yet feeling a bit sick. About two months after working hard on the farm, he dropped in the middle of the field, where his younger sister had found him later on. His parents took him to the hospital, where he stayed in quarantine for the next three, almost four years. When his father had decided to have him brought home so he'd die in peace Christopher's older brother's wife, Hannah, claimed that she loved Christopher and even had had an affair with him. Christopher's brother, angered at this, began to plot for his death. The day his father sent his brother to pick him up from the hospital, was the same day he died. His brother had walked into his room, with as smug smile on his face while Christopher greeted him merrily, and stabbed his brother in the stomach repeatedly. He had said that Christopher did it to himself, and was let go without question. To this day, Christopher haunts the hospital, cursing his brother's name.

Name: Marrissa Renee Meglyn (M & M)

Personality: Marrissa is very superstitious, and loves to contact the dead with her Ouija board. She's one of the main people a group takes with them if their going somewhere haunted, whether they like her or not. She doesn't have many friends, and is only coming because on of the people invited her along so she could contact some spirits. She's very bubbly and kind once someone gets to know her though.

History: Marrissa was once scared of ghosts, monsters, and all that stuff, until the day her father died. Her father had just woken her up to get ready for school, and walked out of her room to get ready for work. About an hour later Marrissa had believed that her dad was playing a trick on her, so she ran upstairs and into her dad's closet, only to find him dead on the closet floor. While she tried to wake him up she swore she heard him saying everything would be okay before a wave of frosty air hit her cheek, almost like a kiss. He had died of blood clot in the heart. After this encounter, Marrissa began believing more and more in the supernatural and all that stuff. She went from being one of the most popular girls in ninth grade to being a complete loner her senior year.

Name: Aurum Mistress

birthday: 14 September

personality: Aurum is calm and mature. She hates people who acts immature. She is sociable and has a passion to meet people and to know much more about them. Despite of that, Aurum loves to stay alone spending time to for herself. Though she believes in ghost, she is not afraid of them (if they are far away from her) and knows how to take care of herself

History: Aurum suffered a mental breakdown after her boyfriend had commited murder along with his female childhood friend whom she tried to deny as his mistress. Despite of that, she still loves him. They met each other after a few months before he leaves to prison on the hospital. Though, he had lost something inside that he was supposed to give to her. AUrum badly wanted to retrieve it back.

Name: Rick

Gender (forgot this): Male

Age: 18

Appearance: He has short brown hair, coming into an almost spike. He is white. He had beard stubble, that he keeps, but never grows out, and this is usually ignored. Because of his cold icy gray eyes, that always show his emotion, but when that emotion is not strong, just makes him look a bit nuts. He is roughly six feet tall. And usually wears black shirts, and jeans

Personality: He is pretty lay back and easy going. Not the kind of person who gets stressed. He also has a way of spreading this to others, people just seem calmer when they are with him. Though when he gets mad, he explodes.

My ghost

Name: Julia Rosalie Clark

Age: 114 (looks 20)

Birthday: January 21, 1875

Death day: May 12, 1895

Personality: Quiet and charming, although she can have a nasty temper. Generally sweet and caring for others.

History: Julia was born in Virginia to a middle class family. She had a generally happy childhood and was a seemingly normal child. When she was thirteen, her parents died, and she and her three other siblings had to go and live with her uncle in Ohio. She grew up as the beauty in her town, inside and out. She trained to be a nurse, and when she turned 17 she started to work at L.O.C. She loved working with the sick patients, but then, on May first, she was told to go and work in the psychiatric ward. She didn't want to. She had heard the horror stories, but she did what she was told. As she thought she would, she absolutely hated it, especially one patient. He had a multiple personality disorder and he was horrible to her. On May 12, she was working the night shift and was doing paper work when that patient snuck up on her, raped her, and then strangled her to death. He came back to himself and found her dead, freaked out, and buried her beneath the floor boards. Ever since, her soul has walked the halls of the hospital, forever in search for somebody to tell about her horrific night in the psychiatric.

Medical Affliction: neither. She was a nurse murdered by a patient.

Age: 17

Personality: Outgoing, fearless, very opinionated, but sweet and caring

History: Ivy didn't come from the best household. She had no father and her mother was an alcoholic. She was never abusive, but they never had much money because her mom was always buying booze instead of food. Finally, when she was fourteen, she convinced her mom to go to rehab and she's been clean ever since. They live okay now, but their relationship is still strained. Ivy wants to go to college and become a professional photographer. She also holds a deep dark secret that she's never told anyone about.

Name: Elspeth Waters

Age: 8

Birthday: June 15, 1918

Death day: April 5, 1926

Personality: She's defiant, loud, melodramatic and demanding. She is clever, crafty, intelligent and actually has some important things to say. She has mellowed down since she was dead and she haunts her old room in the hospital, the boiler room, both bathrooms, and the cafeteria. She enjoys dark places to explore, she enjoyed messing with the bathrooms (or WC's as they were known in her time,) and she spent a lot of time in the cafeteria, not all of the time spent eating. She has an attitude that makes people think she's pretty apathetic. Even for her age, she doesn't seem naive at all.

Appearance: She can walk through walls, and she does have colour to her, but it's extremely faded and will continue as she gets older. She drifts and lets the wind carry her. She died in a white dress with a large sash and a bow holding her blonde hair up. She has a light complexion and is slight and wispy in build. She has ice blue eyes and sharp features.

