Name: Joran

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Race: Leo

Appearance:
Lion
Human

As a human, Joran has shaggy dirty-blond hair and deep chocolate brown eyes that appear black at times. He has a slim build with long legs and arms. His smile is charming and innocent, and his clothing is often whatever he happens to grab first. He can often be seen without a shirt, but always has at least one weapon on him.

As a lion, his fur is the same color as his hair as a human, and his eyes remain brown as well. He is slim in this form as well, his build helping with speed and agility than with strength. His paws are large, claws sharp and eyes intelligent.

Personality: Joran is sweet and has good intentions. He's incredibly loyal and will put his life in danger to protect those he cares about without a second thought. He doesn't have a lot of patience and must always be doing something, which usually ends up being walking aimlessly or scouting for threats. He gets along well with most and tries to be helpful whenever he can.

Likes: Running, helping others and sleeping.

Dislikes: Feeling useless or in the way, being bored,

Weaknesses: When someone he cares about is threatened, he throws reason and logic to the wind. He will do anything to protect them.

Strengths: He's quick on his feet and not easily distracted.

History: Joran was born in the northern forests of Everlast. His father was a advisor to the old king and queen, as well as Queen Elyane and her late husband. When Elyane took over, Joran's father was killed because he had been close to the King and knew things that she wanted kept secret. Joran's mother took Joran into hiding with her and joined the forming rebel group. At the time, they were the only two of their kind who opposed the Queen, but that is no longer true.

Other: Possibly up for love.

---

Name: Mirrior

Age: 127

Gender: Genderless (Night Mares have no set gender, but instead choose their own based on what they want to be. Mirrior considers himself to be more male than female.)

Race: Night Mare

Appearance: Mirrior has no set appearance, as he takes the form of the worst fear of whoever he chooses. His favorite form to take was from a fear he experienced nearly fifty years ago, which looks something like this.

Personality: Mirrior is dark and bitter. He hates taking orders and being forced to do anything, which is exactly what he has to do most of the time. He's stubborn, spiteful, rebellious and sarcastic when he wants to be, but can be polite when it suits him. He's used to people fearing him, and doesn't really notice it anymore. He's incredibly cunning and intelligent.

Likes: Being left alone, freedom, the dark.

Dislikes: Taking orders, being forced to do anything, being in debt.

Weaknesses: He often acts before his mind has a chance to think about what he's doing, which usually results in trouble one way or another.

Strengths: Very cunning, not afraid to take chances. Good at taking advantage of a situation and twisting words around to better suit him.

History: Mirrior's early life was spent collecting fears. Then, one day, a few years ago, he was trapped by a few brave villagers from a small village he had recently been terrorizing. They were fully intent on killing him, but then one got the idea of asking the royal family if they had any use for him. The Queen immediately said yes, seeing him as a key part of her plans for the future. The king was more hesitant because of their new-born daughter, but eventually was persuaded otherwise by the Queen. Mirrior was sworn to serve and protect the royal family, or else be subjected to countless tortures before eventual death. Even since that day, he has hated the Queen for what she made of him, but has learned not to rebel openly against her because of the consequences. He eventually learned to tolerate the King because of the kindness he showed Mirrior despite what he was, but that kindness vanished along with the King's life. Now, the only person in the castle that does not show open fear or disgust towards Mirrior is the Princess, Isadora. Though Mirrior is still unsure whether to trust the young girl or not.

The only way for Mirrior to be released from his bonds to the royal family is be dismissed by one of them. If they all die before he is dismissed, he is to be killed himself.

Other: Not up for love.

---

Anyone is welcome to start this, or else I will begin tomorrow morning. There is a total of one spot left, and that is the Human. I will be making the Discussion Thread as soon as I post this.

Name: Sendai

Age: 23

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Appearance: Stands around 5 foot 6. Thin frame, but muscled like a gymnast. Wears her black hair braided to her waist. She's caucasian, but with a deep tan and brown eyes.

