Forward, by Director of the OWDS Bureau, Carson Miles.

"Vampire classification is difficult, considering that many different incarnations of Nosferatu are up and running in our collective consciousness.
Some are Physical, others are spiritual, some benign beings seeking only a continued existence and others psychotic beasts of feasting and horror.
Through centuries of sacrifice, battle and revelations, Humanity has built a knowledge of the Nosferatu, their kin and their weaknesses.
We, as a species, must hope that our own will to survive will ensure that their will to feed will not bleed us dry."

Here is a Basic Grouping of the numerous types, along with some basic information.

Zombie Vampire.
Very rare, completely similar to the average Zombie, depending on reader's concept. Are dominantly infected Humans, though can sometimes cross Species. Average to below average strength, depending on decay, low damage threshold, especially to head and or spine. Depending on basis, either occult or biological, feeds to nourish taste for blood or for some physical sustenance for virus or bacteria. Sunlight has no effect. Stupid, in every meaning of the word. Rot as a Normal Corpse, only Teeth gain modification. Intelligence barely above that of an Insect. No complex thought, incapable of planning attacks.
Example: Few, unavailable in actuality.

Feral Vampire.
These vampires resemble Humans only vaguely, having a demeanor more closely resembling a Cornered Animal. They feast both for survival and for the sake of feasting. They have no complex thought, though can rise above themselves and coordinate ambushes. Inhuman Physical Strength and Endurance, Massive damage threshold. Sunlight has a massive effect. They will scarcely wear clothes, either because they are beyond the concept of clothing or because they are not intelligent enough to manage.
Extremely Dangerous but most often defeatable by mortal means. Fire Arms are effective.
Religious articles may have some Psychological effect and if a mix of an Occultic class Vampire, a heavy Physical effect.
Example: The vampires Exemplified in the "I Am Legend" Feature Film with actor Will Smith.
Also in a scrapped vampire story of mine, called prehistoric vampires, almost completely demonic and incapable of empathy.

Parasitic Vampire.
Very close to Humans in form, demeanor (in some cases) and mental capability (Usually only a child-like level) These vampires are driven by another organism's wish to propagate itself and spread through a populace, and most often takes a heavy toll on the host. Can burrow into the spinal column or the Skull Cavity. Can be Physically strong, though only emerging when endangered. Sunlight has a massive effect. Often have characteristics of a Feral vampire but can manage basic speech and even complex thought, though still severely limited. Usually feeding is completely for the spreading of the parasite, serving little necessary function. Can have normal Human Bite type or biologically modified jaw and teeth structure, depending on parasite's capabilities.
Example: Later Blade vampires, most almost similar to a plane animal, wolf, or even mange-infected Canine.

Pseudo-Feral Human vampire.
These vampires are almost completely Human in appearance, though do have obvious signs. Massive teeth, often mangled and broken, Almost completely Black eyes, elongated nails. Possess massive Physical strength and endurance. Have intelligence equal to an average Human. Can range in age from centuries to decades to even days. Appearance remains from time of turning. An Adult may only be 20 days 'turned' yet a child may be 2000 years. Sunlight has massive effect.
Can plan ambushes, espionage, treachery, political sway, social interloping and cultural shifts. Bite Capability is that of a wild beast, feast on shredded flesh and exposed blood vessels and veins. Religious articles have varied effects. Mortal Weapons do damage, no guarantee of fatal effect.
Example: 30 days of night Vampires.

Classic Vampire.
These vampires are at the top of the food chain. Only considered Classic if originating from before World War 2, due to cultural constraints. The oldest case of designation is that of Renaissance Age, though can extend to Middle ages if meet criteria. Highly Intelligent and almost always Cynical, cold in thought and without emotion. Some retain Human emotions and empathy, and can even exercise mercy, but don't hold your breath. Completely Human in appearance. Sunlight affects only lower class and 'younger' vampires, always Lethal when affected. Teeth and Eyes vary on nationality. Bite ability similar to that of Human. Vary in strength and endurance, most are superhuman in almost all aspects. Capable of all forms of thought and design, can plan much more than ambushes, can invade politics, sway cultural movements, influence social matters and leaders. Feed in a formal manner, usually choosing a member of a sex opposite them. Though extremely hardened to society from their age, still slip into social distinctions such as class, race and even sexuality. Are found on every continent, usually staying to stable and or developed nations.
example: The Vampires of the writer Anne Rice, such as the now famous Lestat.

