This takes place in the unforseen future where a massive event took place that when it ended, only
3 World Powers survived, and they soon quickly formed under new names:
Barons of the world(Occupies Europe and Most of Eastern Russia)
The Time Empire(Occupies the rest of asia and Australia)
Freedom Fighters( Occupies Western Heimsphere)

The Barons of the world fight for a Monarchy
The Time Empire fight based on their homeland of Japan old ways
Freedom fighters...well, they fight for Democracy

Because of their great distance, the powers quickly began to train their populance in the art of flying.
And soon took flight in massive airships to transport troops and planes...which quickly became the central points of battles.
The Power that rules of the air shall take control of the whole world...Are you ready to fight?

Name: Conrad Vissarionovich
Rank: Aerial Marine
Airship: Clerkenwell
Power: Barons
Age: 25
Personality: He's grim and doesn't speak much, a result of ten years experience in jumping on to an enemy's airship and fighting tooth and claw with their marines. He regards the pilots with a little disdain, because he feels they don't put their lives at the same risk that the marines do, and are little more than glorified bodyguards for the boarding craft.
Appearance: Average height, but broad, with a mechanic's outfit from the time he spent in that role. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and stubble across his face. His eyes seem constantly red-rimmed from the lack of sleep he gets.
History: Until the age of fifteen, he worked as a mechanic for the planes of the Clerkenwell. After that time, though, he signed up for the Aerial Marines, hoping for swashbuckling adventure. He was introduced to a hard reality that was nothing like his dream, and the violence he was put through on his first raid almost desensitised him to the world around him.

Name: Jake Tucker
Rank: Tengu (Heavenly Dog - Pilot)
Airship: Musashi
Power: Time Empire
Age: 17
Personality: Cocky, and nearly always smiling. He's very sure of his own ability, and often refuses to stop talking. Just as often, he gets told to stop talking himself up. He loves the thrill of flight, and the adrenaline rush that comes from dogfighting even more. He dislikes his country (Australia) having been annexed by the Japanese, but he puts up with it, because he regards it as patriotic, following his nation's leaders.
Appearance: Tall and athletic, with messy blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and a smile plastered almost permanently across his face. He is usually seen in his flight uniform.
History: Flying is in his blood, his father was regarded as something close to a legend by the other pilots of his generation, along with another four. He has been flying assisted since the age of five, his father frequently taking him out to learn the most basic controls of a plane. By the time he was ten, he’d moved on to the more advanced controls. He showed the same knack for flying as his father had, and formally joined a squadron when he turned fourteen, very young in the Time Empire. Although he is not yet at his ‘prime’ when it comes to flying, he is good for a seventeen year old.
He had decided to live forever or die in the attempt. - Yossarian, Catch-22

Many ask why I take such pleasure in flying.
Why is it that I risk my life to fight for something that I personally don't believe in?
Well, in truth, I personally think that this...war or whatever you call it is a excuse for people like to me
to fly and get real good money for it.
-So you were poor?
I was. Lived in the city of Pennington before joining the grand Freedom fighters.
If you ask me, the world leaders are just sad excuses of men...
-sir?
This war is just another excuse for the world powers to fight over which one has the
bigger (word removed by editor)!
-What about the people who are living in Africa? The Freedom fighters are..-
Trying to fight for their rights from the barons and Time empire. Thats the same excuse the Barons
and Time empire said! Do you think this war is about freedom!?
-I think were do..-
BULL! THIS WAR IS FOR MONEY! ALL FOR THE POWER(Editors removal) MONEY! ALL FOR THE POWER AND MONEY!
(That was the words of Captain Ray Trevor before being dishonorably discharged and disappearing from
radar in his private cockpit plane)

Marie~~

Marie looked out of the window of her private room and sighed at the abyss of blackness outside. She had been rescued, again, she had been kidnapped, again, and was wondering when someone was finally gonna teach herself some martial arts or something, again. She fiddled with two pieces that produced sparks when they hit, the only thing they had left her with to play with, she sighed in utter boredom because the idiots didn't know that she could rig this fancy ship to blow like a nuclear bomb.

"How are you doing miss?" A private came in and asked her.

"Can I come out yet?"

"No" he said tartly and quickly closed the door behind him.

I threw the minerals against the door and they blew the door,

Heheheh

No one had heard it and she expertly stepped over the debris,

Finally! some freedom!

She thought to herself and wandered down the hall, all hell started to break loose. She didn't like the whole idea of them looking all over the place for her when really she was right there, but the poor saps had no clue what she looked like so she just stepped around the lines of Marines running down the narrow hallways. She smiled when she made it to the part she wanted to get to, the steering sector. Marie sat and spun in the swivel chair, right infront of the wheel.

"Marie.." The captain dragged.

"Bart." Marie smirked at him

Ms/Dr. Evolet Ray

It is times like this when I miss land, a real home. Although my accommodations are more than satisfactory I feel a little lonely in this place. This war hungry air bubble floating in the sky carrying the best troops. Troops whose mind's are so complex, so lost in these waging wars. Their bodies torn and injured from the numerous amount of battles they‘ve been engaged in. Even at my strongest, I still have a burning in my heart for a peaceful life, one where I’m not alone - isolated.

Some have been doing this since childhood, following their father’s footsteps. I myself am the opposite of my father; I live to save people, not to harm them.
I would never tell my superior this but if I’d ever been given the chance, I’d save a life of a freedom fighter, of any human being.
I keep to myself hiding in my office and clinic, helping those who come to me.

