Feel the urge to give some constructive criticism? Why not give it to these stories?
Its a very pretty picture of, at least in my opinion, a very unpretty subject. The flowers shape is just so heavy and geometric that it loses the natural feeling it should have.
Still the lighting and color are good and very appealing, its just an ugly shape. Sometimes, no matter how amazing of a photographer, one can't make something ugly into something truly beautiful.

What kind of flower is this? I've never seen it before. I love flowers and gardening so I'm interested ^_^ Well, anyways...
1) I like how there are raindrops covering the petals of the flower. It gives it shiny look to it.
2) The drops on the leaves add more character. The leaves are all shiny too.
3) The lighting is good in this picture. No unnecessary shadows anywhere.
Okay, I liked this picture. I think the rain and just this lone flower adds a touch of sadness to it. I know, not a helpful review but I can't really find anything wrong with this picture. Maybe if the flower was more centred...
Good job!

Oh my gosh, it's beautiful. And I'm a guy who hates generally dislikes pink, and I love it!
The angles are perfect, the shadowing is perfect, and the rain resting upon the leaves and petals....oooh....so amazing. I just love this. What kind of flower is this? I don't recall ever seeing this either.

Hey Scorpia!
Thanks for the review on my pic so I'm here to return the favor!
Wow. This is a pretty flower. It looks like a carnation yet there is a slight difference. Some sort of wild flower? The water drops look awesome. I love how they just sit there in little bubbles. The big leaf next to the flower on the lower left is really good with the flower. It would look better if you cut out everything else besides that. Just my opinion!
Great job!

One Stormy Review Coming Right Up!
I find the picture to be gorgeous. The colours to be beautiful, and the raindrops like little tiny perfect bubbles. Of course, I'm the bitter sweet type, and I find the picture to be like 1 cm off center. Naturally thats just me of course. Doesn't change a thing. It's incredibly beautiful, and I'm 100% impressed by it.

Hullo!
I would love this picture so much more if it were a tad more focused. The whole "rain on flower" thing, though overdone, is very pretty. However, you have way too much other stuff going on in the background. You've got the leaves, the tree/bush/whatever, the grass, all these other things that take away from what you were trying to portray. Try cropping it, or taking a picture where there's only one thing, like the sky or a field or something behind it. It's much easier to focus on something when it REALLY stands out.
I also half agree with lily. This flower, though a beautiful shade of pink, doesn't really have a photogenic shape. You know how some people just can't look good in pictures? Well, the same applies in flowers. I think if you found a more delicate looking flower, it would enhance it more.
On the flip side, I like your lighting, and the color of the flower. I also love how clear the picture is. Non-blurry photos make me smile.
Well, that's my two cents. Take it and buy a piece of gum or something. This has the potential of being a beautiful picture, and you seem a good photographer. Just try to focus a bit more.

My God, oh how you've changed me; broken, shaped, and rearanged me. How you've knocked me down so you could pick me up.
The flower is a camellia, they are purposely large and bulky, A lot of people like huge flowers, this one is not extremely large, it just seems that way because I’ve already cropped the picture twice. If I did so anymore, I fear I would mess it up when I’m quite happy with the way it looks--with a couple of exceptions. Yes, I suck at picture titles, I prefer naming stories, therefore ‘rain covered flower’ was sprung on you poor people.
Thank you for the comments, I do appreciate them. (The comment about liking the pink flower even though you disliked pink made me smile.) And the constructive criticism is appreciated. I’m afraid I’m not very god so far having only taken a few pictures and I don’t have photoshop, but I’ll try harder next time.

This is a gorgeous flower, its got such bright, consistent coloring. I'm amazed at how vibrant it seems even though its soaked, and I love the raindrops on the leaves. I also love the contrast between the leaves and the flower.

There is more to photography than just snapping a picture. You have to think about colours and textures and tones and arrangement. You have to think beyond "pretty flower". Anyone can take a photo of a pretty flower. You need more substance.
