I’m crying on my own right now.
I don’t really have a reason.
Apart from I’m tired of pretending,
and trying to please them.

People insult me
and I’m trying to work out why?
I’m loyal
And try my best.
I laugh
And I don’t lie.

Maybe that’s the problem?
All the bitches have friends,
Maybe I should drink and smoke?
Fall out and then try and make a mends.

They say not to offend
but really that’s what they intend.
To hit you where it hurts most,
Like walking into a lamp post.
I see friends as a meanless clique,
Easily broken
Like paper mashie.
Someone who uses you,
Like a convenience store.
You’re there to serve them,
Until you can’t give anymore.

There pleasing and fake.
A thing you regret for wanting,
Like how a tattoo is a mistake
or there boring as watching paint dry.
People point this out too often
but I make excuses of how they’re shy.

I want a real friend.
Who knows me inside out,
Knows what I’m thinking
and what I’m about.
Knows how I want so much more,
Not to work in a Tesco super store!

I just wanna be me,
whoever that is.
I want someone who can be silly
and laugh at people in show bizz.
I want someone who talks about guys,
Who knows who I’m feeling
And knows how to cry.

Who am I kidding?
I want someone perfect.
I want someone like me,
Another total reject!

I can't comment on poetry, but I can really understand the feelings you're trying to convey.

Yup, that's about all I wanted to say.

Nice work. One thing I noticed is when you said 'paper mashie' you spelled mache wrong, so it drew my attention away from the poem and over to MASHed potatoes. Yes, wierd I know. I know I didn't even spell mache right, and I'm not trying to be hard on you. Maybe just look it up; normally I would, but I'm quite lazy today seeing as I was just sick. Great poem all around, though.