Personality: Subtle, sarcastic sense of humour. Rarely has a chance to express herself. Deeply sardonic.

Likes: Irony, freedom (as much as she's allowed to like it, given her training). Artistic expression.

Dislikes: Absolute moralists; people who see only balck and white and ignore the shades of grey.

Weaknesses: No magic powers. Unhinged in the crazy sense of the term.

Strengths: Almost supernaturally fast. Trained in ancient, long disused martial disciplines. Strong willed.

History: Commissioned nearly two decades ago, Sendai is a project ordered by the Queen. From infancy Sendai was trained as a royal assassin. Her training focussed around physical and mental discipline, with only cursory lessons in the use of poisons and other traditional hallmarks of the assassin. Her first kill was achieved on her fourteenth birthday when she slid a stilletto dagger between the fourth and fifth rib of a disloyal noble. The Queen maintains her loyalty through trigger words and phrases. These words force Sendai's loyalty; but this has only become an issue recently. Sendai has begun to question her role in the greater scheme and look for a way to change her circumstances.

Other: Vegetarian, plays the harp.
So you're going to kill a god. Sure. But what happens next?

Joran - Northern Everlast Forest

My paws barely touched the ground as I plunged through the forest, weaving between trees and leaping over fallen branches that blocked my path. The tiny rays of sunlight that managed to escape the leaves above glittered on my back like glowing embers, only to be snuffed out again by the shadows. The ground below was still damp with newly-fallen rain from the night before, the smell of it lingering pleasantly in the air. The only sound was the dead leaves rustling as I passed.

After what could've been seconds or hours, I finally slowed to a stop and looked around at my surroundings, searching for a landmark that would tell me where I was. Ahead, faintly visible above the trees was a string of white smoke that rose steadily towards the clear blue sky. My guess was that it came from a cabin, but I had never before been this far east so I wasn't sure what lay in this area of the forest.

The others would begin to wonder where I was soon, due to the fact that the sun was about to finish it's descent towards the horizon. The telltale wisps of pink and gold were beginning to show towards the west, and the shadows were lengthening. Usually, I would be back at the village by sundown, but judging by how far I had ran, it would take me at least three hours of hard running to get back, and by then it would be dark. My mother would worry, that much was for sure.

I wasn't sure when the next time I would be given this chance to explore would come again, and I was hesitant to give it up. Perhaps I could find a new source of water, and bring a few of our Hydros back to help carry it to the village. Or more food.

With a quiet sigh I decided to stay and look around for a bit, but promised myself I would not stay long. My absence from the village after sundown would cause a bit of stir, and I wouldn't hear the end of it for the next few days, but it might be worth it after all.

Mirrior - Throne Room in Everlast Castle

I had been summoned, again, like some dog to its owner. To come, humble and submissive, to do whatever bidding they had in mind. I was powerless to disobey, no matter how much I wanted to run as far away from this place I could. They had me bound, body and mind. Like a dog on a leash.

I paced back and forth furiously, a low snarl ripping from deep within my chest every so often. My eyes blazed with as much fury and hatred as I could muster as I waited for my master to show up and give her command. The only other being in the room besides myself was a lowly servant, who stood up against the far wall, his eyes locked on my constantly-moving form which just happened to be a large black wolf at the time. Coincidentally, his worse fear.

A particularly vicious snarl escaped from behind my barred teeth as the doors opened to allow a single person entry. Her long blond hair was done up elegantly atop her head, blue eyes cold and merciless as ever. She cast an irritated glance at the servant before waving dismissively. He disappeared from the room.

"Oh, stop it, Mirrior. You know complaining isn't going to get you anywhere," the queen said, her voice dripping with displeasure and disinterest. "I've got something that might just make you happy, if you're even capable of that emotion. And change your form. I like to think I'm talking to something other than an stupid beast."

With a final menacing growl I changed, easily becoming the exact image of the late King. Queen Elyane cast me a tired, annoyed look.

"Isn't there something else you can change into? Oh well, it will have to do for the moment, I suppose. Better than talking to an animal."

