Hey there.

I just keep on finding photographs lol prepared to be seeing them around for a while I guess. However I think I showed you my best ones already :p So get ready to be a wee bit disappointed.

A church! I got to so many I can't remember what it's called lol I can see the nit pick of 'the branches cover too much of the church' lol

Image

Chimney - Bird. Bird - Chimney. I totally remember where I took all my photos...I think it's a Buzzard actually looking at the wing feathers.

Image

Helmsley castle. We got there at like 9am but we didn't have enough money for me and my dad to go in. So I went in by myself and there was no one else there! It was awesome!

Image

Follow the...tiny...dirt...path? Behind Greta Bridge.

Image

Helmsley castle again on a different day though. Some people have said this is sort of a photo within a photo. See if you can guess why lol

Image

Helmsley castle again! Can you tell I found a certain folder I liked :D

Image

An Abbey, can't remember where :/ I'll have to ask my dad lol

Image

Abbey Again. I have a few more of these but will post them later.

Image

Nature sort of did the work for me! lol On the Walk up Scar Fell Pike. The Highest Mountain in England. I posted this just because, it's pretty! :D I have more from Scar Fell Pike as well.

Image

And the last one is for fun! It makes me giggle lol

Image

Lots more to come if you want them! :D Hope you enjoyed them! Let me know what you think.

Becki, no fair. You clearly get to visit so many beautiful places. I am insanely jealous, but also very glad to see this pictures!

Hmm, not madly keen on the first two actually.
3: o.O Looks like half a castle? Very cool. I love castles. So whereabouts is it, out of interest? Anyway, trying to be constructive here... but I'm not good with the technical stuff. All seems good to me.
4: Aww. It looks like it should be in a Beverley Nichols book. I love it. I know I'm commenting more on the landscape than your actual photography here, but I'm rather at a loss for how you 'could improve'. It's impossible to, anyway, without going back in time *mind boggles*. Love the wonky tree + even wonkier footpath...
5: Hmm, don't like it so much as the others.
6: :) I can see a little pigeon or something on there.
7&8: Very beautiful. Are these all in the North? I must go there one day!
9: Aesthetically-speaking, I like this one best. All the colours, the composition, the warmth I can feel from it...
10: Haha! That's very cool 8)

1.) It's good, don't worry about the branches. The angle is nice, and the shadowing under the trees is great! the light on the church is good too.
2.) not very fond of this one, it's rather dark. I think it would of been better if it was more distinct, like if there was more smoke, thicker and if the bird wasn't in it. Also if the sky was brighter and the house was more of a silhouette.
3.) Awesome picture! That would of been so cool to go in there, but I'm really curious to see what the other side looks like, it appears to be ruined?
4.) Oh I love this one, tree pictures are one of my favorites. I like how you cut off the top and the side of the tree, the angle on the path is really good, plus the contrast of the blue sky really pops, great job.
5.) This one is brilliant! It is a photo within a photo, just like you said, the girl in the corner is great. I think if you were to of angled the top of the camera forward more the picture would look more balanced. Right now the top is farther away than the bottom, this is hard to explain but I'm sure you get it.
6.) This one is great, the lower angle, the shadows on the bottom and *Gasps* did you even manage to get a bird in the photo? More sky would be great.
7.) You're really good at angles, and architectural stuff like this is great to take pictures of!
8.) Oh this one is great, you have lots of sky, and clouds, the shadows are a nice dark contrast to everything, and it's nice and far away to get a good view.
9.) Oh another brilliant one, nice shadowing from the clouds and a beautiful view of the valley. I think if you were to of taken this shot on the ground but still shown the valley it could of looked even cooler!
10.) Ha, love this one, it looks like something out of a mountain magazine.

Overall, i love your photographs, good work. Where was this all taken? It looks like a beautiful place to live. Keep up the great photography!

WOW! That's an amazing place that you've been to. Where is it?

1. It's okay, but I love the shadow play on the bushes below. it looks interesting.
2.Honestly, it isn't all that good. It isn't one that would captivate my eye. I guess you could enhance it by making it black and white and adjusting contrast. (Can I do that and see what comes of it??)
3.Is it the photo or the building that's tilted? Nice one, anyways!
4.I love this, though I would've preferred if you had sort of taken the picture from a lower angle, sort of like a angling up toward the sky while crouching. (Not toomuch angling though)
5.My fave. I just so totally love this. Very nice idea, the pic has come out really well.
7. I like the sideways effect of this. It's nice.
8. This is really good too! Great view. Though I would prefer it, if it was tweaked a bit for colour. Then it would look like one of those photos in a magazine.
I guess the others are pretty much "I've been there" pictures.

Anyhoo,

These are all over the North of England me thinks. Mostly me and my Dad just drive around, find a place and just go out walking and taking photographs. Otherwise my parents take me to lots and lots of historical places and I just randomly photograph lol

Helmsley castle is in the Dales which is sort of middle North England lol I think the abbey is in the Dales as well.

Scar Fell Pike is in the Lake District, which is North West England.

Greta Bridge is North East England.

This wasn't all one day or one place by the way. These a scattered throughout different days and places lol I am just going through my old photos and posting my faves.

Telina, yes that is a ruined building the other side it's like completely crumbled away. I do have photos of it but they aren't the best. I have one that I sort of like that I could post if you want.

lavabubblingout, I guess i should post this on every one of my photo threads. I don't like to manipulate photos, none of my photos have been manipulated on photoshop (except the ones that I do for college and university, because they make you lol) what you see is what you get. I sort of believe that people who over manipulate their photos are cheating because you can either take photos or you can't lol Besides I just take them for fun anyway. Doing a photography course has put me off photographing professionally :p You can mess on with the photo if you want lol It may be interesting :D

What th-- A photography thread of yours I haven't commented on????

Just comments on the pictures I find need improving. ^_^

First picture: This would have been perfect had the tree not been blocking the tower. And she shadows keep cutting into the green.

Fifth picture: I love the leaded glass, but it's like a crocked frame. And it's bugging me.

As you can tell, I liked this set of photos! ^_^ Very nice work.

Questions? PM me.

Hey Beci!

:P I thought I commented here already!

xD Is everything in Europe made of stone and hills?

I love your photos, Beck! You should seriously make a website or something to put all of your photos on! Not to mention, you could earn some money with this sort of thing!

My favorite one here is the last one with the sheep. They're so cute! xD It reminds me of the three billy goats, how they were in size order, haha.

Nice work! Very, very enjoyable!

Very awesome! Photographs, although they may seem simple, are very much not so and you did well with that camera of yours.

I have only one comment though, and its on the one with the three sheep. That picture is quite the hilarity, but you should think a little about the headroom used and such things. They are directly on the middle of the picture which isnt exactly appealing to the eye. Try turning the camera and keeping them all just a little to the left. That way you`ll get a feel that they`re facing in a specific direction and they wont feel crowded when they do so. Just a little tip.

But yah, beautiful scenery, beautiful photography. All around.. beautiful :D
