Iowa Young Writers' Studio.

[s]Basically so I applied to the studio two months ago and I'll know by tomorrow whether I'm in or not.

Did anyone else apply this year/go at some point in the past? Thoughts? Knowledge, sharing of? Comforting... comfortingness? Should I be as antsy as I am? D:[/s]

So, anyone else going? What do you know of the Iowa Young Writers' Studio? Am I justified in my sickening joy? *makes the grabby hands*

Best of luck. Don't go too insane while waiting for Friday, or else when (not if) you go, you'll only be able to write in Pig Latin or something.

With my normal state of mental balance, I'll be lucky if it's only Pig Latin. I'm more likely to end up losing the ability to write entirely and being able to speak only in binary.

Fortunately I have other stressful things to distract me, hahaha. But thank you for the kind words.

What is this studio? Do you just write there?

My counselor did a nice thing (Shockingly; He's kind of weird) when he told me about a writing studio...Red Bird Studio or something like that, and it's near where I live. I don't have the time, but I might check it out soon.

It's a summer program for high schoolers to improve their writing. So yes! =D

Good luck with the Red Bird Studio, haha. Is it also a summer program or all year round or what?

Oh dear, I do wish there was some kind of Writing Studio where I am. I unfortunately live in the middle of nowhere with a surprisingly good internet connected. Praise the Lord for that.

Noooo. D: Decisions, decisions. I was sure I wanted to do fiction but now I'm wondering if I shouldn't try poetry instead AND two of the creative writing ones sound awesome... *watches resolution tear itself to shreds*

I'll probably try fiction in the end, though, if only 'cos it's what I'm worst at. Argh.