"You said you had something for me?" I asked, my voice sounding like the King's as well.

"Something to do, yes. I need you to sniff out the rebel hiding place and bring me back one of them. I don't care if it's their leader or not, just so long as they can talk. You are not permitted to harm them in any way that would hinder them from telling me what I want to know. Do you think you could do this for me?"

"Would anyone else be coming along, or would I be alone?"

"Take Sendai or Taivas with you. Or both, if you think it would help."

I sighed and nodded my head. At least it would be better than doing measly chores around the castle, and would provide a chance for me to get out for more than a few brief minutes. Almost anything was better than that, and it had been too long since I had seen the outside world.

"I'll do it," I agreed.

Taivas - Royal Gardens at Everlast Castle

The gardens were almost surreal. In a land that had become covered in darkness, with beauty stifled by the queen's iron grip and hateful suppression of all activity that could give rise to rebellion, the gardens stood as a symbol of the old kingdom. A place of peace and beauty, which the queen hadn't had torn up merely because she liked it, and didn't realise that it could provide a symbol of freedom.

Taivas liked it because the wind liked it. Especially now, in early autumn. Leaves swirled down peacefully from the trees, and he caught them, made them sail about on the light breeze like birds, or tiny ships.

"Taivas." Someone behind him said. He chose to ignore the voice, instead gathering a few leaves into a small vortex of air, watching them swirl around, sending them up to crackle under the force of the spinning air. Fragments of leaves exploded into the air around Taivas, drifting down like confetti.

"Taivas." The voice said again. This time, he turned around, giving the entertainer a mildly interested look. The woman smiled benignly at him, taking his innocent games with the wind and her experience of his nonsensical conversations to be a sign of a weak mind, "Would you like to play a game?" She asked, pointing to a satchel at her side.

He shrugged in reply, "I am already playing a game. The air itself is a game, who knows if it will choose to remain with us forever." Taivas gave the entertainer a serious look, "That is why I have to play games with it, so it doesn't leave." The woman didn’t realise it, but Taivas was referring to himself, and his growing boredom with her children’s games. He tilted his head, “Do you have any new games today?”

She smiled and drew a box out, "Your next game is inside this." She tossed it to him, "But opening this box will be a challenge in itself."

He smiled, maybe one of his other attendants had told her that he preferred games that made him think.

"Also," the woman said, apparently absent-mindedly, "You will be going on a challenge with Mirrior, and maybe Sendai. You have to go with them to find someone who has hidden themselves, and then you have to bring that person back to the castle as quickly as possible without letting them get away."

He paused in his trying to figure out the box's secret. Mirrior. He didn't like him, there was far too much anger inside him. Far too much desire to hurt. But this challenge, combined with the challenge presented by the box sounded like it could be fun.

Ryan~~

I climbed up to the surface from my cave. It was getting to cold in there for my liking, so I need some sun bathing to warm me. The cave I lived in opened up to the shore, or the forest, today I headed to the forest. Not only did I need a warm up, but I also needed some more food. So when I finally I arrived at the exit I was relieved to see a bush filled with berries near by, but not someone else picking from my shrubs.

"Hey what are you doing," I said after I had sealed my home entrance, "Those are my shrubs." The man seemed a bit shocked, but soon realized what he was doing.

"I'm sorry. Its just that my village needs food, even a little, so if you would let me take even a few, I would be very thankful," He said after he recovered.

"Okay, take from that bush and only that one," I told him, he nodded picked them all.

"Thank you very much, I'm Joran, I'm a Leo," he said and extended his hand.

"I'm Ryan, I'm a Hydro," I said and shook his hand.

At the word of Hydro his eyes lit up, " A Hydro, We need one of you. Our village is in a dire need of water, so-," I cut him off.

"I'll come with you, I could use a break from my home, so cold, I would love to stay in the sun for awhile, So lead me and I'll help."

"Sure, come with me," He said and took off. I followed behind.

