Hi there! Welcome to the YWS!!!!!! Have you already went to the Welcoming Forum?? If don't, go and introduce yourself to all of the comunity! We are very friendly here!
No the pictures:
These are really great! The scenario photos- landscapes and views- are very lovely. I loved the sky, the colours are great. The cat photo should be post in another post, it doesn't fit with the other pictures but that's okay. The mushroom image is my favourite; it's centered, focus and doesn't have any other element to distract from the actual idea (which is the mushroom).
Picture 1: We can see the fence in it, I know it's back in the picture but it don't look that nice. For the next time, search for a place with the elements that you want and no more then that. The tree on the left it doesn't fit on the image, it's too noticed. Improve that aspect.
Picture 2: Really nice, I like the sun appearing behind the tree in the middle of the branches. It's really creative. I don't have any technical major error to declare.
Picture 3: Really cute! And very focus. What's the name of your cat? (if it is even yours...)
Picture 4: Really nice too. Very clever of yours to take the picture with the sunset. The sun gives a much warm and welcoming feeling. The components are very well divided and the image is balanced. I love the open space in the middle with the more dense nature around it.
Picture 5: I already review it but it could be more focus. Did you use the Macro function? I hope so....
Very good work you have here!
I want to see you active in here!!
Good luck!
Anything just PM me and I will answer as soon as possible!!
Hey, thanks so for much for the review of my pictures. I'm glad you liked them. Yes, the picture of the cat is mine, and her name is Zoe. I like the mushroom one very much too, and I did use the macro function. I took it with with my old cannon camera though, I just got a new Nikon SLR, which has manual focus, which I like a lot more because it gives you more control over the focus. Also I think the mushroom doesn't look as focused because it's actually a really big picture and it looks better when it's much bigger. So yeah, thanks again for all your tips, I'll take a look at some of your work soon
Hiya! Hmm. Not much to say on these. But I shall nag you by saying that for every time you post your work, you need to review two pieces by others. This is known as the 2:1 ratio.
As Shauni said, I suggest you head on over to the Welcome forum! You'll meet plenty of wonderful, friendly people there willing to help you.
Now on to the pictures:
(I'm not a great picture critic, I'll give you that.)
1.) This was okay, not your best. The fence irritated me a bit, but I loved the beautiful clouds in the sky.
2.) I really like this one! I love the sun appearing behind the tree. Good job.
3.) Ahh! I'm not much of a cat person. *laughs nervously* Great focus, though.
4.) I love this one. It really reminds me of the newest Pride & Prejudice movie when they're walking in the field with the sun rising.
5.) This and 4 are my favorites. I thought the focus was just a little off, but pretty good. I love the subject and the angle!
*Comes to a halt while passing through some photographs.*
Wow, I love these.
1.) This is amazing, beautiful sky, great colors, the silhouette of the trees and other vegetation is great. AS for the fence, I don't think it's a big deal, fences aren't ugly if they are shot the right way. In this photograph I don't think it's a problem but since somebody pointed it out I thought I'd give my two cents: move over so you can get more of the fence in, so it feels like it belongs, not just part of it.
Since it looks like a chicken wire fence it would be even cool to take a shot through them, have the fence lines showing, it would be nifty, just a thought.
2.) This one's my favorite! It reminds me of the movie Pride and Prejudice, have you seen it? There's one scene where the couple finds each other in this field, it's shot very beautifully, just like this photo.
Actually, PM, I'd really like permission to make this my background on my computer!
The lighting is great, how you let only part of the sun show through the tree, and the mist is just so great!
3.) Oh cute, this is my favorite cat picture, i like the angle you took, and even the cats position. One nit pick, if the cat was on a solid color surface that would be better, also what's that in the back, left hand corner? It's distracting. All in all, cute photo, cute cat!
4.) *sad face* this one didn't load, sorry.
5.) Ha, brilliant, a mushroom growing on a tree branch, is it? Don't see that in photographs very often. Good job focusing on it!
NIce pictures you've got there! Wait, how many pics have you put up? I seem to be able to see only 3. The silhouette, cat and mushroom.
1. This is brilliant (Personally, I'm a sucker for any silhouett-ish things) So I'm gonna try and comment on it in an unbiased way. Besides what the others have said, I think you should zoom in a little more, because there's too much. I would have you to move left and zoom in more for a good effect.
2. Cat: Aww... Soo cute. It's a really nice picture, I love the way her whiskers are prominently focused. (It's the one which is upside down) And the background is a bit distacting. I would have preferred a more clean bg, but since it's an animal, I guess it can't be done.
3. Mushrrom: OMG. I love this. I love the way the background is all fuzzy. I can't seem to find anything to nitpick at. Good work with it!

I absolutely loved the photographs of the sunsetting. I confess, sunsets have always been a favorite of mine, and when captured, it can be stunning. These pictures caught that. My favorite is the sun setting through the tree. The cat is cute!!

Whoa you're a really good photographer! Nice job on these! I love how in the first two pictures the sunlight bends around the trees. The effect is just gorgeous and utterly amazing. And, your cat is adorable! I want a cat now! **is jealous** The third picture is really similar to one I took. Except mine was taken in negative, and everything was backwards. That's a lot of fun to try out. The mushroom is just so random, yet too cute! Overall, these pictures were all really good! Nice job on these, you seem to be a really good photographer!

Love is the answer to life yet the slowest form of suicide. Love is a paradox. And that's why we love it.
Hello! Nice pictures! Photography has recently become a passion of mine, so I always like to see what my peers can come up with! Well, I very much like the sunset photos. Very nice, and visually uplifting. But I must confess, i have never really been a huge fan of sunset/sunrise pictures. they all look the same to me. Isn't that terrible? Anyway, that's my issue, not yours so I'm not criticizing you on that! I loved the cat picture with the whimsical angle! So cute! Yes, the mushroom had to be my absolute favorite. It was such a fresh idea, you never see pictures of mushrooms! very nice, and very good lighting!!
I'm obsessively opposed to the typical.

Hey there! Nice photographs!
You captured very well the essence of nature.
You got the right color and texture of the photograph. And you captured very well it's not blurry. Your photographs is more on silhouette. Try other! Try nature portraits!
Great job you made, Jade!
Rating: 5 stars.
Awesome! I loved these. Uh... I don't know what else to say. I've not really reviewed pictures before! But! Could you possible grab some night photos... to me those are the best. Not that these aren't awesome. I... uh... I'll go now. I'm rambling. Nice pictures
