It was a clear, sunny day in my neighborhood...

I know, these have been done five trillion times, but I just got a new battery for my camera and was excited. So anyways, these have all been edited (Kodak enhanced, sharpened, ect.) Nothing to extreme, but still not the originals. I could post the originals if ya'll want

And this one is a little different, I just thought it was cool. It was a blind shot (I didn't look through the eye-hole-thingy) for safety reasons. And I can't seem to get rid of the pink dot in the middle which is bugging me. Otherwise it's my favorite!


What would you all suggest I do differently, or the same, for future pictures? Review please!

Keep up the good work. You have a nice eye. I don't believe much can be done about the pink spot without using photshop or something, but I could be wrong.

Well, right down to it...

1st pic: Very pretty, I like how the shade of blue in the sky darkens as it goes up. Very fluid. I think I'd like it better, though, if there was actually something in the sky, like a rainbow or something. It's just kind of blank, and it takes all of two seconds before your viewer says "Okay, what's next?" I feel like pictures, nature pictures especially, should grab your attention and just hold it as you take in the world. Other than that, pretty colors, good light, good job.

3rd: I like this one more than the first two because there's actually something there. However, because you put so little of the trees, I'm left with the feeling of "Wait, what?" If you're going to put something in your picture, make sure that you can see more than just the tips. For example, I think this would have been so much more riveting if you'd zoomed in on ONE tree fully against the sky. The contrast to that would have been eyecatching and attention-grabbing. As is, it's an okay picture, but it doesn't really seem to have a focus, and ends up looking a little sloppy.

4th: All in all, love this photo. The clouds, the angle, the light, the shadows...all wonderful. Yes, pink spot is a tad off, but nothing Photoshop couldn't fix. Take what you did with this photo, and apply it to other subjects. You could even do a tree But seriously, you had something with this, and my only real complaint is the random tree sticking out of the side. Other than that, Bravo.