I realized I forgot to post the profiles. Sorry about that guys!
Anyway, here it is:

Name:Talia
Age: 17
Gender:Female
Race: Pixie
Appearance: So I will have pictures, but I'll describe her first. She has red/orange (redish orange I guess, more red though) hair that's short and in a pixie cut (no pun intended, I guess). She has bright golden eyes and a freckle close to her left eye that looks like its ink (because its dark, black really).
So this is what she wears a lot (but its not that short):http://OmTivi.deviantart.com/art/Red-Fairy-98203668 She wears an orange cloak too. She has small little orange wings that are strong, but can't hold much more than her.
Height: About 5 inches
Personality: Talia keeps many secrets. She doesn't always trust people, just because she herself deceives people. She gets easily distracted by many things (especially if they're shiny). She's extremely loyal once she's on one side.
Likes: Red, orange, and brown.(she only wears these colors). Shiny things. Riding birds. Sitting on people's shoulders or hats/head when she doesn't want to fly. Sneaking around. Fire. Flying through the grass when there is dew on it.
Dislikes: People that trust others too quickly, she finds it stupid.Purple. She loves the rain, but hates being outside in it when she has to fly (because its much too hard for her). Ignorant people, when someone has absolutely no idea about something and yet they side on it, bother her.( she believes that people have their opinions, but they should be well justified).
Weaknesses:She's very clumsy for someone who can fly. She can use dagers, but she is terrible at fighting with them. Or anything sharp with a point.
Strengths: Poisoning and manipulating energy.
History:Talia was brought up by her mother in the woods outside the castle. She was taught about the herbs and plants and how to take energy, how to give it, and how to manipulate it basically. She was taken when she was very little, by the people of the castle. They gave her a small little room (which to her was the perfect size) which she filled with all the things she liked. Soon, she became loyal to the queen. She does not work directly for the queen, but she does act as a spy and give the information to some of the castle guards.
Starting Side: The Queen's side
Other: She has a little pet pixie frog. He looks a lot like this: http://IgorSan.deviantart.com/art/Pixie-Frog-61455479
Except he walks on four legs and is a little more frog like. (the facial structure is relatively the same,) and he's 2 inches and named Ace. Talia is up for love

Kayla~Adron's cottage

"Don't hurt yourself!" I said, rushing over to Adron's aid who was leaning over a black kettle pot over a fire.

"How many times do I have to tell you," I groaned, "not to touch the pot without a cloth." I pushed Adron's wrinkly worn hand away and took the top off the pot to stir the soup around. It was burning hot and steam was coming out. If it weren't for the window, the whole cottage would have been filled with smoke from the fire.

"Smells delicious." Adron said, grumpily going back to his desk.

"That's because I made it, you old geezer. Now sit down at the table and I'll feed you some." I said, taking the pot off the rack and putting it on the wooden counter to cool.

Adron yawned and sat at his desk instead and went through his studies. His gray eyes sagged and his pure white hair was a mess.

"I don't know why I let you stay with me. You're a spirit, go back to where you belong." Adron said, reading a book.

"You need me. I need you. And you know why I can't go back." I said, sighing. Why did he have to remind me? "Shush and eat."

I reached up to the cabinet and grabbed a bowl and started pouring the soup.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.

"Open up! This is a search for rebels. Orders of the Queen!" The voice said.

*I have no idea if this is ok or not...*

Adron

Adron froze. He stood up numbly and crossed the room to open the door. Armed soldiers glared up at him with beady eyes.

"Come in, sir," he said quietly. The soldier glared at him for a moment before pushing past Adron. Adron closed the cottage door slowly. He turned, glancing at Kayla, who was nervously wringing a towel. The soldier turned to face Adron, his pig-face scrunched up.

"Who's she?" he demanded, pointing at Kayla.

"My friend and companion, Kayla. I, as you may know, am a sorcerer. Kayla is one of my spirits."

The soldier snorted, then moved into the back of the cottage. The second that he rounded the corner and was out of sight, Adron motioned for Kayla to come forward.

