Favorite books

I know, I know. I've done this before, but there are probably way more new peoples who wanna have their say...so fire away!

Books, yes, books. The best boredom busters by far.

Firstly could you add a few more authors to the poll because I don't like any of the above.

My favourite books include:
Mortal Engines,
Predator's Gold,
Infernal Devices,
Fire and Hemlock,
The Bartimeaus Trilogy,
Redwall series,
and The Chronicles of Pern.

Animal Farm and Bloody Jack are my favorites at the moment...will change in four minutes.

Out of the three above, Roald Dahl by far. "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee is really good but I've never heard of anything else by her.

Reaper man by Terry Pratchet. (the lack of capitalization is in the title, strangely enough)

both good books.

Why do you like Terry Pratchet out of interest? I cant get on with his books, so, why do you like him?

They have a good sense of fun and humour. And they also have interessting plot lines, set in a surreal fantasy world that is a parody of high fantasy.

Why is this a topic poll for favorite books- and there's no option for JRR Tolkien?

Yes. The Silmarillion is my favorite book. List of other favorite authors.

I think that's because that's all she wrote, if I remember correctly.

I love Lewis, especially The Screwtape Letters, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Till We Have Faces.

I'm also a big fan of Francine Rivers, whose Mark of the Lion series are probably my favourite books of all time.
