I'm making a new rule.

**You can only post once a day**

I'm making this a rule because this has taken off so much. That's not bad, but in order to keep it more in order, I think it'd be best for once a day posts. If you have any problems or questions just pm me. :D

Um, You should feel happy that it has. And what are we supposed to get done in this storybook when we can only post once a day? That's a bit irrational. You're supposed to make these rules when it's getting confusing. Not while there's a small possibility of it. Right next to our name when we begin a post we could write where we are and such so it will clear up some of that confusion I guess. But one post a day seems... well... grounds for a dead storybook shall I say.

But anyway, I won't be able to post for this whole week as I need to do the purple vs. blue competition.

*Okay... I'll ignore that post. Can someone bring Peyton in soon? She sometimes likes solitude but needs a little company right now. Hehe.*

Tessa:

They all sat around the a fire. Silence engulfed everyone. After all what could they really say, Hey I'm so happy we met you. Hopefully we can be best friends..... Not likely. The girl named Carla Velasquez, was at least trying to be friendly, but Tessa could see the hesitation in her gestures.

"So how long have you guys been travelling?" Carla asked shyly.

"Why does it matter," Spike asked with a growl and shot her a dirty look. She fell silent. It wasn't a surprise that he didn't trust her. He didn't trust anybody, not even Tessa, though they'd been traveling together for nearly a year.

"Well, it's been about maybe three four days since we've actually had something to make us feel full. If that's what you mean." Tessa ignored Spike and answered Carla. She was reworded with another shy smile.

**music_lover_7311, just have Peyton stumble across our group. Or you could have her like pass out and we find her while we're all like traveling again.**

*Yeah, we need to hurry up and get everyone together. Its confusing now.*

Carla

I could tell that Spike was a bully as well.

"Hmmm, I've been traveling for awhile too. Its been hard but I've lived in a hard situation before." I said, raising my chin.

"Oh..." Tessa trailed off, glancing at Spike.

It was quiet for a while before a girl came staggering towards us.

Risa Hanley~~

Carla was trying to be nice to these people.

Great

If I can be nice to them to ma be they can be stupid enough to tell me something about a nearby slave route.

Why does it matter," a guy with a really creative name growled and I mentally rolled my eyes

"Well, it's been about maybe three four days since we've actually had something to make us feel full. If that's what you mean." the girl Tessa said.

"So!" my natural acting skills kicked in.

"Where are you mates from?" I smiled at the grump and I was answered with a chilly glare.

"I hate you." He smiled sickly at me.

"Ok then!" I smiled sickly right on back.

~Luke and Carlie.

The figure had stopped not far from them, "Seems harmless to me," Carlie whispered.

Luke kept staring, "Do you think we should go over there?" He asked her cautiously and dug the toe of his Converse into the gravel.

"Yeah," Carlie insisted, "It'd be nice to have someone besides each other."

Luke nodded and they walked over to where the person was sitting. The girl was eating something and she looked up at them with bright, excited eyes. "Hi," Luke said tentatively. "I'm Luke and this is Carlie."

The girl smiled slightly, "Hi," she replied quietly. "I'm Peyton."

"Um," Carlie stammered. "Do you want to join us?"

The girl looked them up and down and took another bite of her granola bar...

Spike:

There was something about this Risa girl that made him itch with curiosity. She was annoying, rude, and kind of pretty. Not his usual pick but it wasn't like he ever actually dated anymore. Nobody did. He caught Tessa staring at him and chose to stare her down. She flinched and looked away. So weak...
"Tessa, are you hungry for anymore," Carla asked offering what little food they had left. There was definitely something not right about her. Risa grabbed the food and smiled eerily at us.

Tessa:

Spike was acting weirder than usual. "Will you cut it out," she muttered to him through gritted teeth. He simply glared at the starry sky.

[b]Peyton[]/b]

Finally, some people. This will be so much better, Peyton internally sighed with relief.
"Yes, thank you," she said, a smile of gratitude appearing on her face. "I'm guessing you guys are headed to Mexico."

Steven

Just up the road from his small group, he caught sight of three people - none of them slaves or bullies by the looks of it - talking to each other. He turned back to the three who were now handcuffed and looking thoroughly afraid of the tal Irishman.

"You three head back to the gang, I'm sure you know your way from here." He smiled, "And remember, the only people with keys to those are myself and others from the gang. Don't even try breaking them off, they're not exactly designed to let people go." He chuckled, "Now get moving."

He unslung his holster from his shoulder and wrapped the strap around it, shoving it into his backpack under a pile of clothes. Going to a group of travellers and openly carrying a gun was not often the best of ideas. He kept his shillelagh in hand, though. After all, it was just a stick.

"Afternoon to you, friends!" he said, slipping easily back into his more casual way of speaking, "You'd be heading out of town, would you?"

Steven had no intention of stopping them - yet. At the moment, they were more useful free. They could lead him to more potential slaves. Of course, his demeanour conveyed nothing of his innermost thoughts. His manner was open and friendly as he walked towards them through the rubble, smiling broadly, backpack slung over one shoulder and shillelagh held loosely in his other hand.

Risa~~Keeper of the Erif

I looked Carla who was still trying to make small talk, I acted dumb and put on a smile that screamed. "I'm a clueless traveler" which was quite the opposite. Carla was nice and the people who two of them were obvious bullies. I ate the pasta with my hangs on the piece of aluminum that the corn had roasted in, the spices on it were not much but it tasted good. I smirked to myself at my own self pride.

I spoke up, "yeah I have been traveling on the indigo route, lucky for me I hadn't seen bullies who have taken interest in me." that was an obvious lie, there were plenty.

"We traveled on the Indian run ourselves, but it's hard and a person like you could barely walk it" spike smirked.

"What's the indian route?" stupid smiling me said.

"It's a route that cuts through the old mountains," He smirked again and the girl next to him hit him.

"Shutup.." I heard heard hiss barely audible.

I continued to wear my stupid smile.

Tessa:

Why is Spike being so stupid right now? He was openly talking about the Indian route. Only a few travelers knew of it and if you didn't- good luck to ya. It was the most traveled trail by bullies and raids almost always took place in the cities surrounding it. Still no one actually the route was the cause of it. It wasn't all that bad, though. If you knew where to look you could find all the supplies needed to survive for weeks. Bullies stashed things all over the Indian route, so stupid they were. And since it was in the mountains it made it even harder to find.

In reply to Risa's innocent question Tessa assured," It's nothing special just an old route, is all."

"Really? Well what's it like?" Risa asked with a shy smile or sly. Tessa couldn't tell.

Spike replied before anyone could say a thing,"It's the best trail to find the perfect amount of food, but you'd never last a day because of all those raids." Tessa hit him again.

"What are you doing," She hissed and across from her Risa's eyebrows went up, but then she quickly composed herself.

"Really though, it's way far back, nowhere near Mexico and-"

"Tess what are you talkin about? It's on the way. In fact that was the route we planned on taking," Spike interupted.

Great.....just great... Tessa had had no intention of carrying on with this group. Especially since something was so unsettling about Risa.

**Tessa is not a bully Spike is....just clearing the air. hope this is fine**