"What do we do?" whispered Kayla frantically. Adron kept his eyes over her shoulder, watching for the soldier.

"We go to Laedin," he muttered back. "If that soldier knows anything about my previous involvement with the Queen..." Adron shuddered. "Come... we must go now."

The pair crossed the room wordlessly and exited the cottage quietly. Adron quickly set about readying his horse. After a moment, he turned to Kayla.

"Go to Laedin's cave. Tell him I'm on my way," Adron climbed up onto the great speckled horse. "And explain to him the situation. I'll be there within the hour."

Adron watched at Kayla transformed into a lark and sped off. Adron urged his horse down the road hurriedly.

Joran - Northern Everlast Forest

The Hydro, Ryan he had said his name was, followed me through the forests as I sprinted as fast as my two legs would carry me. In my exploring, I had found it was easier to move around as a human rather than a large lion, so I had changed forms.

The sun was beginning to finally disappear, and the golds and pinks in the sky deepened as we raced towards them.

"How far away is your village?" Ryan called, his voice faint as he ran.

I slowed to allow us to run side-by-side as I answered, "I'd been running a good part of the day. At this pace, we won't be there for a few hours yet."

"Aren't these woods dangerous once it gets dark?"

"For an unarmed human, perhaps. Do you have any weapons on you?"

"Only a small dagger. I usually stay close to water of some sort and use that as a weapon. I have a small supply with me that I could use if I need to. Will we stop for the night?"

I shook my head. "I'm already late in getting back. When you get tired let me know. We can't slow down until we get there. The Queen has many spies in these woods, and if one of them found us who knows what could happen."

"How do you know I'm not a spy for the Queen?" Ryan asked hesitantly. I cast him an amused glance.

"Because she never sends them as far east as you were. She wouldn't bother, because there's hardly anything there."

He nodded and put his head down slightly as he ran, fists clenched as tightly as they would go. I continued at his pace, running at his side. Soon, darkness would swallow the woods.

Mirrior - The Castle Corridors

The castle corridors were darkening with the coming of night, and I passed several servants carrying torches to be placed on the walls. Those that saw me pressed themselves against the walls or quickly turned down a different hallway, carefully keeping their eyes diverted. I ignored them and continued on, again in the form of the wolf.

Suddenly a door to my right opened and I jumped back quickly to avoid being smothered by the thick, cream-colored fabric of a most likely priceless dress. A startled gasp sounded from above as the person caught sight of me and stepped back. I looked up and put one paw out in front of me, lowering my head in the form of a bow. If a servant did not bow in the presence of royalty, it was common knowledge that you would be punished. And enduring some form of torture was not on the top of my to-do list today.

"Oh, Mirrior, you scared me," Princess Isadora said with a pleasant smile. She seemed to be one of the only people in the castle that did not show open disgust or fear towards me.

"I get that often, Princess," I responded, moving to the side to edge around her. "It seems I scare a lot of people. I wonder why that could be."

Kayla

I flew as fast as I could towards Laedin's cave. I knew where it was by heart. The Queen did routine checks for rebels but ever since the revolt she's been a bit paranoid.

I closed my eyes for a moment thinking about the night when some of us rebels decided to sneak into the Castle and steal things I do not know of. It was a top-secret mission that I was not a part of. I became a member of the Everstop Society by default as I knew too much about Adron. I had no choice but to become a rebel and follow the Leo's. More and more, I admire the Leo's especially one named Joran bravery and I too feel a tugging at my heart to fight against the Queen.

I opened my eyes again with a jolt just to make sure I was on the right path. I was as usual from all my trips to visit Laedin. Though, this time it was not for fun and games. I came to Laedin for help. If those soldiers found Adron's papers, we would be done for.

I quickly landed at Laedin's cave and transformed back into a human. I walked inside the cave to find Laedin fast asleep.

"Laedin! Soldiers are in the cottage!" I said, firmly, shoving his side.

