Hey guys, I'm trying to write an action scene and a scene about a man getting lost in the desert. They both need to fill up an entire chapter. Can anyone help me out?
The action scene involves a stong man, three weak men, and a dagger. The strong man wins.
If anyone can help. Please :)

Here is an article on battles you might want to check out.

My perspective:

To really draw out scenes, put more emotion into it. Have every single line tie-into the MC in one way or another. It's also a good idea to do a play-by-play of what happens, just so you have something to go off of when you're writing.

Unfortunately, since you haven't given us that many details about the scene itself it's hard for us to know the best way to draw things out.

Do what all of writers do. Make stuff up!

Like, if one of the characters is about to die, make their life flash before their eyes or something like that. And if the MC sees someone they know die, flash through the MC's mind all the good (or bad) memories they had together.

Hope I helped!

Keep writing!

God Bless!

Thanks for the link on the article. The battle is about the MC who gets kidnapped by three men and is taken to a desert. The Main character breaks out of his binding and kills the three men.
This is what the scene looks like so far

After a while more of being carried by the strange men, I felt myself falling and landing on a soft ground of sand. “We better get going,” one of my kidnappers proclaimed. While they were carrying me, I had been trying to pry a dagger of the back pocket of my trousers (I fell asleep in my clothes). Right when the men were about to run away, I pulled the dagger out of my pocket and cut the rope that bound my hands together. I sprang up and charged at one of the men. The dagger went straight into the first man's heart. I saw another man out of the corner of my eye and kicked him right in the stomach.

After a slice to his head, I was finished with that man and I moved on to the third and final man. At first site of the gruesome rage displayed on my face, he began running in the direction of the village. I sprinted after him and tackled the man to soft sandy ground. With my rough hands clasped on to his throat, I looked in to his eyes and asked him, “who sent you to kidnap me?”

Is this ok for an action scene?
