Okay! Because I am unsure if anyone is posting as I am posting, which is most likely plausible and they will most likely post first, please do not mind the repetition of the rules that I am going to give you.

Welcome to YWS!
I am sure you will enjoy it here. Also, if you are so interested in points, just post a lot around the site in certain forms. It keeps you occupied more and it also will help you meet more people.

I tend to be quite crazy so you do not have to worry. We are all a little crazy around here.

Now there is two main rules you really need to follow closely.
1) Minimize chat speak --> Here on this site, since we are a young writers society we do not believe i nusing chat speak. You need to use proper capitalization and punctuation. You also have to try to refrain from using 'u' instead of 'you' and 'lol'. Things like that.
2) 2:1 Ratio ---> This rule is that for every piece of work you want to post, you have to review two other peoples pieces of work. This makes sure everyone can get a review, and also, it will give them a little bit of incentive to review yours.

Well, I am lazy so I will leave the colours to someone else. That's about it. I welcome you and I hope you enjoy it around YWS.

Hey! I think you'll like it here. Just remember to use proper English. Some members can get annoyed it you use things like "lol" or "omg" or stuff you would use instant messaging.

Okay, so you may have noticed some people's user name is a color, here are what the colors stand for.

Light Green and Dark Green: Junior Moderators and Moderators. If you have a question you can always ask them.
Red: Site Administrators, they keep the site running smoothly.
Orange: Distinguished Members, usually retired moderators and administrators.
Light Blue: Greeters, like me! They make new members feel welcome and answer their questions.
Purple: Instructors, ask them for a really great critique.
