Dancing, dancing, dancing
I spin in circles
The light flashes on my body
The pink and orange glow of the sunset
Waves crash on my feet
The water surrounds my ankles
And rushes back down
Pebbles and stones shine in the sand
Dancing in the air the seagull screams
The sun sinks below the watery horizon
Casting an erie glow over the lake
The moon comes out
The sky goes dark
The stars twinkle on
I sit in the warm sand
Lost in thought
My mind is dancing
Dancing, dancing, dancing
Silver glints off the water
I lie in the sand
My arms out
My face to the starry night sky
As nature does its dance
The world is
Dancing, dancing, dancing

This is the best thing I have read by you! You certainly have improved since "Ghost." I loved the theme. It was so sweet and innocent. Great job.
when there's nowhere to go, it's time to grow up.

I really like this and I think that you put a beaches magic into clever words. It is exactly how I would feel if I was dancing at the beach, if she is at the beach that is. I like the way you wrote this and the stanzas that you put this poem in. congrats on capturing natures magic again. keep writing, is what I have to say.

You're wrong about humanity. They are your greatest creation because they're better than you are. Sure, they're weak, and they cheat and steal and destroy and disappoint, but they also give and create, and they sing and dance and love. Above all, they never give up.
