He is quiet and respectful, preferring to stay in darkness rather than be in the spotlight. He tends to dwell on melancholy things, things that go wrong. He becomes frustrated, but his frustration is displayed in otherways, moreover he becomes extremely tense, and tends to hit, or break things, but he does not yell. He raises his voice to nobody. King Paian does not believe anyone should die, and is not willing to kill anyone.
He was chosen as King because of his brilliant and ingenious mind. He is incredibly inventive, trying to change things and progress them into the future. He makes descisions that would progress the country, maintaining certain alliances with other countries. He valus the aspect of trade. But Queen Dominia has other plans for the country, taking control over him, ignoring his own suggestions. The country is practically ran by her.
He was once in love with his wife, absolutely devoted to her, but the love is waining, and he doesn't know how long it truly will last. (Adds drama.

King Paian, unlike his Queen's extremely dark exterior, has a more homely look. His carefully trimmed beard, though dark brown in the picture, is as black as the night along with his other hair. His skin is also extremely pale white making his bright purple eyes seemingly attracting, his skin it not wrinkled unless he shows any particular emotion. King Paian is extremely tall, 6"2 and has a broad build, muscular and strong.
King Paian also has a black dog that never leaves his side. The dog, when fighting, can grow to twice its size and its long white teeth become even sharper. The dog is incredibly loyal, and King Paian is never seen without his dog.
He can also be seen as an animal because he has mastered in the art of shape-shifting. But any of the animals he becomes, their coat is as dark as coal.

He has a beautiful hand and a half sword, light as a feather and incredibly swift to wield. There is a curse inlaid on it though. If anyone else tried to use the sword they would blunder. On the handle, there is dark purple jewels encrusted, rimmed with dark black material, and silver. The blade of it has an ensciption depicting; 'Rex rgis of Infractus Somnium. The King of Broken Dreams. The blade can never break and is a brilliant shade of white silver.
It weilds magical power. It can send blasts of dark matter at people at will, and when fighting, a black aura starts to surround it.