A light turbulence rumbled through my office, causing my tea to ripple in reaction. I was never going to get any work done pondering what could be while looking out the window.
I closed the blinds to my rather homey office, the dark wood and leather was a soothing environment for the air troops who came to confide in me.

Walking out and down the corridor, I found my way to the clinic, looking over a few broken men I assessed them and checked their vitals.
Once I finished my rounds, I began to walk back to my office, hoping that I might get the chance to help somebody new today.

***Opening for any character to come into my office NOTE: it can be an involuntary visit, forced by a superior***

**I hope this is okay by you, Cat, but I thought I'd make a General-type character for everyone to use, maybe as an antagonist or something. I just thought it would be a good idea for all three sides to have a commander**

Name: Kaito Yamada

Gender: Male

Rank: Fleet Commander

Airship: Kagirinai

Power: Time Empire

Age: 50

Personality: He is constantly calm, even in the midst of battle with enemy craft flying around his flagship. He is not known for yelling at those who make mistakes or disappoint him, rather, he commands them to commit hara-kiri. He is a harsh man, and expects total loyalty and efficiency from his men, and considers pacifists both laughable and treasonous.

Appearance: Similar to this, but he wears the khaki uniform of a Time Empire admiral, with a single medal pinned to his jacket - the Rising Sun, showing that he has received the highest honour one can in the Empire.

History: He was enrolled in officer's school by his family when he turned eighteen, and rose quickly to the rank of Airship Captain by the time he was twenty-four. By the age of thirty he had been awarded the Rising Sun, recognised as a hero for the successful defence of an area of Western Russia. He was promoted to the rank of Fleet Commander at the age of forty, and is held in high regard by the Emperor.

Conrad

The burning wreck of an airship descended slowly into the cloud layer below them, Conrad watching its fall. On the deck, he could see soldiers, pilots and mechanics of the Time Empire frantically rushing about, spraying water and suppressive foams over the fires that licked the deck of their airship. One hour... thought Conrad, That's all it took.

He leaned on the rail and stared down at the scene, almost disturbing in its serenity. A lone plane - one of the ones that had never taken off - turned a little as the Empire ship tilted, the jet rolling to the edge and crashing through the railing, tumbling down to disappear into the clouds.

"Vissarionovich." A stern voice - that of the captain of marines aboard the Clerkenwell - broke through his thoughts, "What on earth are you doing there?"

Conrad didn't answer until the enemy airship had completely disappeared, seeing it turn into the violent plunge that would hammer it mercilessly into the ground. "I was watching it."

"Your morbid curiosities aren't disguising your injuries, soldier. You're more cut up than most of the men. I want you to see Doctor Ray." Conrad spun around, a look of anger on his face, but the officer held up a finger, "No arguments, sergeant. You need it, and there's nothing else constructive you can do right now."

Conrad stuck his hands in his pockets and made his way down into the airship, to the medical floor. He nodded to a few soldiers and mechanics, muttering welcomes, but he ignored the pilots just as they ignored him.

He pushed open the door to the doctor's office, "Officer Schultz said to come see you about my injuries, Doctor Ray." He slumped down in one of the chairs in front of the doctor's desk, "Hope you don't mind."
He had decided to live forever or die in the attempt. - Yossarian, Catch-22

Ms/Dr Evolet Ray

I finished jotting down a few notes before I set my pen aside and looked up to the badly beaten man.

"Here's his file, Dr. Evolet," my assistant handed me a rather large file before exiting the room and shutting the door.

I made my own assessment of the man. Clearly he was a Marine, his cuts and bruises gave it away.
His brown eyes were lethargic - blood shot - from a probable lack of sleep. The six o'clock shadow that lined his strong jaw line told me he wasn‘t given much time to himself. While his short black hair suggested he liked to keep things well managed.

I Opened the file, passing through an overload of information: where he was born, who he was friends with on the ship and so forth. That information was too personal for me to read, I always preferred the troops did so themselves.
I skipped to the last page which would tell me the present matters.
Name: Conrad Vissarionovich
Work history: Childhood-15 yrs. Worked as a mechanic for Clerkenwell.
15-25 yrs. Aerial Marine for Clerkenwell

Conrad sat back, relaxing in the comfortable room. You could tell this was a woman’s office, just by the floral sent that seemed to radiate off of Evolet.

“Mr. Conrad Viss-a-ri-on-ovich,” she tried to pronounce the last name, “is it?”

“Close enough,” he settled.

“It says here that Officer Schultz is putting you in my hands for today,” she pulled out a letter and placed it in his view.

“Well I’m really fi-”

Evolet cut Conrad off, “yes, I can tell by the stitches on your arm,” she noticed the rather bad patching as soon as he sat down. “I can also tell you without a doubt those stitches weren’t done by me.”

“You do whatever it takes to fix yourself when you're in battle.” He justified himself.

Evolet gave him an unpleasing look, but inside she admired him for it. Most people would of left the wound open for infection, she found it brave and wise for him to of acted so quickly.

“I’m going to do regular examinations, nothing to be to worried about, and I will fix up any other wounds you need stitched.” She smiled, while peering out the top of her glasses she rarely wore.

Poetry is my cheap means of transportation. By the end of the poem the reader should be in a different place from where he started. I would like him to be slightly disoriented at the end, like I drove him outside of town at night and dropped him off in a cornfield.
