I pretty much failed at Spanish after my third year of taking it. I don't even feel comfortable saying I am passable at it, nor would I survive being thrown into some spanish speaking country.
I can count to ten in french. I don't know why, but I can. And I want to learn more.

Well, then I guess you wouldn't survive if you'll visit me...

Hablo espanol, pero no tengo bastante oportunidad para practicarlo. Apenas fui a la biblioteca y saque Harry Potter y la piedra de filosofia (y algunos otros libros). Quiero aprender todos los idiomas, pero a ver si pase jajaja.
I speak English, howdeedo! I've had four years of French thus far, although I would like to think the two weeks I spent in France did more for me than most of the years combined. If you call being able to have a conversation with an old French guy who has an accent from Marseilles to be "speaking French" than I'm there. I'd say I'm moderate. Not fluent, but not bad either. My listening has improved greatly!
I played in German for three years, but never made much of an effort to remember anything. I can pretend I know what I'm saying. I'd like to pick it back up again some day, but I'm not sure when that day is.
I've had a year of Russian along side my own curiosity. I'll probably be in Russian at uni for the next two-four years, so that will improve quickly!
There is also a handful of other languages I want to learn. I'm going to uni for linguistics, so it's an easy guess to say it's my thing to be able to ramble in other languages. I'm a nerd for the word. (The emoticon expresses my Linguistic excitement.)

I understand Spanish, but I can't speak it. I wish I knew french. Does anyone want to help me with that?

I speak Spanish. English is my second language actually. I really really really want to learn French and Latin (asinus asinum fricat is all i know in Latin)
