It must be freezing where you are, I like this one too, same great job with the contrast, the tree at the bottom looks a little flat at the angle you took it at but that doesn't matter much.
There is something at the top I can't really describe, I'd crop it out, it's distracting.
Lovely photo's though, remember to try and post it all in one.
Take care, hope the snow stops.
Great pic, once again. I'd love to live where you do (of course it must be VERY cold). The thing that bothers me about this picture is i can't really understand what angle you took it from...I mean my first thought was from the ground up, but some of the snow doesn't look like its in the right place if you did take the picture that way.

Definitely a nice picture, very interesting with strong contrasting values. It's a great image to use for matte painting. The contrast between the sky and the snow covered branches makes it easy to see the outlines of each branch, which will make it so much easier to separate the trees from the sky in photoshop. Then you could put anything you want in the sky.
I live in southern Ontario in Canada. It's less than a week from Easter and we just got another snowfall, one that's been going since yesterday! But if this picture was taken recently, like yesterday recent, then I may be right in thinking you live much further north than I do.
By the way, Telina, that thing at the top is elizajoe's hair. But you're right, it should be cropped out. I didn't notice it at first, but when I did it became a big distraction from the rest of the picture.
Chicken <-- Egg <-- Rocket Powered Fist Take that, science!
Brilliant picture! The angle leaves the viewer wondering about your picture. Impressive.
1. Crop out the hair, as the others mentioned, it's very distracting.
2. I live in Wisconsin, and it's nearing Easter, but we don't have much snow now. It's all melting. I'm leaving to a tropical place on Sunday, so no snow for at least a week after Easter.
3. Weird angle, it bugs me to know.
Otherwise, it was pretty good. Be careful on size, it was almost too big!

I hate snow, where I live it's melting. But, this picture is beautiful and it made me kind of miss the snow covered trees. If I tried this, the snow would probably fall on my face, but that's just my luck...love this though. Great angle.
The angle, and the contrast. One of a kind, no doubt there, so be proud of yourself. I didn't even notice the hair until someone else mentioned it, but now it does bug me. Anyways, even with it, its a good photograph, and you did a good job.
When I first saw it, the contrast was so strong, it took me a moment to realise the photograph wasn't fake, but that's not a bad thing, in fact its pretty impressive.
Why does believe have the word lie in it?
*like the line in my dp? Check out my one poem: "In Repair". I made the dp to match the poem.
Get rid of the hair, like everyone else said. It's quite a distraction.
The contrast between the snow and trees is so amazing. Often when shooting beneath trees, cameras over expose or underexpose and you can never tell what's snow and what's not. Good job on getting your camera to behave.
I love all the twiggy branches. They remind me of snowflakes, which is very much in line with this photo. Great job; keep it up!
