Alright, so the Hunger Games is actually a young adult book written by Suzanne Collins. It was a phenomenal read and absolutely my all time favorite book that I just had to make a storybook out of it.

And I would really prefer that you’ve read the book first just so that you know how to do the beginning ceremonies and interviews that go on before the actual games.

Plot (I took info from the book; the rest is my own spin off):

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol his harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send a boy and a girl between the ages of 12 and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

It’s been a year in Panem since the amazing contenders Peeta and Katniss won the games. Everyone was shocked to have two winners and the Capitol is positive it won’t happen again, but the rebels are getting stronger right beneath the Capitol’s nose. There symbol of freedom is Peeta and Katniss, but even so the Games must go on.

A representative from the Capitol comes to all the districts just like every year and sits on stage with the mayor, last year’s winner (in this case-district 12- winners), and they roll a huge ball(think of a lottery) and reach for a name. However I’m only allowing five tributes for the Hunger games. There will be 24 tributes all together, just five of them will belong to an actual YWS member, because let’s please remember- they must fight to the death. So’s I was thinking the last five decide to revolt against the Capitol. I just think it would be pointless to have 24 YWS members and have everyone of them die except for one….so I have different positions beside the five tributes.

Tribute- a contender in the games

Avox –they are servants of the Capitol due to a crime they committed or if they rebelled against the Capitol.

Previous district Winners (Mentor in a way)- for example Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark or Haymitch.

A capitol Representative-they go to the districts to pick the name on live TV and look for sponsors as well as help you along like the previous winner does.

A rebel- they work outside the districts seeking to help the tributes. Spies/maybe a rebel tribute that convinces the others to rebel *hint hint* but only when it comes down to the last five.

Small details to keep in mind- remember the cornucopia at the beginning, the cannon fire that symbolizes a tributes death (on the first day there’s too many deaths so they don’t fire the cannons till the night fall, and the anthem of the capitol plays at night in the Hunger Games arena (which is miles long and has an invisible dome around it.) showing the pictures of the fallen tributes in the sky.
Rules: No god like powers or sex scenes. It can be graphic when it comes to the kill but only because the book was like that. But seriously, no godly stuff, like taking out five tributes within the first day, that’s just ridiculous.

Profile:

Name:

Gender:

Age: between 12-18 for the tributes and any other age for the other characters I’ve listed.

Appearance: (Hair, face, physique, clothing etc):

District: (1-12. The first three districts are the more well trained and wealthy tributes.)

____This will start at the reaping day ceremony_____________

Profile:

Name: Savy Delm

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Occupation: Tribute

Appearance: 5'2 with a round face, full lips, and big blue eyes, with black hair. Like most people in District 12 AKA the Seam. she has a muscular build and can run outrageously fast, but every now and then trips. Her hair is severely straight and she has olive colored skin with freckles under her eyes.

Personality: Cocky, self confident, more or less over confident. She's definitly a sore loser and good at fake crying.

District: 12

History: Has lived in 'The seam' her whole life and grew up hating the Capitol and even knew Katniss Everdeen. Pretty normal except her brother ran off to join the rebellion.

Other: Is good with her fist and can dodge about any arrow.

EDITED. *Thanks for the heads up.*

Profile:

Name: Ringo Tori

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Occupation: Avox (though he isn't very willing.)

Appearance: Ringo is more than what he looks like, basically he looks like a VERY girly guy. He has ivory white hair with the occasional lock of ebony black thrown randomly into the mix. With a sparkling deep sea blue left eye and a dazzling grass emerald green right eye his very gaze instills coolness and serenity. He is loomingly tall and somehow, even if he is shorter than you has a way of looking down at you. His is lanky, but fairly muscled and has this ambling grace. A tattoo like a hurricane, except with intricate spiderweb like lines twists all around his right hand and to his shoulder. He wears a tuxedo at all times always showing him as out of place. (Because of his, ahhh, looks and good work he's allowed to wear it ad not standard uniform.)

