The Green valley mystery

The greatest mystery a writer can make is the mystery he/she doesn't know the end to themselves. With your help I want to create such a mystery. In the spring of 2000 it was in the small town of Green hill VAlley that in one day 7 people were murdered. The case was deemed unsolvable and the killer was never said to be found..but i want to turn back the clock. You're gonna create a profile for one of the 7 victims and We'll start four days away from D-day (death day) and play up the point the victims die but here's the catch. Somehow the victims found a way to leave clues for themselves about their own deaths... With these clues can the victims find out who committed their murder? Or willthey be unable to turn back the wheels of their own future.

And btw I'm not gonna hold back your creativity. Any amazing plot twists you come up with are fine with me except you have to follow these rules.

1. You cannot deviate from the main idea of the prompt above. Meaning Your character will always be part of the 7, and the D-day is inevitable. If your character will die on d-day unless they can follow all of the clues and solve their death.

2.You HAVE to be flexible. If someone puts in a twist then it effects your character as well. All of their deaths are connected. So, their can be no loose ends.

3. Don't ask me for permission to use any plot bunny that comes to mind. The answer's yes. =)

4. Do not take over the story. (meaning no God Moding or perfect characters) Feel free to mention another writer's character in your post. We share the story so we share the profiles. Try your best to interpret another writer's character.(we won't get mad if you get it wrong though)

Also, i purposely left out character history in the profile template. You have to develope your character's history throughout the story.

Appearance: tall, slender, long red hair, often wears greens and purples, pale complextion, very attractive, green eyes

Personality: Jillian is a coffee shop owner in the small town. She loves reading and buisness owning. She also paints and hangs her paintings in the coffee house. She is pretty mysterious and laughs a lot.

History: She moved away from Green Valley Hill after high school but after a few bad relationships and a couple years at college she decided to return home where her family used to live before they died in the fire. She lives alone in the apartment above the coffee house now.

Appearance: She has natural red hair and I little nose ring. Her style is all her own, with jeans (never straight or skinny) that always have a hole at the knee. Her feet always have sandals on them even in the winter and she has Hollister T-shirts she always wears. Plus she's slender, 5'3, green eyes, and tanish skin for a red head. Oh, and she wears a a sash tied across her forehead, halo style.

Personality: Fun and optimistic with a free spirit. She plays at the coffee shop down the street with her guitar and sings. The owner, Jillian, always lets her come and practice even after closing time.

other: Her kitten, Sabby, is her best friend and always knows when something is wrong.


*Ray, I think it would be easier if we set a D-day early on in the story, just so we can write it diary form kind of. For example say the D-day is June 8 and we start the story of on January 5th it would kind of give us a picture of the time....you know what i mean?*

Maybe the deaths of the seven could all be connected to something that happened in the town in the past?? Something all of their families were connected to like a drug buisness or I don't know, something. Otherwise it might be hard to connect them all unless it is just a cereal killing spree.

I agree with Rory. That would make more sense, u know their past stuff.

hmm...okay, i understand what you're saying Rory. Tell you what, i'll be flexible. The history is optional but summarize it. If you over think the history and dive to far into it; it limits us, because then we can't contradict the character history.
