Boarding School

Tony waited by his car once he got back to the academy. He decided to wait for Alyse since he had a feeling she'd get lost. Adam had waited with him for a while, but soon decided to go back inside. They had decided to meet for breakfast in the morning. I've already met some great people and it's only my first day.

Tony started to worry when Ryan showed up and he said he hadn't seen Alyse. Come one man, don't over react, but what's this feeling. He decided to go for a run of his own and look for her. He made it to town in about 15 minutes at full sprint and was panting. He walked around a bit until he heard a small scream.

Turning into an alley he saw a homeless man stand up and Alyse right next to him. Thinking fast he cried out, "Hey Alyse, what are you doing here. Every one's looking for you." He walked into the alley and the man took a step back. he threw a five down, "Here, I hope you can find a warm place tonight." Apparently the man wasn't stupid and just took the money.

Once they were out of town he sighed, "Jesus Christ. I should trust my gut more." He looked at his hand, it was shaking, "I'm pathetic. I nearly lost my cool." Alyse just smiled at him and it made him blush.

Alyse~

Alyse could not explain the relief she felt when Tony showed up. Her whole body flooded with warmth. She almost ran and hugged him with thanks.

Once they were out of town he sighed, "Jesus Christ. I should trust my gut more." He looked at his hand, it was shaking, "I'm pathetic. I nearly lost my cool."

Alyse gave him a half-hearted smile. "Its okay. I probably would've broken down and cried if you hadn't come."

Tony gave a small chuckle. They were back on campus. Tony had explained to her the directions, and Alyse gratefully thanked him. "Well, I'm just going to go take a quick meander around the track, I think," Alyse sighed, beginning to stretch. "You can come too, if you want. But I'll probably run around once. I have yet to meet my roomate, or roomates."

Tony scratched his head and thought a bit before nodding, "Alright. Running always calms me down any way." They headed out and jogged at a decant pace. After a minute he remembered something, I've only met her today and I know nothing about her. Turning he asked, "Why is it you love running so much? I enjoy it because it calms me down, but you seem to love it for than anything else in the world?"

Alyse~

Alyse almost stopped running. What a deep question. How was she to answer that? She barely knew the person. And she didn't want to bore him with her life story. "Well...," Alyse hesitated, "it's a long story, and I don't think you want to hear it."

Tony had stopped just a little ways ahead of her. She began jogging again, and once she passed Tony, he began running alongside her.

MATT

I heard the guy talking outside and I sighed. MAy was cool, but she was WAY to high maintenance for me. It would never work.

"Talk, Now!"

"Fine." I said, then I told her about my grandparents and why I had been so upset earlier.

She sighed. "I guess that makes sense... So, do you wanna go back to school?"

"Yeah." I muttered.

I turned on the car and backed out of the lot, speeding down the road to the school at seventy. I had no idea why driving fast made me feel good, but it did. Probably the same reason alot of people like scary movies.

When we pulled into the school I walked May to her room and then went into my room to change. I thought I would go for a run with my soccer ball while it wasn't too late. I locked the door behind me and went out to the track. Two people were already running, it looked like Tony, and Alyse. I stretched while they rounded the bend, and then started running with them when they passed me.

"Mind if I run with you? If not I'll just push ahead?"

Chad~

Maria was winning, but I wondered if it was because of superior skill or my new found clumsiness. I hated that about myself I get around a pretty girl and i make a fool of myself. I was keeping it close though because I was just that kind of person that liked competition, and she seemed to be the same. Again I got distracted and missed the ball hit me in the face.

Tony pondered Matt's request. He looked at Alyse and noticed he had probably hit a soft spot he decided to drop it for the moment, "Sure." The three ran for a little and talked. Simple stuff, classes, likes, and dislikes. Matt soon left to practice and Tony decided to take a break and sat down on the field while Alyse continued to run.

He watched her and got lost in his thoughts, A long story huh? Now that he thought about it Tony had given her the short hand of his explanation too. Maybe I should apologize. He got up, and when she passed she ran with her again. "I'm sorry about asking you that question. It seemed I hit something I wasn't supposed to." She started to say something, but he stopped her, "We just met. We don't know each other well, but feel free to talk to me any time. I'm a good listener." He started to jog back towards the dorm, but turned, "Besides, it looks like we'll both be on the track team, so it seems you're stuck with me no matter what." He smiled and waved leaving on a lighter note.

It was obvious tat Matt didnt like me at all. I dont think anybody really did, except Maria and mabe Elyse because they all treated me like an idiot who just blew up stuff and smiled too much. I tried not to be bothered by it but I was, so I just was quiet through out the whole ordeal with this new person to me. I got back to te room and noticed that Maria was gone, I mumbled to myself. What to do? I was so bored already and I wasn't happy for once the entire day. I jumped out my window and landed incoherently on the sidewalk outside. I put my hands in my hoodie pockets and walked outside. It was getting cold, so I zipped up my jacket, This must be time for the handy dandy IPOD! Too bad its back in the room... I remembered that we didnt have furniture so I thought Id fix that.

I dialed a number on my phone and chatted in smooth italian to my father's slave, I mean servant Rennie.

"Hey abbiamo bisogno apparentemente di una certa mobilia, dint messo che sul Web site."

he answered me back in a worried tone

"Amore, siete che ritenete giusto? Suonate giù."

I answered back in monotone

"Im fine." then I hung up because I knew he would understand.

I walked around and felt the crisp air on my neck. I finally descided to go back and I walked in the front door, for only the second time today.

Alyse~

Alyse was about to say something, but Tony interrupted. Then he left. She jogged around three more times, never really sticking around to see if Matt was coming. She just jogged back to the dorm. Her hair was a mess; her long bangs were sticking to her forehead, and her tiny ponytail has long again come out. When she walked into the bathroom, she wondered if she had always looked insane.

She took a quick shower, and jumped out. She heard a noise. She went to investigate. Sure, enough, it was her roomate. "Hey, I'm Alyse!" Alyse stood at her doorway, a hand raised like she was waving. The girl jumped. "Oh, hi! I'm Coraline!"

I made it to my room and looked around, I pulled one of my many suitcases to the kitchen, this one was the largest and the heaviest. I sighed a content sigh, I knew that the school didnt provide food and I was hungry. So I unzipped my bad in a quick movement. I pulled out of it a pack of easy mac, a bunch of random bags of chips, some salsa, a couple of boxes of cereal and a couple of things of popcorn. Late I pulled out the fruit which was still perfect as I had placed it in there. I unlocked the mini porta fridge and got the gallon of milk out of it along with a couple or mini orange juices. I smiled and frowned, of course Rennie had thought to put two bottles of my father's favorite red wine in there. It tasted good and the school prolly didnt even check anything/ didnt care. MHe knew I wasnt a big drinker but I put a sticky note on it anyway saying

THIS IS MAYS AND SHE IS SAVING IT FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION SO BACK UP!

She smiled and felt better. She tossed a thing of popcorn in the microwave and went to plug in her ipod into her head. She pressed shuffle and danced around the room. Little did she notice that the door had just opened.

I played soccer for a while longer, just getting my legs used to moving around the ball again. I got so into it that I didn't notice Tony and Alyse leave. I picked my ball up and ran back to my room. Chad still wasnt back so I decided that I'd take a shower. I hopped in and just did a quick rinse, I'd be more thorough tomorow.

While I got dressed I thought about the ride back from the gas station. May had looked pretty upset.

I picked up my guitar and walked over to her room. I knocked on the door but no one answered. I pushed it open a little bit, "May?"

No answer.

"May?" A little louder this time.

Then the door was pulled open and May stood there wearing a frown.
