In the time of Xormac, the king of all and in a land known as Sorbia, there is evil sprouting. Zelar, a sorcerer has been planning, plotting, to take the thrown. He hides away from everyone in his tower. Every spell book imaginable is in his grasp even the Book of Marn. One of the most deadliest books of spells in all of Sorbia and now that he finally has it the most diabolical evil will be summoned. The Vescar, the undead army of the underworld. Xormac was informed of this information too late. Zelar has already brought upon the Vescar and even as Xormac’s army nears, Zelar is prepared. He wants the thrown.

As we speak, the war has just begun and you’re one of the many fighting in it. What side are you going to fight for? The choice is yours. This storybook is starting off on the battlefield.

This is just a side note, that in this world there are races such as Sorcerers, humans, dragons, and that’s about it(unless you pm me with a suggestion. Then I'm up for anything). It's up to you what side your on.

Usual rules-no sex no god modding yadda yadda

are those the only races?

no not if you have something good in mind. Like I said it's kind of up to you as long as there's no vampires and werewolves. Anything could really go, that was just an important side note.

Skull, the undead were summoned by Zelar. He's the only one that has the power to do that so did you mean he was a loyal soldier when he was alive? Either way if he's a wrath he's well dead....so Zelar would have summoned him back. Do you want him to betray his own Vescar, Wraith, kind and join the King? That's probably the only way that he could really be on the king's side.....sorry if that confused you. Haha it wasn't intentional :D

Name: Prince Rhett

Age: Ancient, but was in his late twenties when he died.

Gender: Male

Personality: Rhett is cold and calculating. Many of the Vescar know him as the demon prince, and he is known for his indiscriminate murder of anything that gets in his way - living or dead. He is supremely convinced of his own martial prowess andhis intelligence, and dislikes Zelar, but has been bound into service.

Appearance: Rhett is a monster of a man, and legends hold that he actually sought out dark magics in order to make himself more powerful. He stands at close to seven feet tall, with broad shoulders. He wears dangerous looking full plate armour, including a helmet that covers his entire face. Beneath, though he is rarely seen without his armour, his skin is ashen, his hair black and hanging lank about his face, and his eyes are a diseased, bloodshot yellow.

Race/Side: Revenant, a powerful undead with tremendous resilience to most magic, and a strong body. Obviously, he fights for Zelar.

Weapon: He carries a claymore strapped across his back, but can also fight well hand to hand.

Other: As a rule, Revenants act in commanding positions in Zelar's army. They often command by presence alone, inspiring fear in their friends and foes alike. They do use tactics from a commanding position, but when themselves in combat, they merely wade in with their weapons drawn.

Name: Jaskar Errant

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Personality: Jaskar is very cocky, a young man supremely confident that he will live forever. He always wears a smile on his face, and always has some kind of sarcastically optimistic quip in the face of danger. He refuses to be fazed even by the greatest odds, and is highly loyal to his nation and to his brothers in arms.

Appearance: Jaskar stands at approximately six feet tall, with a slender build. He wears a lighter version of the normal uniform, with only a breastplate, greaves and vambraces rather than full armour. He believes hat all armour can be pierced, and that a better policy is to not be hit at all.
Race/Side: Human in support of the king

Weapon: Twin scimitars that he can use with ferocious speed.

Other: Very fast, able to see the weak points in most kinds of armour.

Maradomin Leflame :

He sat on his horse looking over the walls of the fort. He couldn't see the enemy yet, but he knew they were coming. He could feel it. The undead soldier standing next to him looked up, his voice was like the ripping of papers.
"When?" He asked simple.
Maradomin shooked his head "Can't see them... Can't hear them. Might be long. Or might not."
The rotting soldier nodded. "I hope they were here,"
"So do I."

Alexander Ignus:

He was sitting in a wagon, which was trembeling on the uneven forrest floor. Alexander had been taken over by the anticipation and fear of the battle. He couldn't keep peeking over the walls of the wagon.
They were now at the West forrest, just before one of the passes to Zolar. He was anxious to get there.
He smelt battle.

Anzius, I was actually going to start this off entirely different, but your way works too.

Dimlir~

The sky was a smokish gray. A storm was approaching. Dimlir road his dragon high in the sky, feeling the adrenaline rush that came every time he took to the air. This time it was different, though, this time her felt the presence of an enemy. He'd promised the king that he would scout ahead as he always did.

"Sylar, keep you eyes peeled on those mountains,"He told his dragon while pointing toward the nearest cover close to Zelar's tower.

The fort had to be close to that. Right as Sylar rose over the first mountain top, a huge stone fortress dominated most of the surrounding area. Dimlir gasped, Zelar had been more prepared than the King had anticipated.

"FIRE!" Shouts echoed from below and black creatures, the dead, hustled toward giant catapults. Boulders ripped through the air nearly hitting Sylar and his rider.

"Pull back, Sylar! Pull back now! We have to warn them!" Dimlir screamed ducking from a flaming boulder that shot over head.

Sylar turned to the direction in which they had come and started to fly away. His tail was clipped by flying debris that sent them ultimately plummeting toward the forest below. Dimlir held on for dear life as the trees rose to meet him.

*That's the cue for the battle! How bout everyone saw that happen in the distance and now they rush in!*

Prince Rhett

Beneath the opaque steel of his helmet, Prince Rhett smiled as he watched the dragon going down. It plunged out of their sight, but the dark magic still filling Rhett's body augmented his hearing, carrying a mighty, and resoundingly satisfying, crash to him as the dragon slammed into the forest.

He turned his head a little, regarding one of the lieutenants, "Tell the wraiths to spread throughout the forest. That dragon must be brought down while it is still weak."

The man - apparently one who had died young and already half decomposed - nodded before running off, the bare bones of one foot clattering against the cobblestones of the wall.

"And what are you going to do, Rhett?" The one addressing him was another revenant, clad in similar armour to Rhett's, but reminiscent of the king's own warriors. He had fought in an ancient war for Xormac's ancestors. But, like Rhett, he had always pursued his own power. There was no such thing as a revenant who had been good in life, the souls of the good lacked the necessary malice.

Rhett's armour clanked a little as he shrugged, "To war, naturally."

The other revenant nodded, and as a third joined them, they made their way down the steps and walked through the open gates, in the midst of Zelar's army.

Jaskar Errant

From his horse, Jaskar swore at the sight of Sylar and Dimlir going down. The whole army seemed to lurch forward at once, breaking into a double time march to try to reach the fallen dragon before the enemy could.

The general beside Jaskar nudged him, drawing a sword and pointing towards the top of the mountains. A citadel was now visible to them, and from its gates issued ranks upon ranks of indistinguishable soldiers.

"The Vescar." One of the general's other bodyguards muttered.

General Lusamon nodded once, then turned to regard Jaskar, "There will be revenants among them, my friend."

Jaskar bared his teeth a little, "Good." Hopefully this time I will be able to find the one that murdered them. Jaskar had lost his family in one of Zelar's earlier attacks, during his 'practice' summonings. A Vescar revenant had burst into their home and slaughtered them before he could arrive to drive it off. It hadn't much affected his positive attitude, but if one was to mention the Vescar, or worse, the revenants to him, one could see the anger seething beneath his jovial exterior.

If able to, he would challenge a revenant this day. And he had the general's permission to leave his side in doing so. He reached down to his horse's flanks and pulled his scimitars free, swinging them a few times to get a feel for their weight, guiding his horse forward with his legs.
He had decided to live forever or die in the attempt. - Yossarian, Catch-22