History: Elspeth only had 4 years of a real childhood before the voices began. She belonged to a very nice family who wouldn't have given her to the mental asylum if they had a choice. Of course, they didn't. She was dragged, biting and screaming. The officials found out about her after she became "a hazardous person," impulsively doing creepy things to the neighbours, the neighbours pets, their houses, and other things. She had a brother who would hold a grudge against the officials for taking her away forever. She actually faired much better than expected in the mental institution. She was on the brink of getting better, until her voices commanded that she hurl herself out of her bedroom window. (conveniently located on floor 8 )

Medical Affliction: She has serious schizophrenia. She had voices in her head that told her to do many things. She acted like a demon child some times, or a sweet angel others. She fully trusted in the voices in her head. They told her to jump from her window on the April she died.

Name: Raini Daze

Age: 17

Personality: Quiet and very timid. Once you get to know her you realize that she is an all around nice girl. Very compassionate and is known to risk her life for complete strangers. She is probably one of the nicest people you'll meet.

Name: Cedric Pittman

Age: 18 (110)

Birthday: August 12th, 1899

Death day: October 7th, 1917

Personality: Cedric is fairly quiet, and wishes more than anything that he hadn't died. While most of the ghosts have come to terms with their deaths, Cedric never quite managed it. That's why he often makes himself look like a teenager from the same day and age as any thrillseekers who come in. He likes to try to feel like he's alive again, and also enjoys the game of tricking them into thinking he's human, while often hinting that he's a ghost.

Appearance: Cedric's eyes were a bright blue in life, but have now taken on an unworldly tinge of the colour. His hair is black and somewhat wavy. He stands at about 5'10", and has fairly pale skin. What he wears differs between the uniform of an infantryman from World War One, and, recently, simply jeans and a t-shirt.

History: Cedric's life was always just on average. He wasn't incredibly intelligent, nor was he incredibly athletic. The one thing his parents did say about him was that he had strong moral fibre and a love for life. However, when he turned sixteen, he ran away from home and signed up for the war on the side of his mother's country - England. He lasted two years on the Western Front, taking part in a few major battles, before his trench was finally shelled. He was admitted to the hospital as a victim of shell shock, but only died - shortly before he was expected to be discharged - when another patient, one who had a deep enmity for soldiers, attacked him while he was sleeping. No one was able to explain how the man had managed to escape his own room and break into Cedric's,just like no one had been able to stop him committing murder.

Name: Johnny. Dubbed Multi (Has other names for other sides)

Age: 25 (151)

Birthday: March 15th, 1858

Death day: August 12th, 1883

Personality: He has a few of them.
Johnny: He is generally a calm and cool tempered man. Johnny is the kind of guy that everyone likes. He loves to make people laugh, and have a good time, but sometimes he can go a bit to far with his laughs, and frighten/hurt people. Apart from that, he is a funny guy. The man is not one to be told what to do. When he is forced to do something he either rebels, or he pouts and is in a bad mood.

Twitch: He is a nervous personality never able to stay still for more than a few seconds. The slightest noise gets his full attention, and fear. Even though he is a ghost, he flinches when he goes through a wall, or when a solid object comes at him. Just naturally fearful and nervous.

Brawl: The man is a "tough" guy. Or at least he talks it. Brawl will always threaten you, even though he can't do a thing, not just because he is a ghost. Not much else but that. Other than the fact that in secret he likes to write, well sing now, poetry. (wait a while to reveal this one please)

Pris: This one is a spoiled brat character. He, cries about every thing, and trying to begg his way to get things. People try to ignore him, but at one point he just makes them snap, He seems more girly in this one, obbsessing over the things as a ghost he can not control, like his clothes, his skin, that stuff.

KrakenL In this mode he is rally an animal. He does not use his brain, and just runs around, acting like different animals, but usually lions and Tigers and such.

Medical Affliction: He has multiple personalities. Over the years he has tamed them, but they still poke out sometimes. Feel free to have them do so.

Name: Reid Parker

Age: 17

Appearance: A crown of golden curls covered by a dark touque. Reid's dark gray eyes are covered with the thick ringlets of loose curls. Reid isn't a particularily tall guy, and often times mocked for his height (he's only five feet, four inches!). Reid tends to wear baggy sweatshirts and board shorts, as well as a pair of mis-matched skate shoes which have been grafitti-ed by his friends.

Personality: Reid is a very dignified person. He hates being mocked, and often times whines or attempts to fight back when he is joshed. Reid is a pretty gullible kid, easily tricked into believing things that aren't necessarily true. Reid is often times used to be the 'voice-of-reason', often convincing others of the right decision. He speaks with a very shy tone, almost, but likes to be outgoing and carefree, despite himself. Most times you can't tell what Reid is thinking -- he's developed a way of hiding his emotions behind a blank mask that almost looks like a guilty child's face.

History: Reid is simply the youngest of six boys. He's always been bullied by them because the smallest and most babyish. Even if he tries to fight back, all of his brothers stand over six-feet, two inches, leaving Reid hoping that he'll get a growth spurt soon. Reid started filming things when he was nine, and first discovered his parents' camera. He has a sort of gift for it. Reid has always been the superstitious type, and often tries to talk people out of venturing into graveyards. He's never been much good with the idea of ghosts, either! He hopes that following his friends into the old asylum will help to catch some great footage for an upcoming film fest.

Other: Reid always carries around a video camera, and is often filming his 'life' and such. He hopes to be a director one day, and often edits the footage for local film competitions in town.
