I haven't been on here for quite awhile so I hope I'm not that rusty.
I really need reviews so any one of them is welcome.

I am a perfectly capable human being.
What, you looked surprised just now.
I also have two functioning legs,
that I can use to walk far away from you.

Turning points are never sad endings.
Instead they’re doors swinging open.
After I left that day, relieved,
I was definitely happier than before.

A strong heart is imperative to have,
to fight the battles waged against you.
And when I show you that I won,
my heart will beat, loud and clear.

Echoes throughout the whole lyric poem, you've been hurt, so have we all, wheather that person that your walking away from be an actual person or just something that is made your angry. If it's a poem, though I feel it should ryhme a bit, just a bit, it didn't seem to flow really well, though the words were good, it just didn't seem to flow like a river, like a lyrical poem should.

I really like the way that your words dance and flow through the piece. I think that it was to short for me but I loved it either way. It also seemed a little direct and not enough about the pain.

I think, that this poem is support for person, who feels pain in the soul. Poem help readers to feel feelings of lyrical character.

The first line is kind of boring, but the rest is funny, ironic and very well written.
I especially like the second stanza.
My only nit-pick is that all the letters at the begining of a line are capitalized, change it so that only the beiging of the sentances are capitallized.
other wise, well done.
I've built a wall,\ not to block anyone out, but to see who loves me enough to climb over it.

The words you speak become the house you live in.