*I hope this is ok you guys. I have to look back at the first post to make sure*

Sendai - Castle Corridors

I know it's still meant to be a time of mourning, but all of these black-clad servants and guards make this place seem like an evil lair. But then I suppose every evil queen needs a dark lair, and this *is* her castle.

Sendai hung perched in a particularly narrow section of corridor, about fifteen feet above the servants who scuttled along below her. Luckily the shadows completely obscured her from sight. It was uncomfortable, with her arms and legs wedged against the walls, but at least no-one knew where to find her.

"Sendai, Sendai where are you girl?" Tobias; her current handler. He treated her in the same manner as all of her previous handlers: a foolish child. It was the image she liked to present of herself.

She hung there, waiting as the voice came nearer through the corridors, as her handler drew closer.

He was so close she could hear his sigh of exasperation, "Sendai Samsdottr, show yourself at once!" Tobias shouted.

It wasn't her real surname, she'd never had one. It was, however, a trigger word that was tailored for Tobias explicitly.

Without a second thought, Sendai dropped to the corridor, landing gracefully about fifteen feet ahead of Tobias.

He grimaced. "You're to report to Mirrior, he and Taivas have been given a mission of some sort and have been given the option of your assistance."

Sendai tilted her head in acquiscence before sauntering off in search of the creature.

Great, she mused. The downside of being considered a foolish girl is that one fionds oneself subordinate to a monster and an idiot.
So you're going to kill a god. Sure. But what happens next?

Tallia-Pixie-Her room

I slid my hands through my hair as I looked through the tinny shard of a mirror that had broken years back. Surrounding it were pieces of mica and a few other objects I deamed worthy.

My room was small-it didn't need to be big- and at the top of where the birds were kept for messages. It was a pointless little place in the castle,to anyone else. There had originally been something here, what, I wasn't sure, but it had been removed when our devoted Queen took the throne. Before, I had been living in drawers and such I thought this room was much better. There weren't any birds that could get in here, and-thankfully- I couldn't hear them either.
I put my red, short hair up in two playfull pony tales.

"Tallia?" I heard the voice of a guard. Quckly, I blew out the flame of the small candle and flew out

"Yes?"

"The Queen is wondering if you have started on your duties yet."

"Tell her highness that I am on my way to do so and that I am always willing to fulfill her wishes and commands." He nodded and left.
I realized that I said I'd be gone for only two weeks...but I was gone for much longer.I hope to stay on this time. :)

Taivas - Castle Corridors

Taivas' eyes remained fixed on the box as he made his way down the corridor, soldiers and courtiers moving respectfully out of his way. Inside... He thought. How do I open it, then? It appeared to be a single block of wood, without even a single groove in it. He paused, smiling at it for a long moment, and then gathered a bubble of air around it and began to rotate it. Almost immediately, glyphs lit up on the cube's surface, written in a language he could half-comprehend.

The game had been taken from the Air temple in the north, and probably contained some kind of riddle. No doubt the queen believed this riddle contained information of the temple's secrets, but she couldn't open it. Only an Aeromaniac could, it required both understanding of the script and an ability to manipulate the air. He recognised the design from his early childhood, although that didn't help in solving it. He still had to solve the six outer puzzles first, still had to check the glyphs against the books the queen kept.

"I get that often, Princess." A voice said from around the corner. Taivas should have been out of hearing distance, but the wind carried back messages to him, allowing him to hear things he shouldn't. "It seems I scare a lot of people. I wonder why that could be." The voice continued.

A moment later, the speakers rounded the corner, exactly as Taivas had expected. Mirrior and the Princess. Mirrior was, thankfully, just a wolf, and not in the shape of one of Taivas' two great fears. Many a time had the Nightmare transformed himself into Taivas' old tutor from the temple, or worse, a powerful looking Geomaniac, all covered in rocks and seemingly devoid of openings for air.

Taivas raised a hand in greeting to the two wanderers, stopping where he was. He slid the cube into his pocket again. He'd return to the game later, because for the time being, he had to play a game of words with the monster in the corridors.
