Why? =[ Please Read

I am AGAINST animal testing by all means.
I hate it.
Absolutley hate it.
&& DO NOT tell me that it is done for our own good.
Law DOES NOT require cosmetic selling markets to test their products on animals.
But it is still done.
People say things like, "Well. If we didn't have animal testing than we wouldn't be able to have medication."
Well I have something to say for those people::
NEWSFLASH
Some of the animals that are tested on do NOT have the same body structure as humans, and so will not give the same reaction as we will.
So what is the point?
Also a lot of the things animals are tested on DO NOT even sell in the market.
There are other options than killing a poor helpless animal.
There are many computer techonolgies out there in which you can virtually use these kinds of tests....and it will give the same exact reaction as to a real animal...except the animal won't die because it is used on the computer.
Is animal testing done JUST because the animals can't say, "Please don't do that. It hurts."
How would you feel if you or someone you loved was tortured in such an inhuman way.
When we will dissect in class I will most likely pass out or ask my partner to do the dissecting...I REFUSE TO CUT OPEN A POOR CREATURE.
Even if it is already dead.

I love fashion.
But I love animals more...and I will NEVER buy something that had been made by torturing animals.

Tell me your comments on the videos, animal testing, etc.

I'm not even bothering to watch the whole video. I got to the part where the man had the animal hanging upside, while it was writhing to get out of the grasp, and stopped it. Much too unbearable. Some people are just monsters.

During my class right now in school we are working on an editorial. Sadly, five people are already doing animal-related things, so I could not choose it. But when my friend told me about horse abuse (I love any animal) I could not stand hearing it.

Did you know that some horses are still conscious when they are slaughtered? Yes, inhuman, isn't it. And just think: In Canada we had a people set a cat on fire. I thought to myself: Why don't they just like themselves on fire and run around not knowing what to do?

The sad reality is that no one understands that animals have such intense feelings as us. So why test on animals? I'm on your side JustDance! DOWN WITH ANIMAL TESTING.

I saw PETA and did not even bother clicking on it.

PETA, is the biggest crap feeder ever, most things they say are untrue and lies you know. And most ideas that have to save them do more damage.

like they want to free all farm animals, because they are cruelly treated there, but if they are released they will just die because they do not know how to survive anymore.

they want to eliminate all animal testing and do it on humans, who would die from it, Would you rather have a human die over an animal.

they want to replace all milk made from cows with booby milk. Why because it hurts the cows. Wrong the cows like it, or at least don't mind it. They want to get the milk that babies need and give it to everyone on the earth, which would be impossible basically, because there would not be enough.

PETA, has no idea what they are doing, they say things that are untrue, and try to help by hurting others.

You made me cry! Oh my gosh! I'm like a total tree/animal hugger. I cry at those commercials on TV when their like "Thousands of animals are abused and for some help comes too late." I'm with you, animal testing is just plain wrong. I stopped the video when they were like skinning the animal. I was sobbing by then anyways, I need a tissue. Why can't people just buy fake fur? It's the same thing! It looks the same! Is it just for the pleasure of saying "Why yes, this is expensive real fur they killed poor defenseless animals for!"? Ugh! It really gets to me! Thanks for opening our eyes, I hadn't realized it was this bad.

&& FYI Ryan...PETA does NOT want to test on humans...it's saying how if they do that to animals than why not us?
of course they won't do that though.
&& another FYI the animals that are put in fur farms are locked up out in the rain and hit from time to time just for fun.
They would probably rather die than have to be tortured over and over and over again.
before you start saying stuff please make sure to reseacrh and put yourself in the animals shoes.

&& This is a free thread so if you think animal testing if fine...you may say why.
You won't be yelled at or hated but most likely will be told a few reasons like i did with ryan.

I never said that they were lying about them being skinned alive, but i am saying all they do is whine about it and hatch stupid ideas of how to stop it, PETA does nothing but get celebrates Naked and against fur, pour fake blood on people, and hatch stupid ideas on how to help and never actually do anything about, oh and also make dumb games that make no sense. And i have done my research i have been on that site read the stuff, gone on YouTube and found out about some of their new dumb ideas, and even play their idiotic games.

I am against animal cruelty, but also against PETA, if there was a smarter version of PETA that i knew of i would be on their side.

Not ALL of PETA's ideas are stupid though.
PETA got Brittany Spears to get rid of elephants and all other animals on her Circus tour because it wasn't comfotable for the animals.
Maybe some of them are stupid...but unleast they try.

I didn't bother to watch the video. My parents watched a video on a turkey farm, and the sounds of the sad, terrified gobbles and my mom saying to my dad, "That turkey was alive!" was enough to make me sad.
