You find yourself standing before the looming wrought iron gates of the Academy. You received the letter only days before, but the headmaster has rushed as many students in as possible before the start of the school year.
As the gates creak open, you slowly begin your walk down the cobblestone path that is overgrown with weeds and grass. The flower gardens on either side of the pathway in the courtyards are all but dead, but somehow the wilted roses look beautiful.
“Welcome to [Vergessen] Academy!” The headmaster’s voice fills the air. He stands upon a balcony overlooking the front yard.

{Plot}
This academy is filled with Necromancers and Mediums. The reason for the academy’s existence is to assist lost spirits and help them safely and happily into the afterlife. You, also, are here to get a good education (Yeah, sure) and to learn more about your powers.
But soon you discover that a dark cloud is looming over the academy. Not physically seen, but all the students can sense that it’s there. So ten students decide to team up and investigate the phenomenon. What you realize is that a student who die in a severe fire at the academy is back. One-hundred years later, on the same day, same time that she died, she’s back for revenge. You have to stop her, and help her cross-over peacefully.
But this thing is not taking the form of an apparition, but it is possessing the bodies of students and leaving them hospitalized after use— sometimes they’re even found beaten and dead. You have to ensure that there is safety in the academy before the news gets out to the world, and the academy is forever shut down.
In this academy you find yourself not only tangled in normal teenage problems, but possibly even romance. You have to balance your grades, as well as enhance your own powers.
This is in present day, 2009. The storybook begins August 31, three days before school.

Name: Alyse Sylvia Grey
Age: Fifteen.
Date of Birth: 08/08/93
Gender: Female
Appearance: Alyse has long brown hair that usually hangs loose around her face in multiple layers. She is relatively tall. Her skin will tan slightly during the summer. She has light brown eyes and a very shy appearance to her. She usually looks down when she walks. If her hair is up, its down with one of those popular “conductor” hats. The hat is black with two pins in it. A pin with ‘Think Green’ on it and the other says: ‘Emily the Strange’ with a picture of Emily the Strange’s cat. She usually carries around a ‘hobo-bag’ with her notebooks and journals.

Personality: Apathetic to a point, quiet and shy around strangers, but will relax around people she truly trusts.
Powers: She is a Medium.
Alyse’s eyes went blank. Her head began to bob. She stared at nothing in particular, but she plunged into darkness. From there she landed in a room filled with white. There was nothing there, except for the wooden door that crossed you into the other side.
Other: Up for love. She likes cats. Her favourite sport (if it is considered one) is rock-climbing, but she plays soccer, too. Her right eyebrows is slightly more pointed than the left. It makes her look more sarcastic than she really tries to.
{Quirks} Still sleeps with a beat-up blue bunny rabbit plushy named ‘Boo’.
{Habits} Bites her nails a lot. Her black nail polish is usually ruined. Sarcastically raises her right eyebrow a lot while her face stays stolid.
