Kyle

He stood up as well, grinning at the newcomer, "Yeah, come on! Now we've got four, it won't just be a dunking competition between these two."

She gave him a suspcious look, after all, he hadn't seemed very friendly a second ago. Kyle held up his hands, "Hey, I was just kidding before, no hard feelings, right?"

He jogged onto the court as Casey was squaring up against Zack for another shot. He looped around behind her, holding up his hands for a pass and calling out for it. He couldn't dunk, but he wasn't bad at lay-ups. And even if both of them were better than him, he was still okay at basketball.

Casey~

I didn't know if I should throw the ball to Kyle or not. Zack and I were obviously better than him and I knew I could make the shot on my own. Dad's voice went into my head "Play to win!" I knocked it aside. This was only a small game. Nothing serious. In a matter of seconds, I decided to pass Kyle the ball.

He got around Amy easily and threw the ball towards the hoop.

He missed.

Amy~~

Amy was having fun despite her sucking, the girl was awesome and the other guys were almost as awesome but she couldn't get to the ball herself. The ball was dribbled around her again and again then she decided to step it up, as a short person she couldn't reach it but she was speedy. She intercepted a ball and passed it to Zack and he scored.

"I thought you said you weren't that good" the guy who noticed Amy and her camera first said smiling commented smiling.

"I did!" I beamed at them as the game went on I intercepted more balls and passed them on to my team mate.

"sorry mates I don't know who is supposed to win or what you all were planning on doing...*

Kyle

She wasn't bad, he had to give her that. In fact, the way he was playing, he and Casey were going to lose. Kyle started dodging in against her, pressuring her and trying to stop her stealing the ball again. The game evened up again quickly, before starting to swing back and forth between the two teams.

After a while longer, with the score even at some unknown number, Kyle raised his hand, "Guys? Do we know how we're going to decide this, or when?" He glanced at Casey, she'd seemed worried about getting into trouble before, "I mean, we do have classes today..."

Kristen

When she woke up again, it was to find April standing over her. April seemed to have a look of concern on her face. "How long have I been out?"
"For about three hours. You really need to be more careful," She wrinkled her brow in concern for me. "Have you always been like this?"
"For as long as I can remember. I have really small feet and so if I step just a little bit wrong then I tumble down to the floor. I've gotten used to it though," She held her head while she started to sit up, hoping the nausea would subside. "Why are you still here though, don't you have other things to do?"

*Sure, Selene*

Winnie.

I walked quickly down the hallway. I wasn't exactly sure where I was going but it didn't matter. After that speech in the auditorium, anything was better.

I wasn't paying attention when I bumped into someone, or something. "Oh, sorry," I muttered and looked up.

A girl with beautiful black hair smiled weakly, "No problem," she said.

"Oh, I don't think we've met, I'm Winnie," I said, extending a hand towards her.

*I wasn't exactly sure what to do...*
"Can't stop, won't stop. I must be dreaming."

*Thanks!*

I took Winnie's hand and shook it. It was nice to meet someone even after the little talk in the auditorium. I was glad to make a new friend.

"I'm Ash Lee. Nice to meet you." I smiled in greeting and she returned it in full. I decided to leave out that my name had two parts, figuring it would just confuse people.

"So where's everyone headed off to?"

Winnie.

"I'm not exactly sure," I replied. "Maybe they explained it at the assembly, but I honestly wasn't listening."

Ash Lee nodded. "So, what grade are you in?" I asked her.
