Okay, so I'm going to be completely honest with you only because I really wish to help you out as a fellow artist. This looks like a hot mess...
The ship is unrealistically shaped and the outlining is very inconsistent throughout the piece which is very undesirable. The People remind me of gingerbread mean and the smoke looks like you got lazy and squiggled it.
A good tip for fixing this is to get into smaller details and start trying to draw boats you see in other pictures like google search a picture of a boat and try to draw it. It's the best way to get better and will help you out a lot in the future, of that I guarentee .
Still, I give you props for attempting such a hard concept and the idea of drawing the titanic even scars me a bit. I only go out of my boundaries so far and get better in small distances but attempting something so large scale is an awesome thing. You took risks in posting this up here and I'm glad you did .

Suppose for a moment that the heart has two heads, that the heart has been chained and dunked in a glass booth filled with river water. The heart is monologuing about hesitation and fulfillment while behind the red brocade the heart is drowning. - R.S
This ship is recognisable as a ship. Which is good. But the outlining is really oddly done. Then there's the random really dark figure. Overall, you should either make all the lines darker, or make them all lighter. Also, in the grand scheme of things, this looks like a sketch. A truly shaky and messy sketch. So, I don't have much else to comment on.
Here's tips to make it better next time. Study the titanic. Don't just glance and sketch. Look at a picture, truly study it and then draw it. Once you have that down, draw it sinking. The people who were on the titanic, keep in mind, were well dressed, rich, and probably were just having a party with their rich friends or going to sleep. I suggest you show more of their finer dress/dishevelled figure in this picture. They were also all pretty much women and children.
So, in all, study more on the Titanic. You need to know the story and the boat before you try capturing it in an image such as this one.

Thank you for the review forever threnody. As I said before it came out of my literature book, and I think I need to stick with anime. If I ever do try and draw this again it will be after lots of practice.
My reality comes to a close as I once again realize that you don't love me, and even if I love you with my everything you will never care.
um...okay... you need some more contrast. lights and darks. i like the concept, but um well i agree with you, you need to stick with anime. nice try though. i think that you should go back and try it with anime. maybe it would turn out better. other than that i like it. you can view my artwork for help at www.deviantart.com, then type in 82manycookies. you should be able to view my work.

well, ships are very difficult to draw. I for a fact, cannot draw them.
I can tell that the ship is sinking, and the people are in the sea, looking for help, which is good.
Maybe if you study ships, and practice, you could reattempt this later when you feel more confident. I think the key is to play around with your art and see what style works best for ship drawing.
Also, i think this image would look better if some colour was added. Good shading is sometimes all a picture needs to lift it.
Mm, this is decent! The ship is recognizable, but I think that with a bit of shading and a fair bit of details, this could be improved.
The smaller boat is... a bit awkward. At first I though it was rowing towards the titanic, but I think it's supposed to be rowing away? It's at an odd angle, though, because there's not much depth or dimension in the picture, and kind of looks like the boat is raised at an angle against the ship.
And, so many little boats! They're a bit off, because without depth in the picture, they look like toys or something. The waves are a bit oddly done as well, but a touch of shading would easily fix that. ^_^
Nice work, flower. I'm actually pretty jealous that you can even draw ships.

First of all, Flower, I have to make one huge congratulations. The picture isn’t humongous! Yay!
But what has been said is right. I used love taking the art in my literature book (the ones we have at my school have an art selection that almost outshines the literature) and redrawing it onto my homework assignments. Normally, I’m lucky and we never turn our work in but it’s always a shocker to my teacher when he sees art in place of grammar. ^^
Anyway, this is decent. But you definitely could have captured the scene better with a little more shading. Not to mention, cleaning out some of the things that you don’t really need in here. The picture seems so cluttered. Simple, clean pictures are always some of my favorites. When you clutter a picture, you loose the focus of the scene.