Ancient vampire.
Little knowledge available. Range from pre-Roman to Post-New world periods, can in some cases be classified as Classical. Are of every nationality, no known religious constraints, though are susceptible to Religious Artifacts. Appear ageless after feeding, but almost mummified before exposure to blood. Speak in dead languages and are quick to pick up on modern tongues. Hold Humans in disgust, nothing more than cattle, to be fed upon and allowed to flourish only to allow for ready food supply. Bide ability resembling Human. Sunlight has some effect. Are Above Complex thought, and can even possess precognition, can be classified as Occultic and even Feral depending on demeanor and appearance. Have no hold on modern society beyond cultural reference. Have followers within Classical and pseudo-feral Human vampires.
Examples: The most well known Nosferatu, Vlad the impaler, and or Vlad Dracula. Also in European folklore and Japanese popular culture, Alucard (Dracula in most views)

Occultic Vampire.
Vampire class that is in most dispute. Have no age range. Have no modern Geographic specifics. Strong origins in Africa, Eastern Europe and Deep Asia, Even South America and North America. Can be affected by religious articles heavily depending on dominion. Cannot set foot on hallowed ground, regardless of religious property. Vary on intelligence and Social wave. Strength varies once again. Varied Bite ability. Sunlight has massive effect.
Example: Many Cultures, most notable the Chinese Hopping Vampire, The Aztec Cevatateu (Unknown Spelling)

Almighty vampires.
No Data. Can range in appearance from Animalistic to ghostly to macabre to Human to even Godly. No Data Beyond acknowledged existence. No known effect from sunlight.
Examples: Word of Mouth and little known fiction and cultural tomes.

All are susceptible to some Mortal Weapon, or can at least be stalled by them. Almost all are capable of thought. Almost all are affected by religious artifacts and objects. All Feed on Human Blood. Most have ability to turn Humans into either new vampires or into ghouls and infected vampires. All are Dangerous. All are Lethal. None have a cure or reversal beyond complete destruction.

Dear Person,

This is completely AWESOME (like no joke). I seriously want to go look for some (people always say if I was in a horror movie I would die first anyhow.. or come back as one of those characters "i am still alive guys.." then they die but that's a different story.

Seriously keep writing! Maybe you can create a whole series (or something..) with these vampies..

A fellow writer's love,

Hi Era!!

Let's go on to the review, shall we? ^^

Some are Physical, others are spiritual, some benign beings seeking only a continued existence and others psychotic beasts of feasting and horror.

Physical shouldn't be capitalized.

Also, the part towards the end confused me so instead of "and" you might want to use "while". Just a suggestion. ^^

Here is a Basic Grouping of the numerous types, along with some basic information.

Basic grouping shouldn't be capitalized. Also, the word basic is repeated in such close proximity. Try changing one of the words.

Example: Few, unavailable in actuality.

This isn't a mistake, but I can name a few. ^^ Or at least, what I think are part of this: The Resident Evil "vampires".

having a demeanor more closely resembling a Cornered Animal.

Their demeanor closely resembles that of a cornered animal.

Can be Physically strong, though only emerging when endangered.

...though strength only emerges when endangered.

OVERALL: Okay, informative piece, and a fun read. The only problem I frequently encountered was your tendency to capitalize letters that didn't need capitalization. I kind of stopped pointing them out after a while since this consistently appeared throughout your work. Apart from that it was a good piece. ^^ Well done!

Love, get out of my way.

I just want to be the side character in a book that basically steals the whole series.