Personality: Ringo is a very complex soul. He was caught for rebelling, but only because he was found out. He is a very calm person, who thinks fast and tends to not care about anyone else. People might think he's cold, but truthfully he just sometimes forgets that there are other people alive. He's the sort of person you pour your life story out to and expect sympathy in return. He's never taunted, not ruffled, because that's the way he is.

District: 1, well, he used to be, now he's basically a convict. (He wears a tuxedo all the time, seriously)

History: Ringo was originally raised outside, but was brought in at an very early age, so early he couldn't even remember his own name, he was incidentally named by a foreign guard who picked him up and took him in. Ringo when young was a hot-head and had a very fiery personality, though his years of living have taken that from him and compensated with coolness and even-temperment. He (secretly) hates being a Avox and would willingly become a tribute again.

Other: He has a very fast thinking process and wonderful reaction timing, if you join these two together he is the perfect fighter, though to lack of his power he has to think a bit more through. He is very much up for love, but you wouldn't know if he was in love with you. He remains a calm exterior all the time.

Wait Ringo, just to let ya know there aren't really any Avoxes allowed in the districts they are only servants at the Capitol. They're considered convicts in a way and usually wear uniforms. He could originally be from District 1, however, so um....yeah that's it. Thanx for joining my Storybook! :D

Also just to let people that haven't read the book, but want to join, I have a discussion thread where questions can be asked. :D

**Hope this is okay, its been awhile since I've read The Hunger Games but it is by far my favorite book and I think I'll enjoy this StoryBook**

Name: Robin Caraway

Gender: Female

Age: 14

Occupation: Tribute

Appearance: Robin has unusually long, white-blonde hair that she keeps tied into two, beautiful braids (when her hair is not in braids it cascades down her back). Her skin is a shade of ivory and freckles dust her cheeks and nose in a very childish way. Robin has big, bright green eyes framed with thick darker lashes. She is very short for her age and particulairly skinny and bony.

Personality: Robin isn't a shy girl in any way, she'll speak her mind and always gives her opinion. Being the youngest child in her family and only daughter she's grown up strong and acts boyish most of the time, hating when someone judges her by her size she'll quickly get them to change their mind. Since her parents are both teachers Robin is incredibly smart.

District: 7

History: Besides being the youngest and only daughter in her family Robin has grown up like any other child in District 7, strong and hard. Her mother and father are both teachers and are atleast always able to feed their children. Robin was tought how to fight by her eldest brother, Crow, who also tought his younger siblings. He later ran away to join the rebellion along with another one of Robin's brothers, his name was Sparrow.

Other: Up for love.

She was beat everytime she failed at something and has the scars to prove it. Tough and isn't the little princess the outside makes others believe. Clever.

Of course you can have two characters...in fact I'm gonna make another one.

Profile:

Name: Levi (Lee-vii)

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Occupation: Avox/rebel

Appearance: Pale skin with big brown eyes and brunette hair that sweeps into his eyes. He seems to remind everyone of a lost puppy kicked one too many times and thrown into a crowd of people. He has rough hands and a sweet smile. He Suffered the affects of being related to a member of District 13 with a finger, his pinkie on his right hand, being cut off.

Personality: He's patient, hostile, quiet, and strategic. With those big eyes he sees and hears everything, taking note of every single detail. Waiting for his attack against the Capitol.

District: He works in the Capitol

History: ? Classified?

Other: Up for love, but is looking for a rebel tribute that he knows must exist.

*Would anyone mind making their tribute the rebel tribute, who's seeking to throw the games at the last five?*

I really only wanted five tributes to each be owned by a YWS member but I'll accept six. Please to anyone else that might make a profile: Look into the other occupations because first come first serve and we already have enough tributes. We need Avoxes, rebels, Capitol people, or any of the other things I've listed. :D

EDITED:

Savy Delm~ District 12:

I stared out my grimy kitchen window at the town clock standing on a high pillar by the Square and sighed. One o'clock. It was time for everyone to file out of their houses and prepare for the dreadful night that would take place in that very square.

"Sweetheart, have faith. I doubt you've had that many tesseraes added." My mother's encouraging voice spoke from behind as she laid a hand on my shoulder. Even her happy demeanor was dim on this day, but she was all I had left since Dad died and I forced myself to believe, for her, and nodded.

