(this post is the first in a series of work based on metahphors and what they have taught me or what I think they stand for. Following the metaphor I explain what I have learned from it)
Darkness was a beautiful, curious and all too mysterious young woman. She’d been almost everywhere, seen almost everything; everything except for light.
Light was a strong and aggressive young soldier; a fighter, a conqueror. Light was a warrior of unquenchable ambition and remorseless disposition.
Light assaulted darkness, dominating her, raping her.
Darkness fled from light in order to truly only where light cannot. Darkness bore children; we call them shadows.
Shadows are as cruel as Light is brutal. However, shadows are only the frightened children of darkness that hide from their father; mocking him as well as pondering his face.
Children are taught to flee from shadows.
Criminals are wont to shelter among them.
The blind prefer to bath in them.
Philosophers name them.
Darkness and Light reconcile at dawn and then conflict at dusk.
During an eclipse the world watches as the two make love.
This is a phenomenon

Lesson # 1
Darkness and Light are used to embody to phases of human life.
Thought and Action.
Darkness stands for the state of uncertainty, questioning and contemplation
Light represents resolution and activeness.
kind of like the difference between potential and kinetic energy.
Lesson # 2
when a person crosses over from darkness to light they cast aside their uncertainty and grasp resolution.
Now, when a person turns to light they turn to action.
Actions have consequences. the Shadows embody these.
Lesson#3
Darkness and Light are both necessary for life.
Darkness embraces you in the absence of light and allows you to focus.
when in darkness you grope for answers and dive within yourself.
Darkness is a world of both harmony and malcontent, Recluse and Serendipity.
You need darkness guide yourself. when blind hands meet they embrace.
every other sense is addressed in the realm of darkness.
depth is made reality.
ones insignifigance is realized and one is opened to the world.
Darkness is not always good for her crushin love have guided many into insanity.
Lesson# 4
When Enveloped in Light
Sight is the initial sense.
the things one may have grasped in the darkness are things one may burn in the light.
In Darkness a wall is a shelter. In light it is an obstacle.
In light you see the path before you and you take it.
you rewards before you and you take them.
you see other people.
If they stand before you, they are thrown aside, trod upon, or slain.
Light is not all bad, without it we never would have achieved any task that has been set before us.
(Ok, now I'm going to start a new train of thought on same metaphor of Light and Darkness.
These Thoughts will apply the metaphor to society)
Lesson #1
As every action has a counter-action.
Every-existence has a counter-existence.
This will explain the many polarities that exists today.
Lesson#2
We have enemies because we make them our enemies or them us.
By Proclaiming ourselves the Light we condemn all others to Darkness.
Like the poor man who steals to survive because of the rich man who steals out of greed.
There would be no Invaders if there were no outcasts.
