Name: Ama

Age: 2 years

Species: Red Fox

Magic: She is a diviner, a seer. Ama can look into still water and see glimpses of the future.

Position in the tribe: Sort of a Shaman to the tribe (if this is okay)

Tribe: West

Beliefs/ thoughts on Paradise: She is not sure at all about Paradise. Many times Ama has tried to divine the place, to see if it exists. She has had no luck. This unnerves Ama. In her heart of hearts, however, Ama thinks that if there really is a Paradise, then it needs to be protected at all costs. She thinks that no one should go to it unless whatever controls Paradise selects them to go. She aids her tribe in their search for Paradise only because she thinks they will not find it.

Appearance: http://nzeman.deviantart.com/art/Winter-Fox-78884603

Personality: Ama keeps to herself often, but she enjoys the company of others. She is friendly and polite, but a bit strange sometimes. If she knows something about one animal's future, she most likely will keep it to herself unless it is important that she share it. The only member of the tribe she confides absolutely everything to is Sorrow. (If this is okay.) This refusal to speak openly sometimes leads to odd phrases that confuse whoever she is talking to.

Other: Up for love.

Name: Shihana

Age: 3

Species: Fox

Magic: like her name suggests (Deathflower) she has the ability to kill nature around her this is not as effective on animals but it weakens them and their powers significantly. She doesn’t have complete control over this power so everywhere she goes; something is affected by her presence.

Tribe: she was exiled from the demon tribe and now lives with Sorrow in the West tribe. The other animals don't accept her.

Beliefs/ thoughts on Paradise: Shihana believes that anyone can get into paradise however she wants to stop the demons getting there as her revenge for being exiled. She doesn’t show it but she also wants to help Sorrow get there too as she feels that she is in his debt.

Appearance: Shihana has white fur and red eyes; she has thick dark green tribal markings around her eyes.

Personality: Shihana hates the demons because they abandoned her for being too weak. Shihana is evil as she represents sadness and loneliness; she is very selfish but keeps her promises and repays her debts. She hides her true nature from Sorrow as she looks at him for guidance and thinks that he would abandon her too if he knew what she was really like.

Other: Up for love.

Name: Mikael 'The Ironstone'

Age: 8

Species: Silver Back Gorilla

Magic: Accelerated Evolution. His body evolves to rapidly deal with the current situation.

Tribe: East/Leader of the Easts small trained army

Beliefs/ thoughts on Paradise: Survival of the fittest. Only the strongest and most cunning should be allowed to survive. Entry to Paradise should be determined by martial prowess. Believes Paradise is just a means to an end. A place to breed an army to retake the world from the demons.

Appearance: Large even for his kind. He is the size of a small horse and his fur is rich chocolatey brown.

Personality: Obsessive in his beliefs about honour, courage and right and wrong. Believes in facing the enemy head on, not using under handed tactics.

Other: Up for love.

Come on people, variety, if an animal had already been used try to use a different one. Also Arya, if you make a new character, could they be in the demon tribe? Thanks :)

Here's a suggestion - Go find a list of endangered species - They are easy enough to find on Google - and look at pictures of any animals that catch your eye. I know your animals do not have to be endangered species, but you might get other ideas by looking at that list.

WOW thanks... that's a good idea. I'm probably gonna be a flying squirrel, Elephant, Jaguar or a Diana Monkey. They are all so cute.

Yay let's start :D

Sorrow- West Tribe

I sighed quietly, letting an Autumn breeze surround me and clear my head of meddling thoughts. Silence engulfed the little clearing, and yet I could hear bird song, hushed whisperings of wind through the leaves and the occasional animal call. It was Nature's Silence, something that aided me in gaining total concentration whilst meditating.
Thoughts of our unsure future taunted at me, skipping around my head like the devilish demons that threatened our whole world. My skeletal head tilted slightly, as iI tried to tip the little mind demons out of my ear.
I was so out of touch with the earth that I did not hear Ama pad towards me. I gave my head a little shake, and diverted my eyes to the little fox.
I smiled pleasantly, but of course it was hidden behind the white skull that was my face. Ama always seemed to know when I was smiling however; I saw her body relaxed as she exhaled.
"Sorry Sorrow, I didn't know you were meditating."
"No matter." I got up, and stretched out my pale legs. "I was getting a head ache anyway."
She looked up at me with curious, hazel eyes. "Why is that?"
"I was deliberating on what might come of our tribe. It seems a war is inevitable," I said pensively, shaking out my snow white pelt.
She paused in thought for a moment. "What do the Gods think about war?"
I looked up from her, tilting my head in thought as was my custom. I blinked when I had formed a reasonable answer. "Anger is the root of all evil, Ama. But if we fight for justice, for well being, for survival, then the Gods may permit us right of passage to Paradise. We are in one such situation."
"The others want to move. I hear the East tribe are already on their way North," she said, turning her head back to the other tribe members.
"I'll call a meeting then," I said, then throwing back my head in a loud holler to call the animals to my side.

I swung through the trees over the heads of my little band of protectors. The thick brush was taking them time to get through. The Eastern tribe had been heading North toward Paradise for two days and already the old and the weak seemed to be falling behind. I dropped down next to my little band and felt my fingers gel toghether leaving my with two large sythes. I began hacking my way into the under crush cutting a path for the tribe to follow. We protectors were gauranteed our places in Paradise. Entrance in to my elite little band required you to fight a member for there place. There were only ever ten of us and none of the original group remained. I had taken my place from a spider monkey some years age. I looked back to Joy the healer carrying a child for an an old lady bent almost double under the weight of her pack. I left the rest of my band to cut through the brush and headed back to help the elderly lady.
"Here give me that" i said taking her pack and resting it on my shoulder.
"Ironstone!" squealed a little bear cub.
"Hello little one" i smiled scooping her up in my free hand and continuing on toward the path.
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.

In the clearing stood the tribe elders, and surrounding them in circles were the other animals highest rank in the middle with the lowest rank on the outside. The exception to this was me, I hadn't been accepted by the tribe and the only reason I was there was because Sorrow had said it concerned me too.
As I stood still a small circle of bracken started wilting around me and soon they were dead. Some of the other animals glared at me as I ignored them and patiently waited for Sorrow to begin.