"You're probably right."I turned and smiled at her, holding the tears back. I couldn't cry today, I had to be strong. "Guess we should get going then."

"Okay, but remember, Savy, that whatever may happen, You will be alright."My mother emphasized, walking to the front door of our three room house.

"I know, Mom."

***

As we made our way to the square people, in their fancy clothing, silently signed in. The Reaping is a good opportunity for the Capitol to keep tabs on the population as well. Twelve- through eighteen-year-olds are herded into roped areas marked off by ages, the oldest in the front, the youngest toward the back. Family members line up around the perimeter, holding tightly to one another's hands.Amongst them are the betters. The ones who've given up or just don't care, that go around placing bets on who's name will be drawn.

The space gets tighter, more claustrophobic as people arrive. The square is quite large, but not enough to hold District 12's population of about eight thousand. Those who come late are directed to the streets where they must watch the scene on screens as it's televised live by the state.

The stage consists of a podium, two large glass balls, and four chairs. Four this year because the two winners from last year's Hunger Games will be seated on the stage instead of one. One glass ball has all girl names, including mine, written on tiny slips of paper in it, while the other has all boys.

Everyone went silent, although they weren't exactly chatting it up to begin with, as the mayor along with Lola Fettie took the stage and sat in the two remaining seats next to Katniss and Peeta, the previous winners. Lola was the Capitol Representative, there to choose a tribute male and female and of course represent the Capitol. It would've been Effie Trinket, but after last year's success she'd been promoted.

Just as the town clock strikes two, the mayor steps up to the podium and begins to read. It's the same exact story evey year. Of Panem and the progress the Capitol has made. The Capitol wishes for us to treat it as a festival, as if we had a choice. When the mayor finished his speech it's tradition for the previous winner to speak, but that's changed this year. Instead there will be no more talk from anyone on stage except for Lola.

Lola takes to the podium with an over excited smile no one appreciates and says,"Happy Hunger Games Everyone!" There is utter and complete silence- besides the nervous shuffle of feet. "Well let's get down to it shall we?" No reply. "Ladies first!" At that she gets a weak clap and heads over to the first glass ball. My stomach drops and I try to wipe my nervous hands on the silky dress I'm wearing. I'm almost positive everyone can hear my rapid pulse loud in their ears.

Everyone around me stiffens as Lola sinks her hand into the large sea of white and slowly withdraws. "I hope it's not me!"I hear a girl across from me whisper frantically and people immediately shush her. I'm too busy listening to my own pulse in my ears that I'm caught off guard when literally everyone in the square turn all eyes on me. Some stare with pity while there are some who won't even meet my gaze. I realize that I've missed the tribute's name being called. What?! I feel like shouting, but then I hear it.

Lola repeats the chosen female tribute,"Savy Delm? Savy Delm, please come to the stage." I'm completely frozen while my feet trudge on their own accord. Before I know it, live on TV, I'm on stage. Savy Delm, me, is the next female tribute from District 12 to enter the Hunger Games.

*If your not sure what people are or what district they're from, I'm posting that stuff in the DT*

{Robin Caraway}

I was standing in the sea of fourteen year old girls, my blond hair sticking out like one bright light in the darkness of the night. The most recent Hunger Games winner sitting at the table with the Capitol Representative, his face was warm and calm.

"How about we go with the girls first this year?" the man called out, a wave of fear crashed over me and the abyss of night surrounding me became stiff and as scared as I was. The Representative stuck his hand in the thing holding our names, mine was in it once among thousands.

"Robin Caraway!" shouted the man.

I was now caught in the current of my worst nightmares.

"Robin Caraway, the stage awaits you!" he shouted again.

My blood was as cold as ice.

The next thing I knew I was on the stage, the man was beside me and his hand was on my shoulder.

"Robin Caraway" he whispered pausing a bit to look at me with a mournful face since my size was very small and he thought I wasn't going to last long in The Hunger Games.

"Sir, I may be small, but I swear I could kick your but right here on this stage" I told him loud enough so the microphone could let everyone else here what I'd said.

"Welcome to the Games" he finished.

The rip tides had gotten me now, I was finished.
