Awesome picture, seriously. I love the reflection of the setting(?) sun on the water. Also how the clouds partially cover the sun reminds me of that conflict of good vs. evil. I don't know how, but it does.
The colours in the sky are wonderful! It does look rather dark in the front there, but the rest of the pictuer is great! Keep up the good work!

First off: I liked the color of the sky here, its so pretty!
I don't know if it's just me -a likely possibility- but when I first looked at it, it looked like there was a castle on the other side of the lake. (The pine trees to the left of the sunlight reflection created this for me). I know there's nothing you can do to really change this, but it seems off centered because there's not much on the left side. Otherwise, its great.

I realized that I said I'd be gone for only two weeks...but I was gone for much longer.I hope to stay on this time.
Wow! Lake superior! I have never seen a picture of it like this before-- only aerial view photos and photos in broad daylight. I never knew it could look so... beautiful!
This is great! The natural contrast of the clouds and the water give it a beautiful touch. The sun's reflections and the snow on the rocks really add the touch to the photo. Overall, a very picturesque photo. I'm quite jealous that you live so near to the Great Lakes. Keep up the good work!

Wow mags this is AWESOME!!! I love the general colour theme of yellow(?). Sometimes sunsets are kind of overwhelming when they have like 16 dif colours in them!! the other people comments on your pic about how lucky we are to live on Lake Superior... sadly we're prob going to fully realize this only AFTER we've moved away..... sad.
This was great. I love how the clouds partly cover the sun. Also, how they are light and dark. The reflection on the water is lovely. Keep up the good work.
It's a really great picture, especially for being a "quick snapshot".
Could easily be turned into a greeting card, the cover of a "Romantic" card or a postcard.
It could even be the basis for a business card.
Since there is a good chunk of negative space to the upper left region it makes it perfect to edit with text--poetry, greeting, business info...
You pretty much nailed two of four intersecting points with the focal point of the picture, which helps it draw your eyes across the entire picture to focus on it.
Amazing job, truly!
(Keep playing around and you might wind up making some money from stock photographs--people pay good money for that kind of stuff.)
In particular 3d modelers will pay good money for a cd crammed full of all sorts of pictures.
If its something that intrests you, PM, and I'll give you the skinny on what kinds of things to shoot.
